Quick Transmigration: Survive to the End
Chapter 596 World 54
Andrei was taken away, and the other dragons listened for a while before returning to their respective homes.
A little dragon invited Stella to go back with him, but Stella refused.
Stella didn't stay outside for long before she noticed that the small mirror she was carrying was starting to heat up.
She found a tree, placed the greenhouse there, closed the flower buds, and then opened the mirror.
Good night, Stella.
Good night, Catherine.
Their unspoken understanding made them laugh at the same time.
"Stella, let me tell you, the weather is really bad today. It's been snowing the whole way."
"We kept traveling, but due to the weather, we were forced to stop temporarily in a small town."
"With such heavy snow, all the shops outside are closed, so I can't even go out for a walk. Luckily, we brought a lot of supplies with us, so we don't have to worry about not having food."
Catherine talked on and on, and Stella listened attentively.
Because they arrived early and left at the perfect time, Catherine naturally didn't notice anything, only briefly complaining about the weather.
After she finished talking, Savison came out of the cave.
Stella watched him walk to the tree and opened a petal: "Is Andrei asleep?"
Savison nodded with a slight headache: "Stella, do your elven schools accept older children?"
Stella blinked. "You'll have to ask the King about that."
"However, I think you could take Andrei to the amusement park, Savison."
"An amusement park?" Savison paused for a moment. "The one you had the dwarves help build before? I remember there was some kind of illusionary realm there, right?"
“That’s right,” Stella said, controlling the greenhouse to fly down and beginning to enthusiastically recommend the benefits of the illusion to Savison.
"It's better to guide than to block a cub. If he wants to go, then let him go. But what he will experience after he goes is uncertain."
Savison hesitated again after hearing her say that: "Andrei is still young, can he play in that illusion?"
“Of course,” Stella said. “Lucas loved going to the illusion when he was a child.”
“He stayed with us at first, but then he started running inside on his own. He wasn’t even as big as Andrei back then.”
“Then let Andre go too,” the Dragon Queen said to Savison as she came out from inside. “Let him broaden his horizons so we can consider the matter carefully.”
"At least for now, Andrei is not up to the task."
Becoming the future king of a race does not necessarily mean giving up one's ideals.
After all, the lifespan of immortal species is indeed very long.
But aside from these, learning responsibility and accountability is sometimes more important than being smart.
Savison understood his wife's meaning and nodded in agreement.
Stella looked at them and said with a smile, "If you're worried, you can come with Andre to the Fairy Forest Amusement Park. Families are very welcome there."
Only by experiencing it firsthand can one know what the situation is like inside and what expectations one can have for Andrei.
“Alright,” the Dragon Queen said gently, “I will definitely go.”
Since the Dragon Queen had agreed, and Savison, who frequently visited the Elf Forest before the wedding and even had his own private room in the Elf Palace, was even less likely to miss it.
He quickly decided: "Why don't we set off first thing tomorrow morning? I also need to tell Thranduil about the bards. I'll go and arrange things in the tribe now."
Since neither he nor the Dragon Queen were with the clan, Savison chose to temporarily close Dragon Island.
Stella watched him walk away, and suddenly it occurred to her.
Dragon Island is currently closed, so Catherine definitely won't be able to get in anytime soon.
Will she continue on her journey until she reaches the outskirts of Dragon Island and only then learn of this, or will she receive advance notice and change course in time?
Stella's questions didn't linger for long; they were answered the very next day.
She had just returned to the Elf Palace and written a letter to the Mermaid Queen Doris, but before she could deliver it to Garcia, she received a message from Catherine.
“Night Stella,” Catherine said dejectedly, barely managing to muster any energy to speak.
"Good night, Catherine," Stella greeted with a smile, then her expression turned worried. "What's wrong? The weather's still bad today?"
“The weather is pretty good. The snow from yesterday has stopped, and the sun is quite warm,” Catherine sighed. “It’s just that I received some bad news today.”
"Dragon Island is temporarily closed."
Catherine lay on the table: "I don't know what suddenly happened on Dragon Island. If I had known, I would have gone to Dragon Island first and then turned back."
“There’s nothing we can do about it,” Stella said gently. “The world is always full of variables, and not everything can go the way we want.”
“You’re right,” Catherine said, still somewhat listless.
Stella had no intention of telling her the inside story, so she asked, "So what are your plans next?"
“Next,” Catherine thought for a moment, “I plan to go to the beach.”
“Dragon Island is not too far from the Merfolk territory. I happen to have a Merfolk invitation from the past, which I can use to contact them.”
Stella listened but didn't say much, only offering a few words of concern before calling it a day.
With communication cut off, Stella flew directly to the next room and landed in front of the Elf King.
“Your Majesty,” Stella called out, “Catherine already knows that Dragon Island is closed off and no one is allowed to enter or leave. Her next destination is to search for mermaids.”
The Elf King nodded, indicating that he understood.
Stella continued, "Your Majesty, have you achieved your goal of luring out the rebels?"
“It’s almost done,” the Elf King said. “Are you trying to make her exchange go smoothly?”
“I just wanted to lend a hand in a little way,” Stella said. “At least for now, Catherine is a good friend and a good student.”
The Elf King thought for a moment and said, "Didn't you say in the script you wrote before that good things come to those who wait?"
"If you don't have enough time and anticipation, and you get everything too easily, you won't cherish it later."
After listening, Stella understood what the Elf King meant.
He hoped that Catherine would continue to obtain what she wanted through her own efforts and wisdom.
Only in this way will Catherine always remember the hardships she faced back then.
On this point, Stella knew perfectly well that she should indeed listen to the Elf King.
Eagerness doesn't guarantee a good deal; sometimes, helping too much can backfire.
“I understand, Your Majesty,” Stella said, curtsying respectfully to the Elf King. “Thank you for the reminder, Your Majesty.”
Stella straightened up: "It seems I'll have to write a few more lines in my letter to Doris."
This was certainly not asking Doris to help her get a back door, but rather instructing Doris that if she were to appear in person, she must not reveal her identity.
Of course, Stella still trusted Doris's intelligence and talent; otherwise, how could Doris be the most successful among her friends?
It's rare for someone to successfully ascend to the throne as a mermaid queen while their parents are still alive.
Throughout the history of mermaids, there has only been one Doris.
