Another World: The Failed Magician

Just as the sun rose, a soft knocking sound came from outside Mo Yun's door. However, the knocking was not enough to wake Mo Yun, who was fast asleep. After knocking for a while, the person outside seemed to realize the problem and then gradually increased the volume of the knocking. Finally, after quite some time, Mo Yun was awakened by the knocking.

Mo Yun angrily rolled off the bed, rushed out of the room in her messy pajamas, and was about to yell at the person who knocked when she saw Charlotte smiling outside the door, and her morning grumpiness vanished.

Seeing the flustered look on Mo Yun's face, Charlotte gently comforted her, saying, "It's okay. I knew you wouldn't be able to get up, so I woke you up early. It's still early, there's plenty of time."

Hearing this, Mo Yun jumped up happily: "Sister Charlotte, you are my angel! Please come in and sit for a while. I'll go wash up and change right away." After saying that, Mo Yun rushed back to her room to get ready.

Before long, the two walked hand in hand into the magic classroom that the dean had arranged for them.

Mo Yun nodded and walked to the person's side, gently poking him with her finger. After a while, the person sat up.

The two looked at the boy, who appeared to be sixteen, seventeen, or eighteen years old, with his eyes closed. Charlotte spoke first, asking, "Excuse me, are you a senior here?"

Lu Xuan shook his head when he woke up. As expected, he hadn't slept well again last night, and his head was still groggy when he woke up.

He looked at the two little girls in front of him, thought for a moment, and then said, "You two are Charlotte and Mo Yun, right?"

Charlotte and Mo Yun were also a little puzzled that the boy in front of them had called them by name. Charlotte replied, "Yes! It's the two of us. Is there something you need, senior?"

Lu Xuan, looking as if he had just realized something, said, "It's nothing serious. Maybe you two need to change how you address me. I'm your magic teacher." After saying that, he looked at the two little girls' surprised expressions and didn't say anything more.

After Charlotte realized what was happening, she quickly greeted the teacher and pulled Mo Yun to sit down in the classroom.

After watching the two sit down, Lu Xuan rummaged through his spatial ring, took out two books, and handed them to them, saying, "You should both recognize the characters, right? Take these and look at them for a while. Call me if you don't understand anything." With that, Lu Xuan slumped back onto the platform and fell asleep. He inwardly praised the Ancestral Dragon Empire, which had once ruled all of humanity. After all, it had not only ruled over all of humanity but also unified the language, saving him some trouble. At least Mo Yun and Charlotte could read the books he provided, saving him a lot of work. Otherwise, teaching children to read would have been the death of him.

Looking at Lu Xuan, who was already fast asleep on the podium, Charlotte and Mo Yun exchanged a glance, and Mo Yun whispered, "Why do I feel like our teacher is too reliable?"

Charlotte shook her head helplessly. As the little princess of the Kingdom of Light, she had seen many teachers, but this was the first time she had seen one like this. However, her good upbringing prevented Charlotte from questioning Lu Xuan. She simply pointed to the book in her hand, indicating that Mo Yun should take a look at it first.

Seeing that Charlotte didn't react much, Mo Yun had no choice but to pick up the book and start reading.
