[The Human World]

Wang Mo is a fifth-grade student at Elite Elementary School. On this day, she had just finished school and was walking home alone when she came to a road lined with flowers on both sides.

What Wang Mo found strange was that, even though it was summer, the petals were falling one after another, as if they were alive, fluttering and swirling around her.

"Wow~ Such beautiful petals." Wang Mo was, after all, just over ten years old. Having never seen such a peculiar sight before, she was immediately captivated.

The petals seemed to be intentionally drawing Wang Mo towards a certain place, and captivated by their beauty and curiosity, she followed them without a second thought.

The petals passed through a narrow alley, a place Wang Mo often passed by on her way to and from school, but she had never noticed it before.

"I wonder what's on the other side of the alley."

Seeing the pink light coming from the other end of the alley, and guided by the petals, Wang Mo thought for a moment and then decided without hesitation to cross the alley to see what was on the other side.

Unlike the narrow alley, Wang Mo squeezed her way through and arrived at an open space. Her attention was immediately drawn to the pink villa in the distance—the Ye Luoli Doll Shop.

"Where is this place?" Wang Mo was stunned for a moment, then saw the dolls displayed in the outermost window of the first floor of the Ye Luoli doll shop—

Her jet-black hair was styled into a long braid, and she wore a gold and red hair crown. She was dressed in a red and gold ancient-style long dress, which was exquisite and gorgeous.

Her eyes were fiery red, and there was a small red lotus totem between her eyebrows. She wore an elegant and composed expression, and looked incomparably beautiful.

"Wow, what a beautiful doll! I've never seen such a big doll before!" Wang Mo's eyes widened in amazement.

Wang Mo's background was not noble; in fact, she was born into a relatively poor family. So, this was the first time she had ever seen a doll like this, and she was truly shocked.

Wang Mo ran to the shop window, touched the glass with both hands, and wanted to get a closer look at the doll: "I've never seen such a beautiful doll before. I love it so much, I want to hug it."

Wang Mo couldn't touch the doll that she had fallen in love with at first sight, so she decided to go into the doll shop to take a look.

I wonder what the store looks like inside. Shall we go in and take a look?

After some thought, Wang Mo finally made up her mind.

Perhaps because the sun was setting, the doll shop's door was closed, but Wang Mo tried pushing it and easily opened it.

Upon entering the doll shop, Wang Mo was immediately attracted by the exquisite and tasteful furnishings. As she walked, she looked around, admiring the beautiful shop.

In the center of the store, there is a retro-style display window, which displays many dolls, each with its own unique characteristics, but all of them are indescribably exquisite.

Wang Mo stared wide-eyed.

But at that moment, the flower petals she had met on the road somehow entered the shop and continued to guide her toward the back of the shop.

Wang Mo followed closely behind the petals, passing through a beaded curtain before arriving at the back room.

In the center of the room was a counter, and next to the counter was a chair with its back to Wang Mo. At this moment, the other side of the chair was flashing a peculiar light.

"Life's affairs are like a rootless tree, its flowers blooming in their quiet beauty. All things originate from it, merging with its light and dust. A kind heart, bound by karmic connections, endures forever..."

Wang Mo heard a woman's voice reciting a difficult incantation, so he curiously went closer to watch.

A woman was sitting on the chair. She was wearing a black cheongsam with small floral patterns. Her long black hair was tied up in a bun with a gold hairpin. On her lap was an open, somewhat old-looking book.

A beam of light emanated from the woman's hands, and in the center of the light was a small doll, floating silently.

"Is this some kind of levitation technique?" Wang Mo looked at the floating doll and couldn't help but feel curious.

She had only ever seen amazing magic tricks on TV before, and this was her first time seeing one live, so she was very amazed.

"Ye Luoli Magic!" The woman conjured a ball of magical light in her hand and poured it into the finished doll: "I bestow upon you the spirit of a Ye Luoli fairy, the contract is established!"

Then the purple-haired doll opened its eyes, stared straight at Wang Mo who was peeking, and suddenly said, "We have a guest!"

"Huh? The doll is talking?!" Wang Mo was so startled by the doll that she took several steps back and accidentally kicked a porcelain vase placed against the wall.

With a loud crash, the vase shattered.

By the way, I can really relate to the description of Wang Mo seeing the doll in the text. After all, I also came from a poor family. If I had seen such a doll at that age, I probably would have wanted to stick my eyes to it too.
