Imprisoning the Black Moonlight

Chapter 53 The most ruthless imperial family

A girl's scream echoed from inside the animal park.

Pu Du, who was waiting outside, heard the noise and could no longer resist rushing inside, while his friend desperately tried to stop him.

"Pudu! Calm down, the master won't really do anything to the young mistress!" Luo Duo grabbed his collar. "How do you know this isn't just the master testing you?"

"Your father has military power, and your brother controls most of the country's telecommunications industry. You've got some nerve, daring to covet someone else's wife?"

"This is my home, and I am me! I can't stand by and watch her be bullied like this, get out of here!" Enraged, the boy ignored his friend's advice and kept rushing inside.

boom!

His friend, unable to bear it any longer, punched him. "This punch is to wake you up, Pudu. If you dare to rush in today, tomorrow the master will use your life to make your father hand over military power and your brother hand over financial power, understand?"

"Impossible!" the boy persisted. "The Pu family has been loyal to the Hong family for many years, and my father has always been devoted to them. There is no reason for you to do this, sir."

"Hmph!" Luo Duo sneered, "Don't be naive. The most ruthless are those in the imperial family. The teacher is different from us second-generation soldiers. He has been learning about politics, power struggles, and interpersonal relationships since he was a child. These things are useless to people like him!"

After Prince Hagnau's affair, the Prime Minister became estranged from you, sir. Now, only by holding military power can you guarantee that no one dares to touch him, or anyone who dares to touch him, understand?

"What do you mean?" Pudu asked coldly, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth.

"I heard it from my brother-in-law. The gentleman is too cold-blooded towards Hagnau. Some in the cabinet are afraid that the gentleman's rise to power will be detrimental to them, and they want to force the Prime Minister to abandon him and use the second son instead!" Rodo handed a cigarette to his good friend and scoffed.

"You're all a bunch of idiots! The Master has already established his power, and he has the former Prime Minister and Mrs. Vanilla behind him. Looking at the entire J country, no one can touch him! I advise you to go back and persuade your father that if you want to live, you should stay away from the Master!"

"You mean, my father is among those who support the second young master?" Pudu looked at his friend, who was smoking with his head down, in disbelief.

"Otherwise, given Mr. Pu's temper, he would have shot you dead the first time you got close to Madam. Why would he have kept you alive until now? You don't really think Mr. Pu is afraid of the Pu family, do you?"

Putu was greatly alarmed and could not calm down for a long time. If what Rhodo said was true, then this man was truly terrifying.

"The gentleman has only been back in the country for half a year, and no one has seen his true abilities. But today's performance is more than just a warning shot. Everyone in the manor, including the young mistress, who has any ulterior motives, will have to shut up!"

His friend's words lingered in his ears, leaving Pudu standing there, lost and bewildered.

The animal enclosure reeked of a foul odor, and the brutal killings continued. One life after another was thrown in, and within five minutes, the animals were lifeless. Blood seeped from the gaps in the cages, flowing along the edges of the steel pillars, forming thin streams that trickled out through the cement grooves. The nauseating smell of blood permeated the air. Yao Gongyue squatted on the ground, wishing she could vomit her guts out. No matter how much she cried and begged, the man refused to let her leave.

"Baby, have some water!" The man walked over, patted her slender back that was bent like a shrimp, and held the water glass to her lips.

The girl took the water glass, took a sip, and when she looked up, her face was deathly pale, her lips were white, and she stared at the man with hateful eyes, "Is that enough?"

"Not enough, baby!" He said calmly, patting her pale face before sitting back down and lighting a cigarette. "Go, let Jinjin out!"

"What are you doing?" Yao Gongyue was shocked. This madman, he has completely gone mad.

"Baby, you never remember what I say. Didn't I tell you? Jinjin is a ferocious beast. You've never seen Jinjin kill someone, have you? Today I'll show you! Let's give you a good thrill!"

"No!" Almost instinctively, she refused. The thought of that bloody scene made her hair stand on end. In the cage not far away, the tiger was still eating. Although she kept her eyes closed the whole time, the screams and the sound of bones being chewed to pieces, the stench of blood spreading through her nose, had already reached her limit. If she had to watch Jinjin eat people again, she would really break down.

"Hong Jin, you can't do this to me!" The girl ignored everything and rushed into the man's arms, burying her head in his chest. Not satisfied, she unbuttoned the front of his shirt and stuffed her entire head inside. "Don't even think about disgusting me again. If you dare to pull me out, I'll bite you to death!"

The girl's cool lips pressed tightly against his chest, the man's chest bulging. She curled up like a cat, her restless little hands reaching out to tug at his ear. "Oppa, I really know I was wrong, really, please, please, sob sob..."

A hint of life finally appeared on the cold-hearted man's face, and he gave a barely perceptible twitch of his lips. "Don't you want any more excitement?"

"No more, really no more, waaaah, you dog of a man, you're ruthless!" She hummed, her aggrieved voice coming from the man's heart, both itchy and tingling.

"Good girl!" Hong Jin patted the head of the whimpering girl with satisfaction, got up, and carried her away.

The people standing by breathed a sigh of relief. The young lady's coquettish manner was too alluring. They were all bachelors who had been single for a long time. Who the hell could resist it? It was even more painful than going into a cage and fighting a tiger.

Upon exiting the animal enclosure, the man saw Pudu standing at the entrance, head drooping like a defeated and trapped beast. He narrowed his dark eyes, raised an eyebrow in disdain, and said, "You're smart, kid. We'll spare the lives of the hundred or so members of the Pu family for now."

An inconspicuous car repair shed in the suburbs.

Inside the small room, smoke curled around. The man sitting on the bamboo sofa looked disheveled, his black military boots covered in mud, with cigarette butts piled up at his feet.

Little Moon left in a huff, and he chased after her not long after. There was only one main road, so it should have been easy to catch up with her, but he drove until dawn and reached the nearby city, but still didn't see her.

The road was lined with villages and deep forests. Fearing that something might have happened to her, they sent their men to search along the road for several days, but she seemed to have vanished into thin air. Despite sending so many people out, they couldn't find a single trace of her.

"Moon, moon, where did you go? Why are you angry? Why did you leave?" Nuohan murmured dejectedly, tilting his head back, closing his eyes, and leaning against the back of the sofa chair, his mind filled with her image.

"No!" Suddenly, the man sprang up from the sofa as if possessed. "I must find her. She's so beautiful. What if she runs into bad people..."

Thinking of this, the man, who had only been back for less than an hour, rushed out the door again and ran outside like a madman. The rain was pouring down and the wind was howling, but he seemed oblivious to it all.

"Ah Han! Calm down!" Runpa chased after him and grabbed him. "Miss Moon isn't some ignorant country bumpkin. She's not so easily bullied. She's Chinese. Maybe she's already found her family and returned home!"

The rain was icy cold, pouring over his face. The crazed man wiped his face and mechanically looked into the distance. "Back...back to the country? Does that mean we'll never see each other again?"

He was like a soulless zombie, letting his friend pull him back to the repair shop.

"Runpa!" Nuohan grabbed the towel draped over his head and looked at his friend. "I'm going to find her! I'll kill Hong Jin, and once the contract expires, I'll go to China to find her!"
