The second door of the Palace of Mirrors leads to a rather large maze of mirrors, with mirrors reflecting each other, creating a crisscrossing network that makes it easy to get lost.

Seeing this setup made Ling Xiao feel a little uneasy. Looking at so many mirrors, strange thoughts inevitably arose in his mind: Were the people in the mirrors real? Was the world they lived in real, or was his own world real? Could one of them appear and replace him?

Ling Xiao gripped Xie Yuhua's arm nervously, shivering. Xie Yuhua noticed the child's unusual reaction and gently patted the child's head, saying, "If you're scared, we'll go outside."

Ling Xiao shook his head. Seeing his persistence, Xie Yuhua clapped her hands and comforted him, "Don't be afraid! I'm here with you."

Because the walls were all mirrors, it was easy to bump your head. The staff gave each of them a helmet, and Xie Yuhua led Ling Xiao inside.

Because Ling Xiao disliked looking in the mirror, he always kept his head down, and soon he discovered the secret here. After trying it twice and finding the correct route both times, he asked Xie Yuhua, "Brother Xiaohua, do you want to know the trick to passing the level? Or do I have to find it myself?" He placed the choice in Xie Yuhua's hands.

"You've discovered the pattern?" Xie Yuhua was somewhat surprised, after all, they had only just entered and had been walking for less than two minutes, and she hadn't expected the child to discover the pattern so quickly.

"It's not a pattern, just some loopholes," Ling Xiao explained, adding that at most he had exploited a bug in the game.

"Let's walk a little longer!" Jieyuhua said. After all, it's a game, and we should leave some room for the player's experience. But how did the kid find the loophole?

When Ling Xiao learned that Xie Yuhua wanted to experience the game, he stopped looking at the ground. However, it wasn't long before Xie Yuhua realized what the loophole the child was talking about was.

Jieyuhua took off her helmet and said, "Let's go."

Seeing his actions, Ling Xiao knew that Xie Yuhua had found the loophole in the game. He then took off his helmet, and the two of them lowered their heads and walked out of the maze through the gap under the mirror.

It turns out that there is a small gap under the mirror on the correct route of the maze. I don't know if it was specially made to make it easier for the staff to clean, but in any case, it is very different from the other mirrors.

The mirror maze was really big; even though the two knew the correct route, it still took them almost 20 minutes to walk through it. After returning the helmets to the staff, Ling Xiao felt hungry again and realized it was already 5 p.m. He clutched his stomach and yelled at the sky, "Ling Xiao is so hungry!"

Seeing that the child was subtly begging for food, Jieyuhua gently rubbed the child's face and asked, "What would Lingxiao like to eat?"

Ling Xiao deliberately rolled his eyes, pretending to be deep in thought, and finally tentatively asked, "Stir-fried hawthorn berries?"

"No! Next." Xie Yuhua refused Ling Xiao without even thinking.

When Ling Xiao realized he had been rejected, he resorted to his usual cute and charming tactics with Xie Yuhua, and even asked for a hug.

Jieyuhua expressed that she enjoyed Ling Xiao's actions towards her, but while she enjoyed it, principles couldn't be broken. Even as Ling Xiao sat down at the restaurant to eat, he still couldn't understand why he hadn't gotten to eat the stir-fried hawthorn berries...

"It's boring." Ling Xiao poked the rice in his bowl hard with his chopsticks.

"What do you mean, 'meaningless'?" Xie Yuhua asked, wiping the child's mouth.

"Without roasted hawthorn berries... the world has become so boring!" Ling Xiao complained to Xie Yuhua, his eyes seemingly glistening with tears.
