HP: The Root of Everything - The Magician

Chapter 48 Hermione's Cry

In the girls' restroom, in front of the washbasin sculpture.

Teach Carr brought Harry Potter here, greeted the student ghost Myrtle, and then commanded Harry, "Harry, open it in Parseltongue."

On the way here, Teach had already told Harry about the Basilisk. The Saviors had changed a lot without Hermione, and Harry Potter had become an ordinary little wizard again.

Although Voldemort's influence means Harry will often be surrounded by danger, these dangers are no longer a concern for Harry Potter because Hermione is there to know the reasons behind them.

Think about the original story, where Harry Potter faced all the dangers from Voldemort alone. Just how much did this underage boy lose?

The deaths of friends, the deaths of relatives, the sacrifice of mentors...

Although he ultimately defeated Voldemort, what did he gain? A childhood filled with unbearable sorrow.

In the end, even though Harry Potter got married and had children, the things he lost were far too heavy to bear. Even the happiness and fulfillment of his family with Ginny couldn't fill the void in his heart.

At this moment, twelve-year-old Harry stood in front of the ablution statue, looking a little lost, so he turned to Teach Carter to ask for a question.

This made Teach, who was getting anxious, frown and urge, "Just say something in Parseltongue, like 'Open Sesame' or something."

After listening to the advice, Harry whispered something to the washroom sculpture.

After trying several Parseltongue attempts to open the Chamber, Harry successfully opened it. Looking down into the dark, bottomless pipes, he swallowed hard, feeling both fear and unease.

At this point, Teach didn't care about Harry's feelings. He kicked Harry down and then jumped down himself.

......

Inside the secret chamber, in the hall with the snake statues.

At this moment, Tom Riddle is raising his wand to cast the Legilimency Charm on Hermione, trying to extract more magical knowledge from her mind.

Tom's research on magic consisted only of the 'Knowledge Extraction Training Array' that he copied from a public lecture. Although he repeatedly studied and developed this array, it was too rudimentary and no matter how much he studied it, it was of little use.

Therefore, he needs more knowledge of magic to ensure that his creation of a living human body will not result in any uncontrollable accidents.

However, Hermione's brain was protected by a sealing potion, and Tom's current remnant soul magic was unable to pry it open.

With no other option, Tom Riddle had to give up for the time being.

He then used Lockhart's body to begin the depiction of the Life Analysis Transformation Array.

Finally, next to it, is drawn Teach Carl's 'Human Body Transformation Array' that he drew in the Horcrux notebook in order to lure out the artifact.

After finishing his drawing, Tom began to observe and think about how to combine the two formations: using the body shell to form a formation to create a human body, and then using life analysis to form a formation to inject cellular vitality into the human body shell.

Tom thought to himself that he had never racked his brains as much as he was doing now, through deep observation and reflection.

After a long time, Tom finally found the connection between the two formations, but after drawing the two formations together, he overlooked the most important thing in mastering magic: the materials.

Magic cannot be created out of thin air; materials are essential.

Gradually, Tom turned his dark gaze to Hermione Granger, who was unconscious in the plant: [Materials~, isn't this all we have?]

Moreover, this material is young and full of vitality.

[That's right... For human transmutation, the material should be the human body; the corresponding material will surely be able to create the most perfectly fitting body.]

Although this material is female, it can be transformed during the training process.

After thinking it over, Tom took action.

She dragged Hermione onto the transmutation circle, then removed Hermione's wizarding clothes piece by piece. Dark magic then overflowed and spread to the wand, transforming it into a sharp scalpel.

Tom grinned maniacally and slowly slid his wand and scalpel into Hermione's body... Blood gushed out.

Hermione's hot blood continued to flow, spreading throughout the entire formation along the lines of the training array.

The intense pain and her body growing cold caused Hermione, still in a vegetative coma, to murmur, "Teacher..."

......

As if hearing a call, Teach Carr's heart trembled violently.

After Harry Potter opened the last snake door, Teach rushed in and saw Hermione with her chest wide open.

After Teach's initial disbelief, a surge of overwhelming rage followed: "You bastard, what did you do to my disciple?"

Teach unleashed his magic with both magic circuits at full power, shattering the solid ground with his feet as he charged towards Lockhart (Tom), striking directly at the magical shield Tom had created.

With a single punch, Tom Riddle's defensive shield, which could withstand even high explosives, was shattered.

With another punch, Teach, filled with murderous intent, slammed into Tom's abdomen, piercing Lockhart's body with a single blow, and then slammed him into the human head statue like a piece of trash.

Just as Harry Potter was about to continue smashing Tom Riddle to pieces with his fists, he suddenly called out to Teach, who was charging forward, in great anxiety: "Professor Carl, come quick! Hermione is alive, she's still breathing, but she..."

Harry, his hands stained with blood, stared at the huge gash on Hermione's chest, terrified and at a loss. He wanted to press on the wound to stop the bleeding, but he was afraid that if he didn't handle it properly, he would kill Hermione.

Upon hearing that his disciple was still alive, Teach's anger vanished instantly, and he teleported to Hermione's side.

The huge laceration on Hermione's chest made Deteach's heart feel as if it were being squeezed tightly by someone.

This injury was beyond the healing gem created with potions, but Teach still took out the gem, hoping to temporarily save Hermione's last breath.

Seeing that Hermione's bleeding had stopped thanks to the Healing Stone, Harry made way for Teach Carl.

Then Harry took out his wand and looked at the head statue that had been smashed and was now covered in dust, using this as a warning to Teach about Tom Riddle in order to help Hermione.

Teach Carr suppressed his heartache, forced himself to calm down, and then began to observe Hermione's injuries.

The chest cavity was brutally torn open, numerous blood vessels were destroyed, and there were lacerations to the lungs, but fortunately, the heart was not damaged.

[It can be saved!]

After assessing Hermione's injuries, Teach moved swiftly, drawing a 'Restoration Alchemy Circle' on Hermione's cracked chest cavity in a second.

Then comes the 'repair training array' for the lungs.

Finally, there are the blood vessels, which are so tiny that they are invisible to the naked eye. Fortunately, Teach Carl completed the 'Eye Killer' glasses.

With the help of the Magic Eye Killer Glasses, the severed blood vessels were clearly visible.

Drawing the 'connection training array' on each blood vessel was an incredibly difficult task, allowing Teach no room for error.

......

In the crater that was smashed into the human head statue.

Tom Riddle is painstakingly using magic to repair Lockhart's battered body.

Under Tom's magical protection, Lockhart's body was damaged, but his blood vessels and internal organs remained intact.

After repairing a movable arm, Tom controlled his hand to reach into the Seamless Extension Bag and poured bottles of healing potions onto Lockhart's upper body as if they were free.

After using dozens of bottles of medicine, Lockhart's body finally healed.
