Imprisoning the Black Moonlight

Chapter 131 You have to be mine, mine alone.

A dozen minutes later, the man came in carrying a bowl of egg noodles.

"Moon, come and eat something, don't go hungry!"

The room was quiet. The girl sitting on the edge of the bed hesitated to move. The aroma of food slowly wafted under the white light, arousing her rumbling stomach.

Nuohan looked at her delicate features without saying a word. He took the bowl, walked to the bedside, picked up a mouthful of noodles, and fed it to her. "Even if you want to be angry with me, you have to eat your fill before you have the strength to hit me, right? Otherwise, you'll faint all the time. I'm not a gentleman."

She hesitated for a moment, then couldn't resist the temptation of the food. She opened her mouth, took a bite, and chewed delicately.

"How does it taste?" he asked casually, looking down at her eyes and brows.

"It doesn't taste good!" Even if what was being put into her mouth was the finest nectar, that would still be her only opinion.

The man seemed to have expected this, and smiled faintly, "Then I'll learn something else next time."

Yao Gongyue didn't reply. She tried to take the bowl, but it was too hot. So she used the man's big hand as a bowl holder and ate with chopsticks.

He seemed oblivious to the heat, not even moving an inch, letting her lower her head in front of him as she reluctantly ate the bowl of noodles.

How can she be so cute even when she's angry?

After finishing her meal, a wave of weariness washed over her. It was already past midnight, and she could barely keep her eyes open. But the metal bunk bed was hard and ugly, and the sheets were old and worn. She really couldn't lie down. With a forced smile, she stammered, "Nuohan, shall I sleep here tonight?"

The man's dark eyes were deep, his fingertips unconsciously twitched slightly, and his voice was hoarse beyond belief. "Wait for me a moment, I'll take you to rest after I've finished making the arrangements."

After he finished speaking, he went out the door and came back in half an hour later with a thin blanket. He draped it over her shoulders and said, "It's a bit chilly outside, put this on." Then he took her hand and led her outside.

"Where are you taking me?" Outside were mountains, a cold wind was blowing, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, and the quiet made people feel even more uneasy.

"Go to my home, it's not far, just a few steps away." The two walked along the narrow path, around the military camp, and entered the village next to it. The village was full of low houses in the Southeast Asian style. At the end of the path, there was a very conspicuous villa, which was somewhat Khmer in style and incorporated local architectural elements, making it very artistic.

"We've arrived!" The man pressed his fingerprint to open the door, led her inside, and the guards on both sides of the door saluted respectfully. Once inside, the servants had already prepared slippers and stood on both sides to greet them.

"Go and rest!" Nuohan said, squatting down to change Yao Gongyue's shoes and putting pink slippers on her feet. "The bedroom is on the second floor. I had someone bring your things and put them in the bathroom. If you're sleepy, go and rest, okay?"

Yao Gongyue looked at him, seemed about to say something, but ultimately gave up, said "thank you" in dejection, and turned to go upstairs.

Nuohan sat motionless on the living room sofa, his face dark, like a dead tree stump.

A dozen minutes later, the phone in my pocket rang. I pressed the answer button.

"You've gone back to the military camp?" It was his uncle's voice on the other end.

"Hmm!" he managed to squeeze out a perfunctory syllable, too lazy to open his mouth.

"What happened?"

"fine!"

"Why don't you just stay peacefully in Thailand? Northern Myanmar is unstable right now, what are you doing there?"

"go home!"

"Would it kill you to say a few more words? Get back to Thailand tomorrow. The new prime minister's son is going to take action against the local armed groups in northern Myanmar to boost his father's prestige. Stop meddling!"

"Who?"

"Wu Meng, alright, don't worry about these things anymore. I'll arrange for you to join the army in a while. Don't mess around then, do a good job, and take over my job in the future!"

"When did Myanmar become a shogunate? Besides, even if it were a shogunate, there's no reason for a nephew to inherit his uncle's power. You can have your own son take over your power; I don't care!"

