The police officers who came were the same two who had interrogated her that morning, and they were also surprised to see Su Yuanyuan.

"You live here?"

"Yes, this is my boyfriend's house."

Su Yuanyuan shrugged, her tone a little unnatural when she said the word "boyfriend," and Sebastian gave her a half-smile.

"Would you like to come in and sit down, officer?"

"No need, we just want to ask a few questions."

The two shook their heads in refusal and took out their notebooks. The policewoman glanced behind her; a crowd had already gathered there, and the fire had been extinguished.

"Don't worry, it's just an accident. I saw that the window upstairs was broken. Is anyone alright?"

"No, I wasn't there at the time, but the losses were quite significant."

Su Yuanyuan gave the police a perfunctory reply, her eyes constantly scanning the outside. All she saw were nearby residents; there was no one she recognized as suspicious.

The policewoman kept writing something in her notebook, without even looking up when she spoke. Su Yuanyuan glanced at Sebastian.

"No, I only realized something was wrong when I heard the sound of glass breaking upstairs, so I went upstairs immediately."

After the two policemen finished their questioning, they left. Su Yuanyuan closed the door and looked out through the gap in the curtains, but still found nothing.

Sebastian reached out to fix her hair, but Su Yuanyuan slapped his hand away, telling him to stop touching her all the time.

"There are no suspicious people, and besides, someone had precognitive abilities when we first arrived, so this world isn't very safe after all!"

"There shouldn't be anything else tonight. Would you like to take a shower in my room, Miss?"

Su Yuanyuan glared at him but didn't refuse. It was really uncomfortable to only take a half-shower; she felt dirtier than if she hadn't showered at all.

She definitely wouldn't sleep in her original room, so Su Yuanyuan simply took over Sebastian's room. Since he wouldn't be sleeping anyway, she might as well just sit in the living room all night.

In the middle of the night, Su Yuanyuan was awakened by a heart palpitation. Without hesitation, she rolled off the bed, and the chandelier above her head fell right on the spot where she had just been lying.

Her face was cut by flying shards. Su Yuanyuan wiped away the blood and looked around warily.

She scrambled to her feet and ran toward the door, stopping just before her hand touched the handle. She could see electricity on it! She gritted her teeth and kicked the wooden door to pieces.

An electrical wire hung down from the ceiling outside, landing right on the handle. Su Yuanyuan sneered, thinking it best not to let her know who it was.

Sebastian stood at the top of the stairs, looking at the ceiling with great interest. He had asked when he bought the house that it was newly built.

However, the dangling wires were clearly old and worn out. Su Yuanyuan came out of the room and looked at the ceiling.

"Can ghosts cause electrical wires to age?"

"I don't know, I've never encountered a ghost."

Su Yuanyuan thought of the ghost in Silent Hill, but she couldn't remember if the ghost had such an ability, because the whole building was very dilapidated, and she wasn't sure if it was caused by a ghost.

She yawned. Well, both rooms were badly damaged, but at least her bed was still sleepable.

Sebastian only then noticed the injury on Su Yuanyuan's face. He raised his hand and gently stroked it, his blood-red eyes turning into beastly pupils.

Su Yuanyuan pushed his hand away, rubbed her eyes, and said it was just a minor injury that would probably be fine by tomorrow morning. She then pulled him toward her room.

"You should stay in my room tonight. I can't take it if it happens again. Do you have to do it when people are sleeping?"

"Oh my! Miss really trusts me!"

Upon hearing her words, Sebastian's eyes narrowed into a smile, and the chilling atmosphere around him vanished instantly.

Su Yuanyuan rolled her eyes at him. Although he was a bit rude, she still trusted his character after spending so many worlds together.

"Open your eyes wide, I don't want to be woken up again."

"Yes, ma'am!" Sebastian ruffled her hair and replied with a smile.

Finally, she slept soundly until dawn. When Su Yuanyuan woke up, Sebastian was sitting by her bedside. Su Yuanyuan's lips twitched. He was clearly on the sofa last night.

Not wanting to know what he had done that night, Su Yuanyuan quickly washed up and decided to eat breakfast outside.

They walked a little further and there was a breakfast shop on the street corner, where they only had smoked beef with black bread and cookies, and all they could drink was black coffee.

Su Yuanyuan stood there for a long time, but in the end she didn't order anything. Under the strange looks of the shop assistant, she pulled Sebastian out.

"Let's go back and eat. I still have some here."

"Then why do you want to eat out?"

"I sometimes want to eat out, but I've clearly chosen the wrong place."

Sebastian smiled broadly, took a long stride and walked in front of her, then turned around and took her hand to lead her back.

Su Yuanyuan stared at their clasped hands, remained silent for a while but did not pull them apart. Holding hands was nothing to it!

In the afternoon, Sebastian hired a repairman to fix the two bedrooms, and the two of them checked into a nearby hotel.

"Actually, there's no need to fix it, we won't be staying for long anyway."

Su Yuanyuan sat on the bed watching Sebastian organize her wardrobe. They were going to stay at the hotel for an extended period. Sebastian glanced back at her.

"The neighbors need to see it, otherwise it will seem too suspicious."

"Then why only book one suite?"

Sebastian turned around, placed his hands on either side of her, and slowly approached her with his eyes curved into crescents. Su Yuanyuan unconsciously backed away.

“We’re a couple now, so booking two rooms would be more suspicious, and it would also make it easier for me to protect you at night.”

Su Yuanyuan rolled her eyes. She would be a fool to believe that. She reached out and pushed his face away. She wasn't going to fall for his seduction.

Everything went smoothly all day, and Su Yuanyuan slept soundly through the night, waking up feeling particularly refreshed.

Since there was nothing else to do for the time being, Su Yuanyuan didn't want to stay in the hotel. Sebastian's eyes kept lingering on her, and sometimes she even felt a sense of danger.

So let's stay in a crowded place. After breakfast, she took Sebastian directly to the amusement park.

Since it wasn't the weekend, the place wasn't too crowded, which Su Yuanyuan liked.

"Do you have anything you'd like to play?"

Sebastian glanced at her and shook his head, looking somewhat unhappy. Su Yuanyuan walked ahead with a smile, she was quite happy!

Su Yuanyuan's gaze swept over the roller coaster and she walked straight toward the giant clock.

Having had a painful experience before, even though she's not afraid anymore, she still subconsciously avoids that project.

After spending a day exploring almost all the rides in the amusement park, Su Yuanyuan finally led Sebastian to stand in front of the haunted house.

There were more people here, mostly couples. Su Yuanyuan was speechless for a moment and wanted to leave, but Sebastian pulled her to join the back of the line.
