The Young Swordsman of Dalu

Wenfei accompanied Ji Wuchang and Jin Yuanying for half a month. On the way, Ji Wuchang urged Wenfei countless times to go back quickly and not to accompany the two old guys anymore, but Wenfei insisted on accompanying them for a while longer.

"That mountain is called Cuiyun Peak, the highest peak in this continuous mountain range. Back when my father was still a swordsman, he came here to find snow lotus for my mother. He climbed almost all the peaks here, and finally found the snow lotus on Cuiyun Peak. There was a cave halfway up the mountain, and the snow lotus grew on the edge of the cave. When my father picked the snow lotus, an avalanche occurred throughout the entire mountain range. My father was trapped in the cave. The cave was long and deep, and my father walked along it for a long time. At the deepest part of the cave, he found a giant python. My father didn't dare to disturb the python and quickly walked back to the cave entrance. As he kept clearing the snow sealing the cave entrance, the giant python was already behind him. Before the python could attack him, my father quickly slipped out of the cave and fell off the mountain. Fortunately, there was a thousand-year-old snow accumulation at the foot of the mountain, which saved his life." Jin Yuanying looked up at Cuiyun Peak and calmly recounted the story of his father, Jin Wuba.

"Senior Jin, what happened next?" Wenfei asked curiously.

"How is it?" Ji Wuchang was also very curious.

"Do you two expect me, an old woman, to tell you stories in this freezing valley?" Jin Yuanying pretended to be angry.

"Senior Jin, I will go up Cuiyun Peak right now and capture the giant python," Wen Fei said confidently.

Wen Fei looked up at Cuiyun Peak. He wanted to rush up the mountain and go into the cave to find the snow python.

“Master, you and Senior Jin should rest first. I’ll go inside and take a look. After all these years, the snow python might have moved away,” Wen Fei said with a smile.

"Be careful!" Ji Wuchang warned.

Wen Fei turned and went deep into the cave. The cave was full of pits and the walls were made of huge rocks. The further he went, the colder it became. Wen Fei dared not walk too fast. He kept his eyes wide open and stared ahead, afraid that the snow python might suddenly come out from in front of him and attack him.

Wenfei felt that the cave must have an end, and he wanted to know what was at the end of the cave. Curiosity drove him to keep walking forward.

Suddenly, a cool breeze swept towards Wen Fei, and instantly a huge python stood before him. The python opened its mouth, its tongue protruding, and it hissed. Wen Fei hadn't expected to actually encounter a snow python, and he had never seen such a huge python before his transmigration. The snow python turned its head and opened its blood-red mouth to bite Wen Fei, but Wen Fei flew in front of the snow python and ran away as fast as he could.
