HP: The Root of Everything - The Magician

Chapter 139 Sneaking into the Castle

With the involvement of a third party, the government, Kington realized that his agreement with Teach Carr had become fragile and was in danger of collapsing at any moment.

So, after leaving Hogwarts, Kington did not return to the Ministry of Magic, but instead Apparated out of the wizarding world and came to London.

Göshère town.

Kington Kitsch stood outside the ward door, carrying a fruit basket and a bouquet of carnations. After tidying himself up, he knocked on the door.

Kington introduced himself as Teach's wizard friend and, after obtaining Corey Bab's permission to visit, entered the ward.

As soon as he entered, Kington saw several pairs of eyes fixed on him with obvious hostility.

Kington simply smiled and ignored it.

His visit to the hospital, posing as Teach's friend, was intended to send a message to the British government and the anti-magic agencies, making them believe that Teach was having a good time in the wizarding world.

In front of several wizards sent by the government, Kington used his wand to comb through March's body, and then talked with Corey Bab about how he and Teach met in the wizarding world and how they became good friends.

After doing all this, Kington took his leave.

The unsuspecting government wizards were left behind, their minds filled with speculation.

After exchanging glances, the government wizards secretly reported to their superiors via telephone that Kington Kitsch, the Minister of Magic, had visited the hospital.

The fact that Teach and Hermione were not arrested by the Ministry of Magic prevented Dumbledore's original plan from going astray.

So, as planned, Dumbledore dispelled several of the castle's security spells when no one knew about them.

At the same time, several secret passages leading to Hogwarts Castle were also deactivated.

This was done so that unscrupulous wizards who wanted to steal the Griffin could effectively enter Hogwarts and bring danger to Hermione and Griffin.

However, to prevent unscrupulous wizards from harming the innocent young wizards after entering the castle, Dumbledore, the white-bearded old man, had an extra workload.

This meant he had to patrol the castle constantly, both day and night.

Dumbledore has really gone to great lengths for Hogwarts, considering how old he is.

Teach watched as Old Dumbledore wandered around the academy castle day and night, knowing that he was doing so to ensure that the unscrupulous wizards' activities did not escape his control, so he simply watched and did not interfere.

Teach's indifference was not without purpose; he wanted Hermione, his disciple, to kill with her own hands.

Committing a crime yourself is a completely different experience from ordering others to commit a crime, so Hermione, as a magician, must go on a killing spree.

Only after she began killing could Hermione truly understand the saying, "A magician treats all life equally."

Watching his disciples return to their intensive studies after their day off, Teach thought to himself, "No matter the world or the environment, no one can achieve success without shedding blood. No one..."

[Hermione, teacher, I'm really looking forward to your performance!]

......

In the dead of night, Hogwarts was unusually quiet.

In the corridors, in the gardens, and in the square, there was no one else present except for Headmaster Dumbledore, who was on patrol.

But in the silence, Dumbledore's keen ears picked up some faint sounds.

After assessing the situation, Dumbledore left the scene with ease, leaving room and opportunity for the unscrupulous wizards who were digging tunnels into the castle to infiltrate.

Before long, a shovel suddenly emerged from the soil, and with some tinkering, a cave large enough for a person to pass through appeared.

Nike cautiously poked his head out of the tunnel. After observing that no one was around, he tiptoed out of the ground and came to the corner of Hogwarts Castle.

He crouched down and whispered into the tunnel, "Vina, come up quickly, there's no one here."

After successfully entering Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Venere and Nek meticulously concealed the cave, then used their wands to magically hide the traces.

Finally, in the shadows cast by the moonlight, the two stealthily moved forward one after the other.

Dumbledore, with Fawkes the Phoenix at a distance, watched the whole scene clearly. Then, he used his superior Illusion Charm to become invisible and followed behind the two unlawful wizards.

In the castle's stone corridors, where torches flickered, Venus led the way, excitedly saying, "Nek, it seems you chose a very good time and location for digging. We've entered Hogwarts, where Albus Dumbledore is in charge, so easily!"

After hearing this, Nek said in a low voice with immense pride, "Of course, the magic I inherited from my teacher is for things like 'treasure hunting'."

"When it comes to finding the weaknesses in defensive magic and choosing the right time, no one knows better than me."

As they talked, Nike suggested, "Vina, you said how to divide it, and how much to divide, should be based on each person's contribution and merit in the operation."

"So, I'll help you get into Hogwarts smoothly, and I'll give you an extra 10% on the loot."

“Okay, okay, I’ll add one percent, I’ll share it with you later, but we’ll have to wait until we catch that mythical griffin first,” Viner readily agreed, but only he knew the red glint that flashed in his eyes as he looked at Nek.

Vena is a self-taught dark wizard who learned magic entirely through criminal means. After decades of struggling in the dark environment of the magical world, he needs to resort to certain methods to become powerful.

Nek was a master-apprentice wizard who, after learning magic for finding objects and treasures from his master, defected and left his master.

Someone like him is notorious in the magical world.

After searching for half the night, the two still couldn't find where Griffin had built his nest. After all, Hogwarts was quite large, and its layout was extremely vast and complex.

Although Venus and Neck are British wizards, it's normal for them to get lost since it's their first time at Hogwarts.

As dawn approached, the two had no choice but to stop their search and hide.

But in order to find the griffin, Vena led Neck to a corner of a corridor, where they seized the opportunity to catch two young wizards going to the toilet in the morning.

After tying up the two young wizards who were so frightened they lost control of their bladders, Venerer began rummaging through his bag. Before long, he found two bottles of Polyjuice Potion.

After tossing one of the bottles to Neck, Wiener said, "Choose one."
