However, everyone must admit that it is impossible for humanity to truly unite.

At least for now, it's not possible.

Those capable of building strong defenses are almost always large countries, or at the very least, ancient countries with a long history. What about the others?

This is a remote border town in Africa. They have no powerful enchanted guns or cannons, no long-term garrisoned heroes, and they are not even aware of the current international situation. For a long time, they have guarded this small place, working at sunrise and resting at sunset. They are isolated from the world.

Countries busy building their own defenses naturally wouldn't have time to pay attention to them; simply notifying all the leaders of those countries was considered a successful mission.

But how could they possibly protect themselves? Just as they could no longer protect themselves on slave ships centuries ago, they could not escape the clutches of the malicious Rahm centuries later.

As a swarm of rahms swept in from afar, and as that dark mass emerged from the sea, ignorant children pointed into the distance, laughing and saying that fish were coming.

Here, no one knows what this means.

In less than half a day, this place turned into a real hell on earth.

Limbs and severed bodies were everywhere, human corpses were tragically nailed to the walls, and blood continued to flow, filling every inch of the land.

The Rahms toyed with the corpses, their mouths agape, revealing gleaming white teeth and purple tongues, as they emitted shrill laughter.

The corpses were piled up, and the flowing blood formed a river of blood. Flies landed in the dilated pupils of the dead, and then quietly flew away.

From the very beginning, humans discovered that Lahm possessed a certain degree of sociality and a relatively high level of intelligence.

However, no one could have imagined that these monsters, possessing emotions and intelligence, would do things a thousand times worse than wild beasts—because they were created to resemble humans, calling themselves new humans, and without education and restraint, the worst aspects of humanity would only be manifested in them ten or a hundred times more.

Instead of killing everyone, they gathered the terrified surviving humans together.

"Chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp!!!"

Standing atop the ruins, Rahm shook his limbs, swayed his head, and watched the infighting below with a gleeful laugh, clearly very excited and happy.

Dozens of Rahm gathered the remaining humans together, drove them to a more open area, sealed off the entire place, and forbade anyone from escaping.

“As long as…you kill…your…compatriots, and the one who stands…to the very end…can…live.” Rahm spoke haltingly and in broken sentences. In such a short time, it had actually learned human language, and even the local dialect of this small town; such a learning ability was simply incredible.

They are inciting humans to kill each other.

At first, no one moved. The town wasn't big, which meant that in front of you were your aunt who watched you grow up, the kind old man next door, and the child you used to tease. Who could possibly kill you?

However, after Rahim impatiently killed one person, someone else started to act, and then everyone else did too.

Everyone's expression was very similar: their faces were contorted with rage, tears streaming down their faces, and they let out hoarse roars from their throats. Then they killed others with their fists, with pieces of flesh, with bone ornaments on their bodies, and with anything else they could attack.

"Ahhhhh!!"

A thin boy screamed. He hesitated for only a moment before the aunt who greeted him kindly every day knocked him down with her stout body, and the hairpin hidden in her fingertip pierced his eyeball.

However, the woman with the distorted expression kept crying and muttering "I'm sorry" to herself.

"No! I can't do it!"

When the warm blood of others splattered all over his palms, someone finally couldn't take it anymore and frantically pulled at his coat. His fate was obvious—he was torn to shreds by Rahm.

"My child is only one year old! She doesn't understand anything! Please, spare her! I can kill myself, just let her live! Please, please!!" A desperate mother rushed out of the crowd and knelt down before Rahm, kowtowing repeatedly until her head bled.

"Chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp!!"

Rahm let out a malicious laugh; they had no eyes, but their mockery was palpable.

"Then you should kill yourself first!!"

"There's a Rahm who suddenly said that."

The mother was stunned, tears streaming down her dark, bright eyes. She kissed the cheek of the bewildered child in her arms, letting out heart-wrenching sobs.

"Winnie, even without Mommy, you must grow up well. Winnie, Mommy loves you."

At this moment, even those who were still fighting temporarily stopped and watched this scene with sorrow.

The mother had no choice; she couldn't defeat the strong man, and she didn't even have a powerful weapon. She could only hold her child to her chest and rush towards the wall beside her.

With a sharp crack, she collapsed limply, blood flowing onto her daughter's face in her arms. The daughter cried out, unable to comprehend what had happened, only feeling sorrow.

A sickle-like foot lifted the swaddling clothes from his arms.

The mother looked at the monster with pleading eyes.

"Chirp chirp chirp chirp, New Humans never keep their word!!" Rahm let out an arrogant and mocking laugh.

The mother's eyes were fixed on despair as she watched helplessly as Rahm gestured with his other limb, as if to tear her beloved child apart.

The others were also in despair. Someone screamed and rushed towards Rahm. These monsters wouldn't let them go, so they might as well fight them!

Just as Rahm was about to shred the crying baby, a spear of light descended from the sky, flashing with lightning, easily piercing Rahm's hard shell and pinning it to the ground.

The baby girl fell from mid-air and returned to her mother's arms, even though the arms had begun to grow cold. In the end, hope remained in the mother's eyes.

Save my child, whoever it may be, God, please save my child!

The survivors all knelt down, murmuring in their local language, and prostrated themselves on the ground in a devout and pleading manner.

It's not that they are evil; they are simply powerless.

They did not understand what the coming being meant, so they could only kneel on the ground, begging for the mercy of the being, and dared not even raise their heads.

Clad in pure white robes, with magnificent yet cold armor covering his body, he wore a golden round shield on his left hand and gripped an invisible light spear tightly in his right.

A halo of light unfolded behind her, accompanied by falling white feathers. Her beauty was beyond human comprehension, yet she was as cold as ice, with wing-like decorations standing atop her head.

Beside her, many similar yet different figures stood in the air, coldly watching this hell on earth.

"Chirp chirp chirp!!" The Rahms also spotted the enemies, and they jumped up and attacked them while laughing mockingly.

"Entry confirmed, Noble Phantasm unlocked—"

A vast amount of magical energy connected in the air, and the Valkyrie's spear of light shone with the light of thunder.

"Syncing in progress. Aiming complete. — Pseudo-God's Declaration! (Gungnir)"

The spear of light, wreathed in the lightning of destruction, broke free from the Valkyries' grasp and annihilated all the demons.
