That evening, Pan Yang arrived at the gymnasium as promised, but the entire gymnasium was dark.

Pan Yang pulled Zhou Yang to the very center of the stadium. The two footsteps were almost clearly audible in the quiet surroundings. Suddenly, a huge symbol appeared on the ground, emitting light that shone directly on Pan Yang.

Pan Yang quickly pushed Zhou Yang out, and the light suddenly acted like a shield, trapping him on the symbol.

The stadium lights suddenly came on, the light so bright that Pan Yang squinted and saw Sean and his gang of henchmen walking out from the shadows.

Suddenly, the symbols on the ground emitted red flames.

Sean didn't even look at Zhou Yang, but sneered at Pan Yang: "So arrogant, yet you're still trapped? Guess what this formation is for."

"It will slowly absorb your life force, and in the end you won't even leave a corpse. This is a formation that I finally found, and using it on you is not an injustice at all."

Pan Yang remained completely calm, summoned Xiao Yao, and poked at the barrier. It seemed that the formation still had some merit.

Sean didn't understand where Pan Yang got the sword, but it didn't matter anymore; Pan Yang was doomed.

He then looked at Zhou Yang standing to the side and smiled, "Tsk, I didn't expect you to push this kid out. Guess if he'll save you?"

Upon hearing this, Pan Yang looked at Zhou Yang and then sat down on the ground without hesitation, as if he had given up even struggling.

Sean walked up to Zhou Yang and looked him up and down. The man's aura was unfamiliar. He said, "I'll give you one chance. Will you choose to save him or pretend you didn't see anything?"

Zhou Yang glanced at Pan Yang and then looked at Sean, a smile appearing on his face. He slowly said, "I am a vampire."

"I guess you..." Before Sean could finish speaking, the smug smile on his face twisted into a distorted expression. He suddenly dodged backward, looking at the bloody gash in his abdomen, and then looked up at Zhou Yang.

The man took a handkerchief from his pocket and wiped the blood from his hands: "But I act entirely on my whims."

Seeing this, Pan Yang also stood up, decisively lifted Xiaoyao and looked down sharply. A blinding light shone so brightly that everyone couldn't open their eyes. When the light faded, the formation on the ground was no longer there.

Sean stared at Pan Yang in shock: "You're not human? Wait, what's the origin of that sword of yours?"

Pan Yang shook Xiao Yao: "Guess."

Sean sensed something was terribly wrong, and the oppressive aura emanating from Zhou Yang made him even more alarmed: "Run!"

He shouted and turned to run away, but at that moment, Xiaoyao suddenly split off and passed right through Sean's shoulder, pinning him to the wall.

Sean stared in horror at Pan Yang as he approached step by step, and finally burst out laughing: "Pan Yang, you can't kill me. I am a vampire, the child of a vampire prince. If I die, you won't live either."

Pan Yang rubbed his hands together and looked at Zhou Yang: "Do you have a cross and holy water?"

001: "? Isn't the host Zhou Yang also a vampire? What's he doing bringing this thing with him?"

"Yes." Then Zhou Yang took out a perfectly sealed bottle from his pocket.

001: "What's wrong with you two?" It didn't understand why vampires would carry holy water.

Pan Yang took the bottle, and Sean was clearly shocked as well, letting out a cold laugh: "This is fake, right? How could a vampire carry one on their person?!"

Pan Yang poured half of the holy water directly onto him, and Sean let out a piercing scream.

Sean gritted his teeth, staring at Zhou Yang in disbelief: "Are you fucking crazy? You're a vampire, how come you're carrying holy water?"

Pan Yang pulled Xiao Yao off him, and Sean collapsed to the ground. The next second, Pan Yang sprinkled holy water on Xiao Yao, and then aimed it straight at Sean's heart.

He then poured the remaining holy water all over Sean. A sizzling sound was heard, and Sean stopped breathing and turned into a pile of dust.

Pan Yang returned the bottle to Zhou Yang: "Thanks."

Zhou Yang looked at the bottle, which was completely empty of holy water, and silently took it: "He's dead. Aren't you afraid the prince will come looking for you?"

"Go ahead and look for them. I'll kill them one by one." Pan Yang didn't care at all, then looked at Zhou Yang as if he had just thought of something: "Do you want to be the Blood Emperor?"

"What?" Zhou Yang was startled by Pan Yang's words. Did this human know what he was saying?

"The Blood Emperor's whereabouts are unknown, so something must have happened. You know, every prince wants to become the new Blood Emperor. If you want to be me, I can get you one." Pan Yang's tone was somewhat excited; the thought of fighting against the entire vampire clan to seize the position of Blood Emperor was thrilling.

"I don't want to be it." Although Zhou Yang didn't know if he was just saying it casually or not, he had no interest in the position of Blood Emperor. If he were interested, he would have made a move long ago.

"Tsk, fine then." Pan Yang shrugged indifferently and pulled him away from the gymnasium.

The next day, everyone looked at the unharmed Pan Yang and Sean, who had not appeared at all, and wondered what had happened.

In the afternoon, Pan Yang was summoned to the principal's office.

Looking at the people carrying crosses, Pan Yang immediately understood the purpose of this mission.

The principal took a deep breath: "Student, I heard that Sean went to the gymnasium with you last night?"

Pan Yang nodded.

"Did you know that Sean died in the stadium? He was a prince's son."

Upon hearing this, Pan Yang nodded solemnly: "I understand, but I didn't do it. I'm just a human, not even a vampire hunter."

An older vampire hunter standing nearby said, "Young man, you can think carefully about who else went to the gymnasium last night. This matter concerns both races."

"Oh, I don't remember."

"Student! Please take this seriously!" the young vampire hunter shouted at Fan Yang. "Do you know how dangerous this is for humanity if this matter isn't thoroughly investigated?"

"I don't know," Pan Yang said calmly.

Everyone in the room gasped. The principal's heart sank: "You must understand, the vampires are now plotting against us humans. This incident could very well become the spark that ignites a war."

"So, you want me to admit that I killed Sean, and then throw me to the vampires to quell a war that hasn't even started yet?" Pan Yang's voice was unhurried and reached everyone's ears.

The older vampire hunter spoke first: "Young man, you've misunderstood. This is only the last possibility, so can you tell me what exactly happened last night?"

"Tsk." Pan Yang walked to the window, knowing without a doubt that these people wouldn't let him off so easily: "So you mean to sacrifice one person for the greater good, huh." Pan Yang suddenly chuckled.

"The pact between humans and vampires hundreds of years ago wasn't so that vampires could oppress humans step by step." Pan Yang glanced at everyone in the room: "I killed Sean, so you want to kill me?"

Pan Yang showed no fear whatsoever, even appearing somewhat calm and composed. The young vampire hunter, upon hearing this, was momentarily at a loss for words. After a long silence, he broke the silence: "No human should have been sacrificed."

Upon hearing this, Pan Yang looked at the man and thought, "This kid has potential." He said, "If there's nothing else, I'll head back now." Pan Yang walked around them to the door, thinking to himself, "Tsk, I thought I'd have to jump out the window. What a pity."
