"Ichijo ni Ofuro! (Let's take a bath together!)"

Philippa rolled her eyes at the cheering Sofia and retorted, "We'll shower together (at the same time), but not in the same place (at the same location)!"

Philippa took her light sword and entered the cubicle.

Just as Sofia was wondering why Philippa had brought a weapon into the cubicle, Philippa's voice came from inside.

"Let's get this straight: if I find out you've done anything strange, and you refuse to listen to any explanations or show any leniency, I'll break up with you on the spot!"

Alright, now Sofia knows why Philippa always carries a weapon.

Hearing Philippa's serious words, Sofia sighed softly, "I understand."

Sofia actually regretted revealing her sexuality without thinking it through.

Misogyny can't be hidden, but one's true nature can be faked. Pretending to be a best friend and offering some benefits is just how it all turns out.

Honestly, I was so stupid.

Sofia sighed again and went into the cubicle next to Philippa.

However, it's not a big problem; Philippa underestimated Sofia.

"Being able to eat three bowls of rice just by listening to the sound of water" is an essential skill!

Sofia took off her clothes, humming a little tune, while imagining the scene next door...

Philippa's somewhat embarrassed voice rang out: "Um...Sophia...how do I use this?"

After several days of adventure in the secret realm, the first thing Philippa and Sofia did was take a shower!

They feel uncomfortable unless they are thoroughly clean and smell fragrant.

At Sofia's strong suggestion, Philippa went to the local Grand Chamber of Commerce's bathhouse.

Unlike the large pools that Philippa was familiar with, the bathhouse provided by the Grand Chamber of Commerce was actually a series of small cubicles with no pools; all she saw was a strange device.

Sofia immediately perked up: "Coming right away! I'll teach you step by step!"

The next second, a light sword slashed past my eyes and stuck straight into the ground.

This startled Sofia.

No, sis, are you serious?

If she dared to peek, she would probably be killed by Philippa's sword.

Sofia: "The sword was only 0.01 centimeters away from my throat..."

Now he really won't dare to cause trouble, but if it's just a joke and he doesn't take any real action, it should still be okay.

The sword had already been thrown, and Philippa had nothing else to throw at her to threaten her.

If it's just empty bravado, I doubt Philippa would ever stop showering, change her clothes, and then come next door to chop her up.

Sofia can still be a "queen of verbal sparring"!

“Oh, these things from the Grand Chamber of Commerce aren’t fully widespread yet, so it’s normal that you don’t know how to use them…” Sophia said, “It’s very simple, I can teach you just by talking to you.”

That strange device is called a shower head. Isn't there something on the wall that can be turned left and right? That's the shower head switch.

Turn the water up, then to the left... look at the markings on the wall. Turning the tap to the red side is hot water, and to the blue side is cold water. You can easily adjust the water temperature.

“Oh…” Philippa did as she was told, and water sprayed out of the showerhead: “It looks so high-tech, but there’s no magical fluctuation, so it’s not some kind of magical mechanism…”

Sophia laughed and said, "Of course I wouldn't know how it works, but it shouldn't be anything too complicated, otherwise the Grand Chamber of Commerce wouldn't have installed so many of them so easily."

“What are those three bottles?” Philippa asked again.

“Shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner—their functions are exactly as their names suggest,” Sofia explained. “They all have labels on them, so they’re easy to identify.”

Philippa picked up a small bottle labeled "shower gel," poured out the liquid, and sniffed it.

"It smells so good..."

"That's why I brought you here. The space is a bit small, but the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner provided here are of very good quality. You'll smell nice after you shower," Sophia said.

Philippa now knew why Sofia had brought her here. She had thought it was because the space was small and the two of them were only separated by a partition, making it easy to spy on each other.

Now that we know it's not... at least it wasn't because of that. Philippa doesn't believe that the Holy Maiden hasn't had any ulterior motives.

"Ugh... I'm back!"

After bathing, Philippa changed her clothes and came out a little ahead of Sofia.

Sofia sighed with regret as she came out.

They didn't even wrap themselves in a bath towel before putting on their clothes, so you couldn't even see the whole picture of them after taking a bath.

"Then they use a hairdryer to dry their hair, as if they say that not drying your hair after washing it will damage it."

Upon hearing Sofia's words, Philippa quickly followed her instructions and used a hairdryer to dry her hair.

"Alright, let's go meet up," Philippa said, seeing that Sofia had also finished using the hair dryer.

The meeting, of course, refers to Taric.

"Where are we going again?" Sophia asked, somewhat displeased. After all, they had just returned from the secret realm, and now they were setting off again?

Philippa explained, "We can't go out again today, it's so late, but we need to at least discuss what we need to do tomorrow."

“Okay…” Sophia stuck out her tongue helplessly, but had no objection.

A sense of impending doom weighed heavily on the three members of the hero's team.

Even though many days had passed and there was still no news of the Demon King, they were still worried.

The dark purple-black magical light curtain that blotted out the sky was so terrifying that the scene during the Holy Light Pilgrimage is still vivid in my mind.

Philippa was very uneasy.

She found the Demon King's behavior to be extremely strange.

It is currently impossible to confirm when the current Demon King was born, but based on historical patterns, it is known that the Demon King must have been born before the Hero. According to this pattern, the Demon King will revitalize the demon race, lead the demon army to attack human kingdoms, seize territory, and cause conflicts.

But strangely, both the Demon King and the Demon Clan have disappeared without a trace. For so long, there has only been one piece of news about either the Demon King or the Demon Clan.

The demons in the labyrinthine dungeon and the demon king who suddenly appeared on the Holy Light Pilgrimage.

Then they disappeared again.

This might seem alright, at least humanity isn't facing an overt crisis, and it's not like humans and demons have already started fighting, to the point where the capital could be breached the next day.

But Philippa was still uneasy; it was a fear of the unknown.

She didn't know whether the Demon King's silence meant he had no intention of fighting against humanity or that he was secretly plotting something big.

Using terms like "irreconcilable enmity" and "father-killing hatred" to describe racial hatred and historical patterns is incomplete.

The latter is more likely than the former.

"You have to...become stronger...(もっと强くなっきゃ...)"

Upon meeting Taric, Philippa immediately noticed his unusual expression.

"Who are you trying to impress with that long face?" Sofia retorted without hesitation.

Taric smiled wryly: "There's some news..."
