Her eyes blinked under the light. "What's wrong, brother?"

Gin didn't say anything, but his eyes flickered for a moment before he turned and got into the car.

Su Yuanyuan was completely confused by him. Seeing that he was starting to get impatient, she quickly put down her suitcase and sat down as well.

"Brother, are we going to the airport now? Are you sure you're not taking any clothes?"

Gin only said two words before leaning back in his seat and ignoring her, so Su Yuanyuan had no choice but to start the car.

"Where is my brother going?"

"The business trip destination is Hokkaido."

Su Yuanyuan's expression went blank for a moment, her lips parted slightly as if she wanted to say something, then she silently closed them again and focused on driving.

She really hadn't expected that Gin's business trip was just to Hokkaido; no wonder she looked so strange with her suitcase.

Gin is usually not very talkative, and Su Yuanyuan didn't want to talk either, so they drove in silence all the way to their destination.

It was already dark when they arrived at the destination. Gin wanted to take her to scout out the place beforehand, but she refused. After that, he kept radiating coldness with a dark expression.

Su Yuanyuan ignored him and randomly checked into a hotel for the night.

Perhaps startled by Gin's expression, the waiter gave her a discount, and she happily thanked him, accepting the two room keys.

"Brother, thanks to you, I've saved some money. I'll treat you to breakfast tomorrow."

Gin, with his hands in his trench coat pockets, followed leisurely behind her with his long legs. After hearing her words, he gave her a cool glance.

Su Yuanyuan waved her hand dismissively, replying to him without a care. If she hadn't dragged Gin to stay at the hotel, Gin might have spent the whole night scouting the place and wouldn't have had time for breakfast.

Gin chuckled, his voice filled with disdain.

Su Yuanyuan went into her room, lay comfortably on the bed, and turned her head to look out the window.

A tall tower came into view. She shifted to a side-lying position, propped her head up with one hand, and gazed thoughtfully at the tower.

Speaking of Hokkaido, it seemed to be her first time here. Su Yuanyuan sat up and started searching on her phone to see if there were any fun places to visit.

There are quite a few places to visit," she thought for a while, resting her chin on her hand.

She's never made chocolate before; she can try tomorrow, but she doesn't know if it will conflict with her assignment.

Thinking of this, she got out of bed and went out, gently knocked on Gin's door, and then quietly waited for him to open it.

"You better have something important to do."

Startled by the sudden sound, Su Yuanyuan jumped up and kicked backward, but her ankle was grabbed by a hand with distinct knuckles halfway through.

Seeing that it was Gin, she pulled her foot back and complained, touching the goosebumps on her arm.

"Brother, how did you get in? You're terrifying! You scared me to death!"

"When you're startled, you only kick with this little bit of force. Go back and practice more."

Gin didn't answer her. He glanced at her withdrawn leg, said something, and sat down on the sofa.

Su Yuanyuan sat cross-legged on the edge of the bed with an "I knew it" look on her face.

"Big brother, what's the mission tomorrow?"

He chuckled, his eyes gleaming with arrogance, and tapped the table lightly with his long, slender fingers.

"I can manage on my own. I'm calling you to drive me."

Su Yuanyuan didn't feel underestimated at all; her eyes shone brightly as she looked at Gin expectantly.

"Does Big Brother mean you can do the mission all by yourself? You don't need me?"

Gin nodded slightly, glanced at her out of the corner of his eye, and slowly got up and walked out.

She followed happily behind, her voice becoming cheerful.

"Can I go on my own tomorrow? I promise I won't bother you, I'm just going to have some fun."

Gin abruptly stopped in his tracks, lowered his eyelashes, and narrowed his sinister eyes, coldly staring at the expression on her face.

Su Yuanyuan didn't expect him to stop suddenly and almost crashed into him because she couldn't brake in time.

She looked up at him, her eyes filled with confusion.

"What's wrong, brother?"

He stared at her for a while, a cold smile curving his lips, then turned and strode out of the room.

Su Yuanyuan was left standing there, confused. Why was she angry again? She hadn't done anything wrong.

Finally, Su Yuanyuan simply put him out of her mind and happily began to plan her trip.

When Su Yuanyuan left home in the morning carrying her small bag, she happened to see Vodka coming out of the elevator.

"Vodka, what brings you here?"

Vodka hesitated for a moment before answering, "My brother said there's a mission and asked me to come and help."

Su Yuanyuan looked at him with a puzzled expression. Didn't he say one person would be enough? Then she realized, was he implying that she wasn't as good as vodka?

She glared fiercely at Gin's room door, then stomped into the elevator in her high heels, letting out a heavy snort as she passed Vodka.

Vodka scratched his head and waited until the elevator reached the first floor before knocking on Gin's door.

"Come in."

Vodka opened the door and went in. Gin was already dressed and sitting on the sofa, carefully wiping Beretta in his hand.

"Brother, Sangria has gone out."

As soon as he entered, Vodka dutifully reported Su Yuanyuan's situation to Gin.

"Hmm, we don't need to worry about her."

Gin responded with a sound of agreement and continued wiping Beretta without paying any attention.
