Arthur stared wide-eyed in disbelief at his usually upright and kind brother.

"Hahaha, this is my good brother! You actually want to kill me because of an outsider!" A tear fell from Arthur's eye as he looked at the empty sky.

“I foresee someone willing to die for me, and I will become even stronger. Then I will come and kill you.” Arthur’s white wings instantly turned pitch black, and his white robes were shrouded in wisps of black mist.

"Milo! I curse you! I curse you to forget everything, to become mortal, and to be trapped in this city forever until the day I return." Arthur used his last strength to curse his brother Milo.

Miler opened her mouth as if to say something, but looking at his hateful gaze, she didn't know where to begin.

Miler's wings vanished, and he plummeted from the sky. In his blurred vision, his younger brother transformed into a shimmering glow, scattering between heaven and earth. He didn't want to forget, he wanted to grasp something tightly, but darkness descended, ultimately engulfing him.

"I never thought I would kill you."

"Enough! Do you know what I hate most about you? It's your hypocritical attitude." Arthur took a deep breath and gave a sarcastic smirk.

"Do you think no one knows what you've done over the past two hundred years? I've been watching you all along! I know everything you've done clearly. Now are you still going to give me those sanctimonious platitudes?"

A moment of stillness descended, broken only by the whistling wind. The city seemed dead; the streets were deserted.

Miler kept his head down, seemingly lost in thought. Suddenly, his shoulders twitched, and he let out a muffled laugh, which grew louder and louder.

"So you knew all along? I have nothing to say. Come on! Let's fight! It's either you or me." Miler's white wings turned black, and his white robes were replaced by black. Miler, who was once full of morality and righteousness, had become a fallen angel.

Perhaps he had already fallen into darkness, his heart gradually darkening under the daily scolding and beatings from humans, perhaps even earlier.

"Foolish mortals, I'll give you one minute to disappear from my sight, or you'll face the consequences." Arthur glanced at the crowd in the courtyard, his expression cold and unmoved. Even seeing Arthur's mother didn't faze him. He was Arthur, yet he wasn't Arthur.

Arthur's mother left in a daze, as if she had lost herself. Afterwards, she asked everyone she met where her son was. She had gone mad, completely and utterly insane.

Everyone ran towards the front door, except for Karin, who ran towards the back door. His sister was still there; he had to take her with him. Even though she had done many wrong things, she was still his sister, and nothing could change that.

Arthur glanced casually at the sky, where a person and a bird stood. Even though the person was half-dead, he still wanted to inform him. He was a kind angel, wasn't he?

It was this casual glance that caused Arthur a sharp pain in his chest, almost suffocating him, as countless memories flooded back to him.

That's... my older sister?

Qin Baobao lay on a giant sword, her clothes soaked with blood. Her eyes were vacant, her expression numb.

Duan Jiufeng had never seen a sister like this before; the sisters he had ever met were always noble and confident.

What happened to my sister? Why did she become like this? My sister's chest... Could it be that the one who was destined to die for him, as prophesied, was my sister?

How could it be her? How could it be her?

No! No! Sister, don't die!

I'll die! I'll give you my heart!

Arthur flew forward, and just as he was about to reach Qin Baobao, a soft whip blocked his path. A soft whip grew from the greatsword, wielding it to prevent Arthur from getting any closer.

This guy is all black; you can tell at a glance he's not a good person! Qinghong waved her arms dismissively, trying to keep him away.

"Get out of here, you black bastard. Don't come any closer. Qinghong is here, we're not afraid of you. If you come any closer, we'll poke you to pieces." The little system's fur stood on end, still bluffing and threatening.

Arthur, or rather Duan Jiufeng, looked at himself covered in black aura. No wonder his sister's sword didn't recognize him; even he himself was starting to doubt his own identity.

Arthur dispelled the black mist from his body, transforming into a pure white holy angel, and approached once more. Qinghong did not stop him.

"A lucky child? Are you Arthur?" Although Arthur had become a Holy Winged Angel, his appearance was still seven-tenths the same as before.

"Host, Arthur is actually a chosen one!" The little system couldn't help but tell Qin Baobao about this.

Qin Baobao turned her head to look at Arthur, then turned back to look at the sky and muttered to herself.

"Sister, it's me, Xiao Feng! What's wrong?" Duan Jiufeng saw Qin Baobao's gaze and immediately flashed a sunny smile. But his sister only glanced at him before turning away, her gaze empty and lifeless, as if she were looking at him, yet not really looking at him.

Duan Jiufeng's smile vanished, replaced by a profound sense of panic. "Sister, please talk to me, what's wrong with you?"

Duan Jiufeng asked the little system anxiously, "What's wrong with my sister? Why did she become like this? Aren't you a system? Please save my sister!" In novels, systems are omnipotent.

"It's all because of you! When the host came back, he found you dead. He was like a madman, muttering to himself for a while, and then he ripped out his own heart. Waaaaah! What am I supposed to do now that the host has become like this?" The little system couldn't help but cry.

"Obsessed? Talking to yourself?" Duan Jiufeng's expression grew increasingly grim, each word he uttered seeming to pierce through one's heart like ice. "Willie! Come out! Was it you?!"

A cloud of black mist flew out of Arthur's body, slowly coalescing into a form exactly like the current Arthur; the two looked like twin brothers. However, Willie didn't have wings and wore a black robe.

“Arthur, you know me. I will admit what I did. I only said one sentence to her, and she insisted on digging out her dirty secrets for me. She even said that she would do anything I asked. I don’t even know her, and she’s making me look like a scumbag.”

Duan Jiufeng's face grew darker and darker as he listened, and the temperature around him seemed to drop several tens of degrees. Especially when he heard the sentence, "She will do whatever I ask," his anger reached its peak, and frost covered the little white bird's body.

Willie finally realized something was wrong, shut his mouth, and stopped talking.

It's my fault! I'm too charming! Every girl I meet is head over heels for me. Even Arthur's sister couldn't escape my charms.

Alas, I am utterly wicked, I am guilty beyond measure! Even such a lovely girl has fallen for my charm; hiding in the shadows was definitely the right choice.

"Little brother, didn't you say you were going to kill me? How come you got tripped up by someone?" Mi Le glanced at Qin Baobao. He recognized that person; she was the only one who brought him warmth.

Miler's eyes darkened for a moment, but quickly returned to normal.

"Do you want me to help you?" Miler raised the sword in his hand.

"You dare! Get as far away from me as possible while I don't want to kill you now! Otherwise, don't blame me for being impolite." Duan Jiufeng's eyes were filled with killing intent; anyone who dared to touch his sister would only face death.

"I'm going to have this guy! You like him, and so do I!" Miler thought resentfully. Why did he suffer for two hundred years, while Arthur could grow up with her? Even if he owed her a life, he had already repaid it over the past two hundred years.
