Chapter 73 Where Did the Snake Come From?

Early in the morning, the sky was overcast, and it looked like it was going to rain.

Xia Yao didn't try to persuade him any further. He took a piece for himself and ate it as he walked to the west room.

Acheng continued harvesting the wheat. By the time he finished, it was already late afternoon. He dusted himself off and went to the field without disturbing Xia Yao.

Not long after Acheng left, Xia Lanyue returned. She was originally waiting for Dai You, but Dai You didn't want her to get wet in the rain, so he let her come back, saying that she could help harvest the wheat.

After Xia Lanyue arrived at the Xia family home, she saw that the wheat harvest was already complete and she had nothing to do, so she went back to her room and lay down, and unknowingly fell asleep.

“Go catch the snake!” Dai You said, turning around, his tone softening.

"Don't go, that snake is huge!" Xia Lanyue's voice still trembled slightly.

"You saw it clearly?" Dai You was a little confused by what she said.
