When Li Bai woke up at the inn, it was already past seven in the morning, much later than when he was at Qingcheng Mountain. Li Bai had a habit of morning exercise and early reading, and he immediately regretted getting drunk the night before.

After we finished breakfast and tidied up, Li Bai and Wu Zhinan were still discussing the matters they had discussed the night before.

"Young master, I've already checked out of the room and it's time to go home," I interrupted them.

Ziyi and I left the inn, led out our horses, and waited at the entrance for Li Bai and Wu Zhinan to emerge. Suddenly, a carriage approached from the opposite direction, and a man jumped down. He was about fifty years old, burly, and dressed in a coarse blue cloth robe. He quickly ran to Ziyi and scooped her up in his arms. "Son, you've grown so tall; your father can't carry you anymore."

"Father!" the woman in purple cried out excitedly, her voice trembling with tears. She didn't know what to say.

At this moment, Li Bai and Wu Zhinan came out.

The man hurriedly stepped forward and greeted him, "Young Master, you're back."

"Uncle Lu, how did you know we were back?" It turned out that this person was Ziyi's father, Uncle Lu.

"Many people know that you were drinking at the Linjiang Restaurant last night. This morning, the news reached the master's ears, and he asked me to come and pick you up." Uncle Lu held Ziyi's hand tightly and refused to let go.

I rode on my horse and looked up at Longxi Courtyard.

Longxi Academy is located in the southeast of Qinglian Town, nestled against Tianbao Mountain and facing the Fu River, a place of scenic beauty and auspicious feng shui. In front of the academy stands a lifelike stone statue of a shepherd boy riding an ox, full of childlike charm. The magnificent gatehouse boasts upturned eaves and a striking brown-yellow wall. Below the gatehouse, a pair of stone lions guard the entrance, their expressions endearing. Above the gatehouse, the three characters "Longxi Academy" are carved and inscribed, and couplets adorn the door.

Upon reaching the entrance, I quickly jumped off my horse.

At this moment, a young and beautiful girl stepped out from the crowd. She wore light makeup, her face was as beautiful as a peach blossom, she had an oval face, big eyes, a graceful figure, and a pair of slender hands. She was supporting an elderly man who was slightly plump, wearing a turban, and had a prosperous appearance.

Li Bai alighted from the carriage and knelt before the old man with a thud: "Father, your unfilial son has been unable to stay by your side for so many years."

"It's good that you're back." The old man reached out and helped Li Bai up.

"Brother, we miss you so much. Especially Mom, she talks about you every day," the girl next to her said.

"Sister, where is Mother?" Li Bai greeted the people around him while looking around in the crowd.

"Mother is sick, so we didn't let her come out," Li Bai's sister said.

"How serious is it? Have you called a doctor?" Li Bai asked anxiously.

"It's alright, just can't be exposed to the wind," Li Bai's father replied.

Li Bai reached out to help his father up and called me to him: "Yuehua, this is my father, and this girl is my younger sister, Yueyuan. Father, this is my page, Yuehua."

"Sir, Miss, hello." I greeted them politely.

Li Bai's father and sister scrutinized me closely: "You look like a girl, a bit too delicate. It would be better if you were stronger."

Just then, Zi Yi ran over: "Master, Miss, I missed you so much."

Li Bai's father and sister simultaneously opened their arms to embrace Zi Yi: "Our little Zi Yi has grown up, into a little man. We missed you too. It's good to see you back. Come on, let's go home."

Surrounded by everyone, we headed home. Once inside, Li Bai rushed to the backyard: "Mother, I'm home!"

"Is that Bai'er back? Aunt Lu, please help me up, I can hear Bai'er's voice."

"Madam, I heard that too. Let me help you out of bed and sit in a chair."

Aunt Lu spread a quilt on the chair and helped the lady sit down.

As soon as he sat down, Li Bai entered the room. He knelt down, walked to his wife, and lay down on her lap: "Mother, I've missed you so much."

The lady wiped away her tears and stroked Li Bai's head, saying, "Bai'er, your mother misses you too! But I dare not hinder your future."

"Mother, all these years, I have wandered far and wide, seeking the Dao at Mount Emei and Mount Qingcheng, yet I have failed to obtain even the slightest official position. I am truly ashamed."

"Whether you become an official or not doesn't matter, as long as you achieve something in your studies. Our family doesn't need the little money you earn. Son, get up quickly, let your mother take a good look at you."

Li Bai stood up and turned around in front of his wife: "My son has grown strong and healthy, and has become increasingly handsome and dashing."

"Madam, I'm here too." The woman in purple rushed in. "Where's my mother?"

Hearing Ziyi's voice, Aunt Lu rushed over, hugged him, and burst into tears: "Son, your mother is here. My son has grown up, he's become a fine young man. When you left home with the young master, you were just a few days shy of ten years old, and now you're fourteen."

The lady held the purple-clad woman's hand, looking her up and down, wiping away her tears: "They've all grown up; it's time for us to grow old too."

Li Bai and Zi Yi stayed in the lady's room for several hours. They didn't come out until lunchtime.

I waited in the backyard. There were three courtyards in a row, which made the yard very bright. The main hall was spacious and bright, where Li Bai's ancestors were enshrined. There were several simple and elegant side rooms on both sides, which served as bedrooms, studies and rest rooms. Li Bai spent more than ten years at home reading, singing and even sleeping in this place.

"Yuehua, come here and let me introduce you."

I ran up to Li Bai: "Mother, this is my page, Yuehua."

Li Bai, Zi Yi, and I left the lady's room and happened to run into Yue Yuan, who came to call us. Li Bai went to the main hall with Yue Yuan. I followed Zi Yi to a side room.
