Inviting the Moon to the Farmhouse

Xia Lanyue and Xia Yao walked along the riverbank, one in front of the other and about ten meters apart.

Xia Lanyue couldn't help but laugh when she thought of Xia Yao's cowardly behavior earlier.

The sound reached Xia Yao's ears from behind, causing him to roll his eyes.

Xia Lanyue walked ahead of him along the path through the reeds, playing with the reeds in her hand as she walked. Suddenly, she bumped into a man's arms without warning.

She glanced at Dai You, and as expected, the anger in his eyes seemed about to erupt, but Xia Lanyue pretended not to see it, walked past him, and continued forward.

Then, Dai You coldly withdrew his fist, pulled Xia Lanyue up from the ground, and said, "Come with me."

Xia Lanyue staggered forward after Dai You. At the turn, she glanced at Xia Yao, who was lying on the ground, looking at her weakly. Blood was seeping from the corner of his mouth.

Beyond that point, she could no longer see anything; the reeds blocked her view.

"Won't he get beaten to death?!" Xia Lanyue was a little scared; she had never seen Xia Yao so weak before.

After walking about five zhang, Dai You swung his arm forcefully, and Xia Lanyue, due to inertia, took two more steps forward before stopping.

Xia Lanyue rubbed her wrist, which he had just grabbed, and glared at Dai You.

Dai You suppressed his anger and questioned in a low voice, "Do you think that just because you have amnesia you can do whatever you want?!"

Xia Lanyue understood that he had misunderstood her and Xia Yao. Originally, she did not want to explain, nor did she want to make things worse. "You misunderstood. I just fell into the water."

But Dai You simply didn't believe it. "You know you can't swim, so why did you go to the water's edge? Just to give him a chance to save you?! You really want to be with him that much?!"

Dai You stared into her eyes and sneered, "Your lie is really fake!"

She didn't say another word, turned around and walked forward.

She had only taken two steps when Dai You grabbed her arm, pulled her back, and turned her around. Then, a pair of large hands cupped her face, and then Dai You's lips pressed hard against hers.

"Ugh..." Before she could react, Xia Lanyue opened her eyes wide and watched what was happening, but she was powerless to stop it.

Dai You's kiss was forceful and domineering, leaving her no room to refuse. His tongue relentlessly invaded her mouth, exploring every corner as if declaring its sovereignty.

Xia Lanyue tried to resist, but she was too powerless under his strong offensive.

The kiss was oppressive; he was venting his emotions wantonly. Xia Lanyue wanted to escape, but there was nowhere to retreat. She felt suffocated, as if her breath had been stolen away.

After an unknown amount of time, the kiss ended.

Dai You slowly opened his eyes, looked at the tear-streaked face in front of him, and let go of his hands.

Xia Lanyue collapsed to the ground as if all her strength had been drained. Her body trembled uncontrollably, her eyes filled with fear and helplessness. This side of Dai You terrified her.

Dai You calmed down at this moment, looked at Xia Lanyue on the ground, bent down, and wanted to help her up.

She pushed his hand away, wiped the tears from her face, got up, and ran back.

Xia Lanyue ran back to the house, collapsed onto a stool, and remained in a daze for a long time, her mind filled with Dai You's crazy actions just now.

Xia Lanyue touched her still burning lips and cried even harder.

After crying herself to sleep, she sat at the table, feeling dejected and lost in thought.

She sighed; this step had been a mistake.

Things went completely beyond her plans; Dai You showed her through his actions that they were not siblings.

She felt lost, unsure how to face him or her own feelings.

Just then, she suddenly remembered that Xia Yao was still lying on the ground, and a wave of anxiety washed over her. She had been so focused on running away that she didn't know how he was doing, or if Dai You had beaten him up again! That would be dangerous.

Xia Lanyue quickly stood up, changed into clean clothes, and ran towards the gate.

Just as I opened the courtyard gate, I saw two people outside. They were standing one in front of the other, Xia Yao and Dai You.

Xia Yao seemed to be fine, except for a cut on his lip, which had stopped bleeding.
