When the monstrous woman saw that the men had discovered her, she started to walk forward, plotting how to kill them.

She had barely taken a step when Ling Xiao lashed out with his whip, wrapping it around her neck and slamming her against the wall.

"She's still alive!" the young man said.

Ling Xiao looked at the woman. She had twelve feet and twelve hands, some sewn on and some naturally grown. Her blood was green, and her tongue had been cut off. She was wailing and screaming. Her body was covered with lumps of flesh, and her belly was particularly large. Upon closer inspection, she was also covered in oil, which was disgusting.

Ling Xiao took a few steps back, his expression strange. Seeing that something was wrong with him, the three of them stepped forward to protect him.

Seeing that Ling Xiao was far away, the woman rushed over. The fat man fired a shot at her, but unexpectedly, the woman didn't die. However, the blood that flowed out soaked her clothes.

"Be careful, her blood is corrosive!" the young man warned.

"Damn it, what kind of monster is this!" the fat man cursed.

While the group was at a loss, the woman's stomach suddenly burst open, and a white-haired ghost emerged. Wu Xie exclaimed, "That's it, the jar ghost!"

The fat man fired several more shots at the jar ghost, but it was to no avail. The group was forced back to the coffin, and Wu Xie fell in, landing on top of the cat corpse.

Startled, he screamed and threw the cat carcass away, only to discover that there was a hole beneath it. The fat man exclaimed, "It's a robber's hole!"

Seeing this, the young man pushed Wu Xie into the tunnel, then turned and pulled the fat man in as well, shouting to Ling Xiao, "Run! You can't kill him with a shot!"

Seeing that the others had all crawled into the tunnel, Ling Xiao used the tip of his nine-section whip to cut their hands, and then lashed out with the whip.

The woman seemed to have been corrupted by something terrible; her body instantly turned black, and she collapsed to the ground.

Enraged, the jar demon charged at Ling Xiao, baring its fangs and claws, completely disregarding Ling Xiao's bloodline. Ling Xiao, now stained with some blood, lashed out at the jar demon.

The jar ghost let out a howl, indicating it was seriously injured but not fatally. Ling Xiao then took out a dagger from his spatial storage and engaged it in close combat.

Within two minutes, the head of the jar ghost fell to the ground.

Ling Xiao took out a bandage from his backpack and wrapped it around his hand. He then took out a wet wipe and cleaned the nine-section whip. He lifted his clothes and wrapped the whip around his waist with satisfaction before climbing into the tomb.

After the three of them left the tunnel, they entered a passageway filled with water. They went up into a pool of water, held their breath, and swam to the surface.

Upon closer inspection, the three discovered that it was yet another tomb chamber with side chambers. The fat man cursed, "Damn it, which old bastard designed so many side chambers!"

Wu Xie, still shaken, asked, "What was that just now?"

The fat man said, "I'm not afraid of those things, but even someone as powerful as you, Little Brother, would run away from them. I won't try to be brave. Besides, why should we run? Are they really that powerful? You can't even kill Little Brother?"

"That woman is capable of killing; she's a living dead and looks like an experimental subject. The little one is a white-haired drought demon. We can kill it by cutting off its head, but it will release a lot of corpse poison when it dies. We don't have much oxygen right now, so doing that would be too risky!"

Wu Xie breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that the drought demon hadn't chased after him, but quickly raised his voice again: "Where's Ling Zi?"

The young man looked behind him. He had just been pushing Wu Xie in front and dragging Fatty behind, telling Ling Xiao to run quickly, but he hadn't paid attention to whether Ling Xiao was following. He stood there in a daze.

"Damn it, Lingzi didn't follow!" Fatty cursed in self-reproach. If he had looked back then, would Lingzi have caught up? Had Lingzi been spacing out again?

The fat man decided to go back to find Ling Xiao. Just as he was about to jump into the pool, Ling Xiao came out of the pool.

Seeing this, the three breathed a sigh of relief, expressed their concerns, and then the four of them began to observe the side room.

The side room was filled with bottles and jars. Wu Xie looked at them carefully for a long time but couldn't figure them out. He just said, "These are all in the style of the Central Plains!"

The group also discovered that the side room was sealed off, with the entrance blocked by a wall made of white marble.

Wu Xie was observing with a flashlight when he noticed something in a corner. He shone the light back and looked closely, then exclaimed, "Ah!"

All three of them looked in his direction and saw a hideous face covered in scales in the spot where his flashlight was shining, with its eyes flashing green.

Ling Xiao felt nauseous just looking into this guy's eyes.

"Damn it, where did this sea monkey come from?" the fat man cursed.

It was probably because Ling Xiao carried the scent of a sea monkey that the sea monkey charged straight at him, seemingly unaware that Ling Xiao's bloodline might be harmful to it. The young man hurriedly stepped forward to stop it, but the sea monkey was clever enough to make a feint and then rushed right up to Ling Xiao.

The sea monkey opened its huge mouth to bite Ling Xiao, but Ling Xiao blocked it with his arm. The sea monkey bit down, and in less than three seconds, the sea monkey died.

The sea monkey's scales fell off, turning it completely black, and the flesh on Ling Xiao's arm was jiggling, constantly bleeding.

"Looks like I need a tetanus shot! (???∞) But do I really need a tetanus shot? Is this bloodline not working properly?" Ling Xiao muttered to himself. Being bitten still hurt quite a bit, especially since the flesh on his arm had been torn off. However, he felt quite comfortable now; the pain made him feel happy.

After quickly cleaning the wound, the fat man tried to bandage it for him, but Ling Xiao dodged him: "Fatty, you know my blood has a problem, so... thank you!"

The fat man nodded, looking somewhat dejected. Over the course of their time together, he had always felt a distance between Ling Xiao and them. Although they seemed to have a good relationship on the surface, Ling Xiao was not actually warm towards them. Even though he had helped Wu Xie many times, it did not stop Ling Xiao from being wary of them.

He wanted to make some changes, at least to make Ling Xiao feel that they were trustworthy brothers. As for Xiao Ge, to him, this person was very mysterious, seemed to be very strong, and had helped them a lot before. There shouldn't be any conflict between them. Although he always appeared and disappeared mysteriously, he was still a trustworthy ally.

"We need to find out where this monkey crawled out from," Ling Xiao's words reminded Wu Xie.

Wu Xie gestured for everyone to turn on their flashlights and headlamps and shine them in one direction, which the others did.

The group stood by the pool, where a huge coffin floated in the middle. Wu Xie shone his flashlight into the water and started scratching himself, while Fatty was also itchy all over.
