Quick Transmigration: Survive to the End
Chapter 638 World 96
The Elf Forest hadn't hosted so many guests from other races in five hundred years, but they remained completely calm, all wearing smiles.
Damian and Lucas finished what they were doing and came to find Stella.
“This is a new dress I designed,” Damian said, getting straight to the point. “Stella, take a look and see if there’s anything you’re not satisfied with. I need to get it made right away.”
“It’s so beautiful,” Stella could imagine its full beauty just from Damian’s drawing and the simple sample garment. “There’s nothing I’m dissatisfied with, but is the time too tight?”
"I haven't worn any of the gorgeous dresses you designed for me before."
“Although they are both formal dresses, how can they be the same for your wedding?” Damian interrupted Stella and confirmed the size with her again. “I won’t be coming over for the next few days, but I will definitely deliver the wedding dress on time.”
After Damian finished explaining his business, he planned to leave, but Lucas, who had come with him, remained motionless.
Once Stella and the others had all turned their attention to him, Lucas seemed to suddenly wake up, scratching his hair in frustration.
"Why did I have to travel around for the past two years? Why did I have to stay away for so long? Couldn't I have just come back sooner?"
His words seemed nonsensical, but Stella and Damian both understood what he meant.
Damian leaned against the door: "Now you know? Didn't you want to come back just in time for the 100-day celebration when you were out there?"
Before Damian could say anything too offensive, Lucas's head had already begun to lower.
"I was just blinded by the wildflowers outside."
“Stella,” Lucas looked at her expectantly, “after the 100-day celebration, tell me about you and the King, okay? If I miss out on even the love stories happening around me, I will regret it for the rest of my life.”
“How could you regret it for the rest of your life?” Stella said with a smile. “Aren’t you rushing to your wedding?”
Stella knew perfectly well what Lucas wanted to know, but some things couldn't be discussed openly.
Especially the fact that they opened the treasure of the God of Light and found so many Snow Core Grasses inside.
Lucas wanted to say a few more words, but Damian dragged him out the door.
Stella heard Damian's voice coming from afar.
“You’re the one who procrastinated and missed important things, so you have to accept that and stop bothering Stella with questions.”
Instead of idling around, why not help me finish the dress for Stella as soon as possible?
Stella didn't care about their relationship; she still had to see Catherine, who had come with the Archmage Ralph.
Before going to the Elven race, Catherine was very much looking forward to it. She hadn't seen Stella for several years and was eager to show her her progress.
But all of this changed after they arrived in the Elven realm and heard the Elves answer who Lord Raff's future Elven Queen would be.
“Stella,” Catherine gave Stella a big hug right away, then eagerly asked for confirmation, “Stella, the elves are saying you’re going to marry the Elf King, is that true?”
“Yes,” Stella said gently, “I am going to marry Thranduil.”
When Catherine heard her affirmation, she felt a mix of emotions, unable to say whether she was happy or unhappy.
Stella called softly, "Catherine?"
“I’m fine,” Catherine said, sounding a little down. “I just didn’t expect you to get married so soon, Stella.”
Catherine quickly composed herself: "Since the other party is the Elf King, I won't say anything more."
“But even if it is the Elf King, if he treats you badly, Stella, you must tell me.”
"Although men of Elf King quality are hard to find, men of Romeo quality are still possible. Then I..."
Stella covered her mouth, somewhat amused and exasperated: "Catherine, even though the other party is Thranduil, I'm not someone you can bully just because of anyone."
Then she lowered her voice again: "Besides, I think I've seen more beauties than you have!"
Catherine watched as Stella playfully winked her right eye, and then suddenly realized what she meant.
Stella is a fairy!
There are no ugly faces among the elves and fairies, and Stella has good relationships with the dragons and mermaids. Although there are more playboys and not many reliable ones among the dragons, there are some mermaids who are more beautiful than Romy.
When that time comes, Stella will have plenty of options.
Catherine was relieved, but then it suddenly occurred to her: "Stella, you are my teacher, and you and the Elf King are about to get married. Doesn't that mean the Elf King is about to become my teacher's husband?"
Catherine finally regained her positive feelings towards the Elf King, and the smile on her face became genuine.
She changed her tune so quickly, and in the blink of an eye she was talking to Stella about her progress again, as if she wanted to have a long talk and give Stella a proper demonstration.
However, she was unsuccessful. Although she desperately wanted to stay, the Elf King came knocking on the door, and Catherine naturally could no longer stay.
"What's wrong, Thranduil?" Stella asked curiously when she saw the Elf King suddenly appear.
“No, it’s nothing,” said the Elf King. “I just wanted to see you.”
Stella paused for a moment, then smiled and hugged him: "I missed you too."
The Elf King was satisfied. After asking her if she had anything else to do, he led her to the next room.
There are still many official duties to be done for the elves. Stella can help if she wants, or she can just do her own thing if she doesn't.
The Elf King preferred to be alone with her and disliked outsiders gossiping and saying nonsense in front of Stella.
Of course, Catherine can be specifically mentioned here.
Although the Elf King had no intention of revenge or anything else, he was simply annoyed.
Stella did what she had wanted to do for a long time, reaching out to gently pinch the Elf King's earlobe: "I know your hearing is very sharp. The two rooms are so close together, you didn't mean to eavesdrop."
“But Thranduil, you should give me and my friends some space. And Catherine was just joking. If what she said comes true, we should look for the reasons within ourselves.”
"As long as our relationship continues to be good, what she said won't happen, right?"
The Elf King took Stella's hand, gently pressed it against his cheek, and looked intently at her with his deep eyes.
"Of course, you know me just as well as I know you."
"I cannot promise forever, but I can promise the end of my life."
Stella, I love you.
Stella felt a tingling sensation in her heart, and she couldn't resist giving the Elf King a gentle kiss on the eyelid.
"I must admit, Thranduil, you are really good at sweet talk."
"I will keep an eye on you and will never give you the chance to break your promise."
