Imprisoning the Black Moonlight

Chapter 33 won't do, Yuebao, let's get another one.

No one would have imagined that the usually diligent eldest son would one day slack off. When the secretariat staff in the office area received the news that the afternoon meeting had been canceled, they were all in disbelief.

Although they were nominally on temporary assignment in the Secretariat of the Prime Minister's Office, everyone knew that Hung Chin-cho was their superior. Although he was too young and his sudden entry into the cabinet was bound to cause controversy, those who had been in contact with the eldest son knew that his methods were even more shrewd than the Prime Minister's.

Everyone had their own thoughts and wanted to find out the reason for today's unexpected situation, but the secretary-general shut them down with a single look.

Luxurious bedroom.

Yao Gongyue clung to Hong Jin like a koala, refusing to get down, and even needed him to serve her water.

"Yuebao, come down first, I'll spray some more medicine on you!" The man smiled, coaxing the little thing clinging to him helplessly.

"No!" Yao Gongyue twisted her slender waist, refusing to let him leave.

"Listen to me, you need to spray medicine on your foot, otherwise it will still hurt tonight!"

"No!" she said, completely irrational.

Hong Jin naturally saw through her little scheme and sighed, "Speak! What do you want now?"

Yao Gongyue then released the man's neck, her cunning eyes looking at him innocently, "Your stinky snake almost scared me to death, you have to compensate me for my emotional distress!"

Hong Jin remained expressionless, raised his chin, and gestured for her to continue.

"This fairy is honest and trustworthy!" She shamelessly moved closer to the man, extending a slender, white index finger. "One minute! I'll just make a one-minute phone call to tell Da Jiao and Xiao Jiao that I'm fine and to put their minds at ease!"

The man lowered his gaze to the slender white fingers that were now before him, his dark eyes filled with a deep, brooding intensity. He pursed his thin lips and shook his head. "No, Yuebao, get another one!"

Yao Gongyue's face instantly turned cold, her clear eyes fixed on the man. "Why? I've been missing for so long, they must be terrified. Do you want to force my family to their deaths?"

Hong Jin held her delicate white hand in his large hand and patiently comforted her, "Yuebao, don't worry, I won't let anything happen to them, it's just not the right time yet!"

"What do you mean 'not the right time'? 'Not when'? Hong Jin, I may have toyed with your feelings, but you also raped me. By any measure, you haven't lost out. What more do you want?"

Her face flushed red with anger, her full chest heaved, and her almond-shaped eyes shimmered with tears, but she bit her lower lip hard to stop herself from crying.

She'd tried everything – making a scene, giving in, even begging – but this jerk was acting like a completely different person. His old tricks, which used to work every time, were now completely useless. She was driven to the brink of madness with frustration.

"Yueyue!" Hong Jin spoke in a stern voice, his eyes turning cold as he looked at the girl before him with a sinister gaze. "You need to understand, now, you are mine! You'd better not have any thoughts you shouldn't have!"

The man pulled her back into his arms with his large hand, and warned her in a deep voice, "I can spoil you and indulge you, but that doesn't mean you can play tricks on me under my nose."

He moved closer and closer, his thin lips brushing against her delicate, fair earlobe, his long, handsome hand patting her rosy cheek. "There are some methods I don't want to use on you, but you have to be good, understand?"

He was like a cold-blooded animal; every word he uttered carried a chilling, bone-deep coldness that made one's scalp tingle.

The Hong Jin before her was even more terrifying than the golden python. Yao Gongyue froze, motionless. If it weren't for the familiar scent, she would have even suspected that Hong Jin had been under some kind of evil spell and had his soul replaced. He was completely different from the gentle and noble man from Country Y.

"You, you don't scare me... I, I'm scared..." Her lips trembled slightly, her limbs stiffened, and she sobbed shakily.

"You little coward!" Hong Jin couldn't bear to see her suffer so much, so he smiled indulgently and pulled her into his arms. "Then be a good girl! I'll take you back home after the wedding!"

"Marriage?" She sprang out from the man's chest, her bright eyes filled with astonishment.

“I know this is what you care about most. Don’t worry, Yuebao, I will keep my promise to marry you properly!” After he finished speaking, he got up and went to get the medicine.

Yao Gongyue sat there, lost in thought for a long time.

The man she likes makes her his mistress, while the man she doesn't like forces her to stay and marry him. What kind of messed-up world is this?

She sneered, "Hong Jin, do you think that this will make me forgive your evil deeds of forcibly imprisoning and harming me?"

……

Hong Jin stayed by Yao Gongyue's side all afternoon, coaxing her to take her medicine and drink water. Although she still appeared obedient and sweet on the surface, Hong Jin could see deep sadness in her beautiful, watery eyes.

He dared not make it clear, nor did he dare to force anything further. He knew better than anyone how much Yuebao hated being forced, but he was used to being domineering and powerful. From childhood to adulthood, he had never failed to get what he wanted. Moreover, he loved her so deeply, how could he possibly let go?

It's okay, she's just having trouble accepting it right now. You two dated for a year, so you have a solid emotional foundation. She's just angry with herself. Once she realizes that you still love her as much as before, she'll get over it.

Hong Jin comforted herself and then put another ice pack on her foot.

A knock on the door sounded at this moment.

"Come in!" The man stood up and sat on the edge of the bed. The maid, Xiaobai, came in.

"Sir!" She lowered her head, not daring to look at anyone. The way the master was angry today was terrifying; none of the servants in the main building dared to approach him.

She spoke fluent Mandarin and was the youngest, so no one dared to offend her. She was pushed to the butler's side by a few seasoned veterans and became a maid to serve the young mistress.

"Speak!" Hong Jin didn't look towards the door, but coldly uttered a single word.

"The housekeeper sent me to ask you, Jinjin refuses to eat and keeps banging against its cage, it's bleeding from the impact. Can we let it out?" Xiaobai trembled, constantly shrinking towards the door.

"Let it crash! If it dies, just bury it somewhere!" Hong Jin's calm voice was almost cold-blooded. "It's just an animal, trying to threaten me!"

Xiao Bai almost thought she was hallucinating. Jin Jin was the master's most precious pet, the most intelligent. When the master was in a good mood, Jin Jin could even sleep in the master's bedroom. This treatment was something that other pets in the rooftop pet room could not compare to. What was going on today? Just because the young mistress was frightened, she wanted to kill Jin Jin?

"Are you deaf? Do as I say!" He rubbed Yao Gongyue's ankle with his large hand and spoke coldly.

"If you want to make an example of someone, you don't have to actually risk that stinky python's life!" Yao Gongyue rolled her eyes and pulled her foot out of the man's hand.

"It's only been one day, and you've already gotten rid of the kitchen maid and are going to kill that stinky snake. You're really going to go to great lengths to make me obey!" The girl's pretty face was tinged with sarcasm.

Hong Jin looked at her with such resentment, unable to speak. He couldn't very well say that there were his mother's people in the kitchen, and that a suspected spy had infiltrated. He had let it go before because he thought those people couldn't cause any trouble, but now that she was here, he couldn't leave any hidden dangers.

As for Jinjin, that dog is very afraid of death. I was sure it wouldn't actually kill itself or starve to death. I just wanted to teach it a lesson. Who knew Yuebao would be so suspicious?

"Hey pretty girl, could you please bring that stinky snake over here?" Yao Gongyue waved to Xiaobai at the door.

To her, Hong Jin was no different from that cold-blooded python. Since being afraid was useless, she would force herself to get to know him and understand him. Even tigers have their moments of weakness. As long as she was alive, she would always find an opportunity.
