HP: The Root of Everything - The Magician

Teach Carr and his apprentice Hermione Granger were conducting their own magical research in a carriage where no one else was present.

Hermione is using a matter conversion array to try and refine silver into mithril, but this highly complex research is not so easy to complete.

After a period of fruitless study, she stopped and stared intently at her teacher, Teach's, magical alchemy.

Teach is currently researching the creation of an alchemical pair of glasses that can be used to resist the Basilisk's blindness. The winter semester has ended, and the secret room storyline will fully unfold in the spring semester. Teach must quickly master the craft of these 'Demon Eye Killer' glasses.

And so, the time on the train passed as the master and apprentice each went about their own business.

As evening approached, the train came to a stop, belching out a plume of smoke.

The train's announcement said that Platform Nine and Three-Quarters had arrived, and all wizards should take their luggage and prepare to disembark.

Hermione was a little disappointed when she got off the train with Teach but didn't see her parents there to pick her up. However, she could understand that her parents were Muggles and couldn't get onto the platform without a wizard to guide them.

Hermione then turned to her and said, "Teacher, would you like to come to my house for a while? Although I don't know where you live, it's already evening, and I don't want you to stay in a cold hotel tonight."

Hearing his disciple's concern, Teach smiled and reached out to rub Hermione's head, saying, "I hope this won't disturb your family's life."

"Of course not, my parents will definitely welcome you, teacher."

After saying that, Hermione excitedly grabbed Teach's hand and they went through the wall, returning to the real world.

As soon as she came out, the Grangers, who had been waiting for a long time, rushed over and hugged Hermione, showering her with affection and concern. Seeing this scene, Teach couldn't help but feel a little emotional, which reminded him of March lying in the hospital bed.

Then, Hermione broke free from her parents' embrace, took Teach's hand, and introduced her to them, saying, "Mom and Dad, this is my very beloved teacher. I've learned so many amazing and different things from her at school."

"Mom and Dad, you need to make a clear distinction. It's a teacher, not a professor."

After Hermione finished speaking, Teach extended her hand and introduced herself, saying, "My name is Teach Carr, it's a pleasure to meet you."

"Hermione is an extraordinary disciple whom I am incredibly fortunate to have taken in, and I firmly believe that she will achieve extraordinary things in the future."

The Grangers, having initially been taken aback by Hermione's presence in Teach's arms, instantly abandoned their worries about their daughter being taken after learning that Teach was their teacher. They then warmly extended their hands to shake hers, saying, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Carl."

"My Hermione, I hope I haven't caused you any trouble!"

"You don't know this, but Hermione often annoys us in certain ways, such as her poor interpersonal skills. As a result, my wife and I are always worried that she will feel lonely."

Hearing the Grangers' words, Teach glanced at Hermione beside him with a teasing look in his eyes, and then said, "Mr. Granger, there's no need to worry. Hermione is a very intelligent child. Nothing can stump her, including how she gets along with people."

Because Dumbledore was afraid that any more students might be in danger, he sent all the students home.

Harry, Ron, and Ron's siblings got off the train together, and Ron invited Harry to stay at his house for the night.

Welcomed by Ron's family, the Weasleys, who already knew about Harry's family situation, warmly offered that Harry could stay with them as long as he wanted, treating their home as his own.

This moved Harry instantly, and he fought back tears welling up in his eyes.

After greeting Hermione Granger on the platform, they vanished into the crowd in the blink of an eye.

Chippuning Estate, Oxford, England.

The orange lights in Granger's two-story house are heartwarming.

Although Teach Carr was a guest, he did not have the habit of waiting for his meal, so he got up and went to the kitchen after being persuaded by the Grangers.

Seeing this, Hermione followed her into the kitchen and thoughtfully helped her teacher prepare the ingredients.

As the Grangers listened to the sounds of chopping vegetables coming from the kitchen, they felt immense pride in their daughter Hermione, instinctively thinking that it was all thanks to Teacher Teach's excellent teaching.

On the table, there were stir-fried dishes as well as Western dishes.

Western dishes were nothing unusual, but the Grangers were quite curious about these Chinese home-style dishes. After taking a bite, they exclaimed at how delicious they were. Mrs. Granger then asked Teach how to make these home-style dishes.

Hermione occasionally chimes in to make her presence known by mentioning her parents and teacher Teach, but spends most of her time devouring the Chinese dishes on the table.

Ever since she ate the dumplings and spring rolls that Teach made for Christmas, Hermione's taste buds have opened up a new world of delicious food. But unfortunately, because of her magic research, even if she begged and acted cute, Teach didn't have time to make them for her.

The meal ended at nine o'clock in the evening amidst laughter and cheerful conversation.

Teach got up to wash the dishes, and despite the Grangers' strong objections, explained, "I am a professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and Hermione's teacher. As a teacher, I must lead by example."

"In my academic work, the concept of 'getting something for nothing' has never existed."

With Teach saying that, the Grangers had no choice but to give up.

He then sternly said to Hermione, who was lying on the sofa watching TV, "You are a really incompetent disciple. Go to the kitchen and help your teacher."

The next day, Teach woke up in Hermione's room.

The reason was that although there were extra rooms, they hadn't been cleaned, and it would be impolite to give up a dusty room to a guest, so the thoughtful Hermione gave up her room.

When Teach opened the door, he saw Hermione already waiting outside.

I asked her and found out that she had mentioned wanting to visit her teacher Teach's house last night when she was sleeping with her parents. Fearing that Teach would disagree, she waited at the door early this morning.

After hearing this, Teach felt very gratified.

He wanted to refuse, but then he thought about it... He couldn't go to the hospital to visit March himself, but it would be nice if Hismione, his disciple, could go in his place.

'Traces Revealed' cannot be used on Muggles who do not possess magical abilities.

'Tracing the source' requires tracking items.

Knowing this, Teach carefully collected all his personal belongings along the way to avoid being hunted down by the Aurors after killing Nicol. He destroyed anything he couldn't take with him using gunpowder, ensuring that he left no clues or traces that could be used to track him down using magic.

So for the next year and a half, Teach was at peace.

After receiving Teach's permission, Hermione happily went downstairs and served her the breakfast that her disciple had prepared for her teacher: "Teacher, where do you live? When do we leave?"

"Not far, just in the countryside near London."