"You have half Bai family blood in your veins, so I have an obligation to take care of you. Some things you can't refuse just because you don't care about them. For example, you didn't want to take Hagenu's surname, but you had no choice, did you? Preserving the honor of the Bai family is also your responsibility. Your uncle is old and his body was crippled in the war. You are the only descendant of the Bai family, Ahan. You have no choice."

There was a long silence on the other end of the phone. The man's large hand gripping the phone tightened, his knuckles turning white. Finally, without saying a word, he hung up and went upstairs.

After taking a shower, I lay on the bed in the second bedroom, tossing and turning, unable to fall asleep. Suddenly, I turned over and sat up in bed.

No, that's not right.

Wu Meng wasn't trying to gain prestige for his father; he was trying to steal women for his brother.

They're coming to steal the moon!

Nuohan's dark eyes were sinister and ruthless. He took out his phone and notified the military camp to enter a state of combat readiness, as the enemy was likely to launch a night attack.

Not enough, this is not enough. The moon's heart is not here. She will go with Hong Jin. We can't let her go. We have to cut off her escape route.

...

Yao Gongyue was already having trouble sleeping in an unfamiliar place. Although her eyes were closed, she remained somewhat conscious. When she heard the bedroom door open, her whole body tensed up, and she instantly opened her eyes, gripping the thin blanket tightly with both hands, and turned to look at the door.

The man took two steps to the bedside and suddenly pulled her into his arms. "Moon, will you be my woman?"

Every pore on her body felt like it was about to explode; her scalp tingled, all sleepiness vanished, and her cherry lips trembled uncontrollably. "No, no, I, I don't want to, you can't touch me."

"No, you can't refuse me, Moon. I need you, or someone will take you away." He said, trying to lower his head and kiss away the tears of fear on her face, but Yao Gongyue turned her head away desperately, not letting him touch her.

The man's dark eyes were deep, he gritted his teeth, and with a fierce look, he began to unbutton her pajamas.

"Nuohan, if you dare touch me, Hong Jin will kill you, he will definitely kill you." She was trembling with fear, like a fish that had just been pulled out of the water, kicking her legs desperately, flailing her arms wildly, and struggling haphazardly.

"Fine, let him come. Who kills whom is still uncertain!" Nuohan gritted his teeth, enduring the intense, dull pain in his heart. His eyes reddened, but he refused to give up. "Be good, don't struggle. What if you get hurt?"

"No, that's terrible." Yao Gongyue's chest heaved violently as she gasped for breath, her eyes filled with intense hatred as she stared at him. "I'm not a commodity, not something you can buy and then trample on at will. If you dare touch me today, I'll die right here tomorrow. Even if I die, Hong Jin and Wu Meng won't let you off the hook."

The man braced himself on his arms on either side of her, his reddened eyes fixed on her with a mixture of obsession, gloom, and intense possessiveness. "Then—let's give it a try!"

As he spoke, he ripped off her nightgown, leaving her in only a bra and panties underneath. The girl's fair and delicate body was beautiful and alluring, burning away all of the man's reason. "Moon, my moon, you have to be mine, mine alone."

"No~ you bastard~" Yao Gongyue desperately pulled the thin blanket over herself, goosebumps rising all over her body. Tears welled up in her eyes as she cried out in despair, "Don't touch me, go away..."

"Hong Jin, Hong Jin, come and save me..."

When the man heard her call Hong Jin, he lost all his last shred of reason and his voice was hoarse as he hissed, "Shut up. Yue Liang, don't push me."

Yao Gongyue trembled, bit her lip, and curled up into a ball, looking aggrieved.

Seeing her broken, tearful eyes, he finally couldn't bear it and pulled her into his arms. "Don't cry, I'll go slower, okay?"

He had barely finished speaking when he felt the person in his arms stiffen, and he frowned as he looked at her. "What's wrong?"

"I, I, I got my period..." she sobbed, feeling relieved but looking even more aggrieved. "It's all your fault, you scared me so much that my period is irregular."

The man was both amused and exasperated. He stared at her, feeling a mix of sadness and amusement. Finally, he gritted his teeth and got out of bed. "I'll call someone to clean up. You stay here and don't move."
