"Ah!" Beta screamed, then simply closed his eyes, blocking out his sense of smell and hearing, and turned to fire several arrows at the location of the cappuccino he could see before his eyes.

“Beta, the bishop isn’t there. I’ll show you the way,” Capa said quickly.

Beta breathed a sigh of relief: "It's nothing, just letting off some steam."

Beta's series of actions convinced Cappuccino that she was definitely hallucinating, but for some reason she was able to dodge attacks repeatedly.

This is an illusion that can even deceive the senses; it's useless to rely solely on perception even with your eyes closed.

So why?

Cappuccino suddenly realized that the other person also had a fellow who was skilled in mental magic.

"Is that you?" Cappuccino roared.

Kappa giggled, "Bingo! But there's no reward!"

He also pointed out the location of the cappuccino to Beta.

With pinpoint accuracy, Beta nocked an arrow and fired a vibrant green magical arrow.

Cappuccino ordered the griffin to block the arrows, but defense was not the griffin's forte. Cappuccino himself was unharmed, but the griffin was covered in cuts and bruises while helping him block the attack.

Cappuccino realized the situation was dire and knew he had to continue summoning magical beasts to aid him in battle.

Before chanting the incantation to open the gates of greed, Cappuccino shouted orders to his cult followers.

"Are they all useless? Can't they even interfere with a mentalist?"

In return, she received only Kappa's charming laughter.

Despite being distracted by helping Beta, Capa showed no weakness and skillfully dealt with the cultists.

She's an eighth-tier mentalist; multitasking won't affect her.

"Tsk..." Cappuccino clicked his tongue and gave the unicorn and griffin orders to protect him. The iridescent crystal butterfly continued to interfere with Beta and tried to see if it could affect Kappa.
