After Qin Baobao left, everyone's kind faces disappeared, and they all turned to look at Mi Le.

On such a dark and windy night, the way everyone looked at them was strangely eerie.

What can two weaklings and a bunch of kids do? Miler is no longer the same as before; he's completely bewildered and doesn't dare to fight back.

He licked his lips, and his whole body began to tremble. The thought of blood covering the ground filled him with excitement.

When he couldn't find food, he even ate corpses. Compared to bitter branches and leaves, human flesh was much tastier.

But... if I kill them, won't that person be angry? Miler was caught in a dilemma; he hadn't had enough of this comfortable place yet.

Arthur was prepared to teach Miler a lesson, but before he could even make a move, everyone's anger turned towards Miler.

Seeing Miler with her head down, trembling all over, looking pitiful, Arthur couldn't bring himself to bully her.

Remembering that Miler was cursed by the angel and had lived in torment for two hundred years, and now, having done nothing wrong, he was being ostracized by everyone, he simply pulled him to a corner room.

He absolutely cannot be allowed to get too close to the baby! He can only watch, loving but unable to have him, let him be his revenge! Arthur would never admit that he had softened his heart.

Miler was struggling in the mud, unsure of what to do, when suddenly someone pulled her up. Looking up, she saw the boy's beautiful face and the angry expression on it, and Miler was somewhat confused.

If you're angry, why not hit him? Or are you going to drag him into a corner and give him a good scolding?

fair enough.

If someone dies, when that person returns, they won't immediately be suspected.

"Go inside!" He would stop everyone from coming over, so that Miler wouldn't be bullied.

Go in? Go where? Inside the house?

Miler looked around; the location was secluded, in the very corner of the yard. Could it be that even here he wasn't comfortable, and needed to go inside before starting? What a cautious yet hypocritical fellow!

"No need, this place is remote enough!" Miler turned her head, ready to end it all.

"Grinning and chirping!"

A large hand pushed Miler into the house. Turning around, all she could see was the boy's departing figure.

……

Wasn't the plan to beat and scold him? Is this all? Miler was a little confused by this guy's baffling behavior.

who cares!

Miler stopped investigating and turned to disappear into the darkness.

In the quiet night, Miler lay in bed, tossing and turning, unable to fall asleep. Logically, after a good meal and in such a comfortable environment, he should be sound asleep, fully rested. But he felt something was missing, something tugging at his nerves, making it difficult to drift off.

"Boom"

The sound of a heavy object hitting the ground was quite abrupt in the quiet night. Even though the other person had tried to move quietly, it was still heard clearly.

Miler's eyes lit up immediately; he finally knew what he was missing.

Miler rolled to his feet and moved through the darkness. Like a swift cheetah, he was ready to tear his prey to shreds at any moment.

The guard chose a secluded, deserted corner, quickly climbed the city wall, and quietly jumped down. Despite his extreme caution, he still made quite a noise in the quiet night.

The guard was none other than Hill, who had followed Captain Kalin during the day. After jumping off the city wall, he quickly hid in the bushes. Looking around and finding the surroundings quiet and arousing no suspicion, he breathed a sigh of relief and emerged from the bushes.

He originally planned to deal with him after leaving the city lord's mansion, but unexpectedly, this jinx's face kept him tossing and turning, unable to sleep.

He had no choice but to climb over the wall in the middle of the night. As soon as he came out, he saw someone in front of him. The person had delicate features and fair skin, like an angel under the moon, hazy and unreal.

Hill was initially startled when he saw someone standing there, thinking he had been discovered. But upon recognizing the person, a surge of anger rose within him.

This jinx dares to scare me like that! I'll make you suffer in a minute!

Hill rushed forward and grabbed him, trying to drag him into the next room. "You little brat, you knew your grandpa was coming, and you're so impatient. You're such a lewd slut!"

He lowered his voice and whispered obscene words in Miler's ear. One hand mischievously pinched the soft flesh on her waist, eager to pin her down and ravage her.

Miler was momentarily confused by his words. What was this prey that had offered itself up saying? The pause was brief, but he immediately snapped out of it, broke free from his grip, and ran towards the more remote back door. He exited through the back door and entered an even darker area.

We can't make this place dirty, or we'll be kicked out.

The little creature's struggle annoyed him for a moment, but the thought of the angel crawling beneath him, wagging its tail and begging for mercy filled Hill with excitement, and he immediately chased after it.

Seeing how well-behaved he was, Hill specially chose the most secluded courtyard. He decided to reward him handsomely later by breaking his arms and legs, letting him experience ecstasy every day. Even if there was some noise in that place, no one would find out.

I wonder if the little jinx will starve to death if he doesn't eat? I can't wait to think about it!

Darkness concealed the blood and filth. In the remote courtyard of the city lord's mansion, occasional painful whimpers could be heard, like the calls of a kitten at night, but they were not clearly audible.

Qin Baobao rushed back to the city lord's mansion just in time to hear the sound. She listened intently, but there was no sound. Suspecting she was hallucinating, Qin Baobao descended from the sky and returned to her courtyard.

Suddenly, a pair of eyes appeared in the darkness, glanced at the spot where Qin Baobao had just been, and then slowly disappeared back into the darkness.

We should go back now, or we'll be discovered.

Miler didn't eat the flesh from this person; it was too dirty, and he found it disgusting.

When Qin Baobao returned, she immediately checked everyone. Everyone else was there, except for Qi Yunzi.

I just got it, and before I even had a chance to enjoy it, the luck charm is gone?

Qin Baobao blinked twice in disbelief.

"Where did that boy I brought back today go?" Qin Baobao realized that she didn't even know his name.

"Baby, he's probably tired! He should go back and rest. Don't blame him, he's still a child." Arthur subtly began to soothe him. Don't blame him; in love, victory is the only thing that matters.

A child? A real child calling an angel who has lived for who knows how many years a child a child. This was extremely strange, and Qin Baobao couldn't answer it.

"I'll go check on it." The thought of the sobbing she had just heard made her even more uneasy.

“Then I’ll go with you! This child might be a little shy. He doesn’t like to interact with people and lives in the most remote place.” Arthur was actually a little flustered. It was the first time in his life that he had done something wrong, and he was afraid that he would be exposed if he was not careful. Fortunately, that person could not speak.

There were a few rooms in the most remote corner, and Kiyuko chose the one closest to the back door. The place she stayed was indeed very remote.

"It's pitch black inside, they're probably asleep." Arthur knocked gently on the door, but there was no response.

Seeing Arthur's knocking, which sounded as gentle as a spring breeze, Qin Baobao knocked on the door a few times, but there was still no response from inside.

Qin Baobao grew increasingly uneasy and took out a flashlight from her spatial storage. She pushed open the door and searched the room thoroughly. The small room was completely empty; there was no trace of Qi Yunzi at all.

The luck factor has disappeared!
