"Slap!" Shang's mother put down her things and the child and slapped Shang Guokang. "Your mother isn't dead yet. It's not your place to ask questions here."

What Shang Guokang just said could easily be misinterpreted, leading people to believe that he didn't want her sister to live here.

"No, no. It's all up to Mom and Dad. Stay, stay, stay. Stay as long as you want," Shang Guohua quickly begged for mercy.

The others were much smarter than Shang Guokang; they learned most of the information from him without asking directly.

The night was very peaceful, and Shang Yanfang got up very early the next day.
