"My name is Su Yuanyuan. You said you live nearby, could you take me out?"

“Alright, then come with me. I’ll take you to Mrs. Gerry; she has the key to the house.”

Charlie immediately wanted to take her to see the house, and Su Yuanyuan smiled and did not object.

Charlie is clearly a warm-hearted and efficient person; dealing with someone like that is always a pleasant experience.

Su Yuanyuan arrived at Mrs. Gerry's house quickly in Charlie's car. Mrs. Gerry was an old lady with gray hair.

Charlie warmly invited him in for tea, but Charlie politely declined. They took the keys and went to a two-story building not far away.

The small building was kept very clean inside and out, and there was a fruit tree planted in the back, but it was now bare, and Su Yuanyuan didn't know what kind of tree it was.

"This family moved to the city, and Mrs. Gerry has always had the key. Few people come to this area, so the house has been empty. Mrs. Gerry comes over to clean it from time to time."

Charlie followed behind her, chattering on and on about the house. Su Yuanyuan listened quietly, and after a casual look around, she was quite satisfied.

Mrs. Gerry was a straightforward person, and she quickly signed the agreement with Su Yuanyuan, who paid a year's rent in one lump sum.

She moved in that very day, and the first thing she did was summon Sebastian.

The summoning circle lit up briefly, but nothing appeared. Su Yuanyuan thought it must be because the energy system was different, or that this world didn't allow it.

Since they couldn't summon Su Yuanyuan, they gave up. It seemed they would have to rely on themselves for everything again.

The house was clean and didn't need tidying up, so Su Yuanyuan planned to go and buy some necessities.

She had observed everything while sitting in Charlie's car; there was a market-like area in town, as well as supermarkets and fast-food restaurants.

Although the town is small, it has all the necessary facilities. Since Su Yuanyuan doesn't have a car, she can only use her Phantom to appear in an empty alley.

As soon as she came out of the alley, she ran into a girl with short black hair, and Su Yuanyuan couldn't help but gasp.

"I'm sorry, did I hurt you?"

She quickly apologized to Su Yuanyuan, her expression somewhat panicked, her eyes scanning Su Yuanyuan up and down, trying to see if she was injured anywhere.

Su Yuanyuan grimaced and rubbed her shoulder, shaking her head at the girl, "It's okay, I'll be fine in a bit."

"I'm glad you're alright. I haven't seen you before. Are you here for tourism?"

She struck up a conversation with Su Yuanyuan in a very familiar manner, leaving Su Yuanyuan completely bewildered. Are all foreigners like this? She had never encountered anyone like this before.

"Uh! I'm here on vacation and plan to stay for a while."

“That’s great. Can I come out? I’m Alice Cullen, you can just call me Alice.”

Looking at Alice's excited expression, Su Yuanyuan had a bad feeling.

Alice glanced back and replied with a smile, "Oh! This is Jasper Hale, my boyfriend. He'll be with us."
