"But if you have ulterior motives or want to double-cross someone, then you should think carefully, ma'am..."

The leading wizard was clever, making polite concessions while demonstrating that these unscrupulous wizards were not to be trifled with. However, such cleverness was nothing but a useless trick in the face of absolute power.

Xia Ke did not reply, but instead manipulated magic to draw a small pebble into her jade hand, and then gently tossed it.

This seemingly effortless toss generates tremendous force, propelling the stone to the speed of a bullet's sound.

The stone that Xia Ke threw pierced the chest of the leading wizard and shattered his heart.

The lead wizard looked down at the hole in his chest and collapsed into a pool of blood, dying.

The death of the ringleader terrified the unscrupulous wizards, and the scene instantly descended into chaos.

A small pebble could kill a wizard, which shows that Xia Ke, who seems unapproachable, really is not to be trifled with, and should absolutely not be messed with.

Most of the unscrupulous wizards are self-aware, otherwise they wouldn't have survived in the magical world this long, without any support or connections, committing crimes and all. So... they started to run away.

What's the point of spoils compared to your own life?

Xia Ke tilted her head, glanced at the fleeing lawless wizards, then spread her dragon wings and chased after them at top speed.

Among the orders Teach gave her were not only to select laborers from among the pure-blood wizards, but also to kill all these lawless wizards.

Dumbledore's method of using others to do his dirty work is not a reliable way to cover up his crimes.

His plan was to pin the Auror's death at Hogwarts on the noble pure-blood wizards, saying... they killed the Auror, and as for the reason? He could just make one up.

In Teach's view, the safest way is to kill everyone who is related to or has had contact with him, so that there is no way to prove anything.

As for the female reporter...

Journalists, after all, are only interested in making newsworthy stories. How much of what they say can you really believe?

Even if the Ministry of Magic uses the 'facts' in the news as grounds to arrest and question Hermione and Griffin, do they have any evidence?
