The Otherworldly Journey of a Quick Transmigrator

Chapter 216 Western Fantasy Continent 5

Having no other choice, Su Yuanyuan took out several more blankets and laid them on top, then took a sleeping bag and crawled inside.

I finally drifted off to sleep, but it felt like I hadn't slept for long before Sebastian woke me up.

Su Yuanyuan sat on the bed in a daze for a while, then dazedly climbed out of bed to tidy up. After washing up, she finally became a little more awake.

Seeing Sebastian's energetic appearance, Su Yuanyuan sincerely envied him for not needing to sleep.

After storing everything they had prepared in their spatial storage, Su Yuanyuan and Sebastian hiked up the snow-capped mountain. Once they reached a secluded spot, Su Yuanyuan took out a hat and mask and put them on. She even asked Sebastian if he wanted one, but he refused.

Crossing the snow-capped mountains was a dangerous task, but fortunately there were no monsters on the mountains and the space had everything they needed, so they successfully arrived in Heral.

Herald City is much like a slum, except that it is inhabited by low-level demons who worship violence and will fight at the slightest disagreement.

Corpses were scattered throughout the city streets. Su Yuanyuan and Sebastian, dressed in black robes, walked through the city. The demons here didn't have much energy even after being devoured, so their destination was the Misty Forest.

"Sebastian, are you sure you can go in alone?"

They stood outside the Misty Forest. Su Yuanyuan turned her head to look at Sebastian. The forest was filled with deadly poisonous gas, and Su Yuanyuan definitely couldn't go in.

"No problem, Miss, please wait here."

"Okay, if there's any danger, go back into the space."

Sebastian nodded and walked into the forest. Su Yuanyuan looked around and set up a tent under a rock.

He still didn't know when he would be able to come out, so Su Yuanyuan planned to use this time to flip through the book again and see where they were going next.

They can't go to the elves' territory. Sebastian is a demon, and Su Yuanyuan's talent is curse, which also belongs to dark energy. If they enter the elves' territory, they will definitely be hunted down.

She does want to visit Dragon Valley. The dragon she previously contracted was of the fire element, and she wants to contract another dragon of a different element.

Su Yuanyuan was worried that Sebastian wouldn't be able to withstand the attacks of so many dragons, so they went to Dragon Valley to make a contract.

She put down her book and glanced into the Misty Forest to see what was going on with Sebastian after he came out. If he could become a high-ranking demon, she could leave with peace of mind.

Su Yuanyuan has been staying outside the Misty Forest for a week, but Sebastian still hasn't made a move. However, a few low-level demons have come over.

But before Su Yuanyuan could even make a move, they started fighting amongst themselves over who would take the first bite, and Su Yuanyuan watched helplessly as they slaughtered them until only one remained in front of her.

Calmly taking a sip of her drink, Su Yuanyuan effortlessly dispatched the remaining one, then got up to pack up her tent and move to another location, as the place had been polluted and was no longer habitable.

Just as she had found a spot to set up her tent, she suddenly sensed movement in the space, and the next second Sebastian appeared looking disheveled.

Su Yuanyuan's expression changed. Without saying anything, she first stuffed a bottle of magic potion into his mouth. Only after seeing that his wounds began to heal after he drank it did she speak.

"How did it happen?"

"I'm sorry, Miss, we've encountered two demon lords, and I'm not yet their match."

As Sebastian spoke, he ripped off his tattered shirt. Su Yuanyuan quickly threw a thick coat on him and watched him put it on with a dark expression.

"It's alright, do you still want to go in? If not, we'll leave."

"Let's leave for now. The demons inside are probably waiting for me to go back in."

Sebastian smiled and thought for a moment. He had caused quite a bit of trouble inside these past few days, so it was safer to leave first.

Su Yuanyuan nodded. Since she didn't need to set up a tent anymore, she gave Sebastian a bottle of energy potion and watched him drink it before heading towards Dragon Valley.

"Miss, where are we going next?"

"Let's go to Dragon Valley first. If possible, I'd like to contract another dragon."

"Oh! Miss is going to push me out again."

Sebastian forced a smile, and Su Yuanyuan glanced at him.

"Let's go take a look first. After all, that's where dragons live, and I'm afraid you won't be able to handle it."

On their way to Dragon Valley, they passed through the Elf Mountains. Su Yuanyuan was so captivated by the sight of the Moon Goddess Flowers covering the mountains that she could hardly move.

This is a herb blessed by the moon goddess. It is compatible with any medicine and can increase the effectiveness and shelf life of the medicine.

"Sebastian, let's wait until night."

Sebastian also saw the Moon Flower, but he frowned and looked around. They were just a hair's breadth away from stepping into the elven territory.

"Miss, it's very dangerous to pluck the Moon Goddess Flower."

“I know, but this is a rare opportunity. You know how much the Moon Goddess Flower costs, and it’s priceless.”

Su Yuanyuan was aware of the danger, but she had made up her mind that they should hide in the space before the elves arrived. She really didn't want to miss out on so many Moon Goddess Flowers.

They sat on the hillside, quietly watching the Moon Goddess Flower. As darkness fell, the edges of the flower's petals began to shimmer with a silvery light.

Su Yuanyuan knew that now was the best time to pick them, so she stood up and patted the dirt off her clothes.

"Let's hurry up and pick as many as possible before the elves arrive."

After saying that, he ran to the nearest Moon Goddess Flower, carefully dug it out of the soil, and threw it into the space.

Sebastian also worked quickly, digging in the soil and occasionally checking to see where the elves were.

"Miss, they are coming!"

Upon hearing Sebastian's reminder, Su Yuanyuan decisively abandoned the half-digging up of the Moon Goddess Flower and hid in the space with Sebastian.

Seeing the Moon Goddess Flowers scattered all over the ground, Su Yuanyuan squatted down and slowly tidied them up, letting the elves search outside.

Su Yuanyuan carried the Moon Goddess Flower to the only stream in the space, and was responsible for washing off the soil, while Sebastian put the washed Moon Goddess Flower on the shelf.

After they finished, Su Yuanyuan carefully left the space. It was already daylight outside, and she still couldn't see any elves.

Sebastian came out with a coat, looked around to make sure no one was there, and then draped the coat over her shoulders.

"Miss, it's still quite cold here in the morning."

"Thank you. Let's go while no one's around."

"Don't you eat breakfast, Miss?"

Su Yuanyuan really wanted to roll her eyes at him; why was he eating breakfast at a time like this?

"Let's leave first, we can eat slowly on the way."

After they left the Elf Mountain Range, Su Yuanyuan found a shady spot under a tree to sit down.

She took a mat out of her space and laid it on the ground before starting to take out food. Sebastian poured her a cup of coffee and placed it in front of her.

Su Yuanyuan glanced at it; when did she take out the coffee?

Su Yuanyuan's stomach was growling with hunger. She took a sip of coffee to moisten her throat, picked up a sandwich and took a bite. Eating here was like having a picnic.

Along the way, Su Yuanyuan would stop and pick some herbs whenever she saw them. The herbs here were all rare types, and she just couldn't resist.
