Chapter 81 Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace: Su Luyun 7
Su Luyun's relationship with the prince is steadily improving, and she plans to try something different. She recently made some warm mink fur coats, which are most suitable for foxes and scholars.
Su Luyun sent Kexin to deliver clothes to the prince, and also wrote, "This little demon misses you more than ever. Tonight, I invite the scholar to spend the night with me."
Kexin was an honest child and didn't know what Su Luyun had written. She obediently went to deliver the clothes.
As Kexin approached the study, Wang Qin came over. Having received news that Su Gege had delivered clothes to the prince, he reported this to Kexin, who then went into the study.
The prince stood in front of his desk, handling official business.
Kexin respectfully brought the clothes up. The prince raised an eyebrow. It was winter now, and the clothes Su Luyun had sent were summer clothes.
Kexin reminded the prince that Princess Su had left him a note. When the prince opened it, even the seasoned prince blushed slightly, coughed, and said, "Did your princess say anything else?"
Kexin said in a serious tone, "The princess didn't say anything, she just told the prince to change into this outfit tonight."
The prince thought of Su Luyun's fair and delicate skin, and every time he thought of it, he wanted to add a red dot to it. As he thought about it, his ears turned red instantly, and the expression on his face became unnatural.
After Kexin left, the prince couldn't calm down and his mind was filled with thoughts.
When Su Luyun saw Kexin return, she asked the prince if he had said anything after receiving the clothes.
Kexin said happily, "The prince said he will definitely come tonight."
Su Luyun knew this, and told Kexin to go and prepare to change the room's decor, otherwise it wouldn't suit the fox spirit's appearance.
After Kexin and Keqing learned of the princess's plan, the two young girls, who were still quite naive, blushed and helped Su Luyun with the arrangements. Foxes and scholars usually meet on the scholar's way to take the imperial examination, and most of the stories on the market describe it this way.
The prince finally finished his business for the day and, with Wang Qin, headed straight for Zhuxi Garden. On the way, they encountered Qingying, who was taking Aruo for a stroll in the garden.
Qingying never expected to meet her young lover. She looked at the prince with anticipation and said, "Fuying Courtyard has prepared the Dark Fragrance Soup today. Your Highness has been drinking Dark Fragrance Soup for a long time."
Since Su Luyun entered the manor, the prince has spent more than half of his time staying at Su Luyun's Bamboo Creek Garden. Qingying, who has been so favored since entering the manor, naturally cannot accept this. However, she has invited the prince to dine with her, but sometimes the prince would refuse her, which the proud Qingying could not bear, so she gave up trying to win his favor.
With the prince dangling the carrot of Su Luyun, how could he possibly go anywhere else tonight?
The prince refused Qingying's request, saying he would visit her again the next day.
After the prince left, Qingying watched his departing figure and felt that many things had already left her.
Zhuxi Garden.
Kexin was already waiting outside. After all, when she delivered the gifts to the prince earlier, she had reminded him to have eaten before coming over.
Kexin looked up and saw that the prince had already arrived in the courtyard. Following Su Gege's instructions, she led the prince to the side room to change his clothes, which were now a standard scholar's attire.
He let the scholar go in by himself, his gaze sweeping across the room, where red charcoal burned, making it warm and cozy.
Suddenly, the sound of a zither drifted over. The person was dressed in a ruqun (a type of traditional Chinese dress) that resembled Tang Dynasty attire. She wore a short shirt with a low collar, a silk skirt, and a gauze robe over it, revealing glimpses of her fair and delicate skin.
The scholar gazed at the woman, who looked up and glanced at him. Her eyes curved slightly, and she smiled gently before continuing to play the zither quietly.
The scholar swallowed hard and walked toward the woman as if in a daze.
The scholar said respectfully, "I am just passing through this place and would like to ask for lodging for the night."
The woman put down her zither, stood up, walked over, circled around the scholar, and placed her hand on his shoulder.
She chuckled and said, "What a handsome scholar! Where are you going? Why don't you stay and keep me company?"
The woman had a seductive look in her eyes, staring blatantly at the scholar as if she wanted to devour him.
The scholar's heart clenched; being gazed at by the woman, his heart began to ache.
The woman placed her hands on the scholar's, and the handsome scholar's face instantly turned bright red. He then gently removed the light veil covering his body, revealing his fair skin. The scholar gently held the woman's arm, and red marks appeared on it.
Seeing the scholar's change in expression, the woman smiled and said, "How about it? Stay and keep me company, I'll do anything you want!" Then she blew a breath into the scholar's ear.
The scholar felt an itch in his ears, and now his whole face was red, especially his ears, which turned bright red. His eyes suddenly flashed with a fierce light.
The man picked up the woman and carried her towards the bed, whispering, "You little vixen, let's see how I deal with you."
Su Luyun snapped out of her daze and immediately protested, saying, "Your Highness, the performance isn't over yet! How can you be so shameless!"
The prince's eyes flashed fiercely as he snarled, "Shut up!"
With a charming smile, she gracefully swayed amidst the fading green and crimson hues.
Thick as wine, fragrant sweat stains the silk, seeping through several times.
Su Luyun felt that night was very difficult to endure. She fell asleep very late, and soon heard someone getting up. However, Su Luyun did not want to move at all and soon fell into a deep sleep again.
Su Luyun became even more favored, but the prince would not slap his primary wife for Su Luyun's sake, so he still went to the main courtyard on the first and fifteenth of the month.
Su Luyun didn't care about this; she had been tormented too much lately and didn't want to see the prince.
As November arrived, Su Luyun looked at the plum blossoms outside and smiled to herself, thinking about the medicine she had given earlier. Fucha Langhua, Qingying, and Gao Xiyue must all be pregnant by now.
