Imprisoning the Black Moonlight

Chapter 220 Yuri is missing

Yao Gongyue video chatted with her mother and aunt for half an hour. Around 10 o'clock, she finished taking a shower and came out wrapped in a bath towel.

She doesn't like blow-drying her hair; she usually just wipes it until it's no longer dripping wet and then lets it air dry naturally.

I changed into a nightgown and was leisurely sitting on the bed applying a face mask when Yu Lili's video call came in.

"Yuebao, guess who I just saw? Damn it, I'm telling you... um~"

Yulili had only spoken half of her sentence when the video suddenly went dark and was then disconnected; the entire process lasted less than a second.

Yao Gongyue paused, holding her phone, and dialed again, but no one answered. She tried calling again, but no one picked up.

I ripped off the face mask, then realized something was wrong; something might have happened to Lily.

She sat on the bed, thought and thought, and finally found "Big Wood's" phone number and dialed it.

The call kept ringing until the notification tone sounded, but no one answered.

I tried two times, and both times the result was the same.

The girl pursed her lips, put away her phone, quickly changed her clothes, picked up her bag, and went out.

-

Queen, the penthouse suite.

The group of men and women sitting in front of them were consumed by lust, their actions reckless, and their wild and obscene sounds were unbearable to hear.

The man, half-hidden on the sofa in a dark corner, looked up with his eyes closed, quietly waiting for midnight to fall.

The action team he sent out was to carry out a sniping mission at midnight tonight. He was going to wait here for his men to bring over the head of the S gang so he could arrange the takeover of this gang.

Rebecca was unaware of the man's purpose and assumed that although he was cold, his willingness to stay meant that she could get close to him.

That waiter was incredibly audacious; he peeked at him the moment he came in, his eyes practically glued to him.

The young lady is intolerant of any infidelity, especially when it comes to the man she loves so desperately. With a simple message, someone will naturally step in to handle the situation.

Yao Gongyue's appearance at the Queen's first-floor bar caused quite a stir.

The unadorned girl possessed both Western bone structure and Eastern features, her beauty like that of an angel descended to earth. Her long, slightly wavy black hair, like seaweed, was casually draped over her shoulders. Her eyes, clear and bright, were as pure as a forest deer's, looking around anxiously and bewildered. Her every glance stirred a primal protective instinct within the male bloodline.

"Sweetheart, do you need help?"

A friendly blond man stepped forward, gave her a gentlemanly smile, and asked her.

Yao Gongyue gave him a cold look, said nothing, and continued walking inside.

The man raised an eyebrow and smiled, then caught up with him. "Sweetheart, I'm Jack, a VIP here. I can help you with anything you need."

"Then please stay away from me!" the girl finally said impatiently.

Suddenly, Yao Gongyue finally saw Xue Li coming out of the elevator. She was Lili's fellow villager and the one who introduced Lili to work here.

"Shirley, do you know where Lily went?" Yao Gongyue stepped forward and pulled the woman, who also looked anxious.

“I’m looking for her too. She promised to cover my shift, but she disappeared somewhere. I got caught and was penalized with this month’s bonus. Yuli is such an unreliable person.”

Yao Gongyue's eyes turned cold. "Covering up a shift? Covering up which shift?"

"It's the VIP room on the top floor. I already promised to tip her. Those are the young lady's VIP guests, they're very generous. I don't know what Yulili was thinking."

Yao Gongyue was too lazy to waste words with her and went straight into the elevator. Only after entering did she realize that this elevator could not reach the top floor at all.

"Shirley, what's going on? This elevator won't go up to the top floor."

"You have to go up to the 29th floor first. After your identity is checked by security, you can go up the stairs to the top floor. However, Yueyue, you can't go to the top floor. Only the most powerful and wealthy can go there."

Yao Gongyue ignored her, went back in, and pressed the button for the 29th floor.

News of the girl forcing her way to the top floor quickly reached the manager's ears. He was personally accompanying the boss's friend's son and had no choice but to put on a smiling face.

"Young Master Liang, I'm sorry, I'll go take care of it!"

Ah Liang was forced by his family to come here to investigate and learn about the business model. The professional jargon the manager used gave him a headache.

"Perfect timing, my brain is about to explode, I'll go with you and join in the fun."

When the group arrived at the door, Yao Gongyue was arguing with the bodyguard captain. The delicate and soft-spoken girl didn't speak fluent English, but her sweet and gentle tone was inexplicably enough to make people's legs go weak. The young Asian-looking bodyguard captain even deliberately provoked her, wanting to hear her scold him.

"What's going on?" The manager's face turned cold as he looked at the bodyguard captain, who was clearly going easy on the little girl, and asked.

No sooner had he finished speaking than Young Master Liang rushed forward, "Miss Yao, is it really you? Am I dreaming?"

Yao Gongyue looked at the man who greeted her and felt that he looked familiar, but she couldn't remember where she had seen him before. She pursed her lips, glanced at him, and turned her face away, not wanting to talk to the stranger.

"Miss Yao, it's me, A-Liang, the boxer A-Liang. Remember me? We met just a few days ago!"

"Oh! It's you." She finally remembered this person and replied indifferently.

"Miss Yao, what brings you here? Is there anything I can do for you?" Compared to her indifference, Ah Liang was clearly much more excited.

Upon hearing this, a glint of light flashed in the girl's bright eyes, and her attitude was no longer as cold as before. She turned her head and asked, "Can you help me get in here? My best friend is missing, and I suspect something might have happened to her. I want to go in and look for her."

Upon hearing this, the manager's expression immediately changed. Her friend? Could it be the waiter that the young lady had ordered to be dealt with?

Yao Gongyue was absent-minded about small things, but shrewd about important matters. She immediately noticed the manager's subtle changes in expression and sensed something was amiss. Her eyes darkened, and a plan formed in her mind. She winked at A-Liang, feigning grievance.

"Brother Liang, they're all bad people. They bullied me and wouldn't let me in. What should I do? She's my only good friend... Waaaaah..."

The little vixen's crying was so alluring that not only Ah Liang, but also the bodyguard captain standing next to her felt his Adam's apple bob involuntarily, a tingling sensation spreading from the soles of his feet to his scalp.

"Don't cry, don't cry, little Yueyue. Brother Liang will take you inside to find your friends. If anyone dares to stop you, I'll kill them." Liang said, carefully taking her hand.

The little imp smiled mischievously, "Thank you, Brother Liang. You're so kind, Brother Liang."

The manager was about to step forward to stop him, but was startled by a glare from the man and retreated.

This guy is not to be trifled with. He is said to be the eldest grandson of the Prince of Thailand and a celebrity among the top noble sons in Southeast Asia. Other young men like luxury cars and beautiful women, or money and power, but he is different. He is obsessed with fighting at a young age and often sneaks to underground fighting arenas to pretend to be a poor boy and fight. He has almost been beaten to death several times.

My family has been worried about this a lot. These past few days, they suddenly had the idea to start a business, and this is only the first day they've come to investigate. If they offend the boss, he'll be skinned alive.

Yao Gongyue had been observing the manager's expression out of the corner of her eye. Seeing him secretly take out his phone, she quickly tugged at A Liang's sleeve and said in a voice only the two of them could hear,

"Brother Liang, this manager is suspicious. He might be secretly tipping off others. Can you help me control him?"

Ah Liang's mind was filled with images of the fairy girl approaching him and whispering secrets to him. His hands moved faster than his brain; he grabbed the manager by the throat and dragged him into a corner. "You dare to play tricks on me right under my nose?"
