Should we look for Anthony now?

Stella and Damian exchanged a glance, then responded enthusiastically as if they hadn't noticed anything.

"Yes!"

Stella knew more fairies and elves, so she was the one to open the door.

"Anna?" Stella asked in surprise. "When did you arrive in the Elf Forest?"

Anna was a fairy born at the same time as Anthony, but she was more academically gifted than Anthony and came of age and traveled earlier.

“Stella,” Anna greeted her gently, but when she saw Damian, a subtle awkwardness appeared on her face. She said reservedly, “Hello.”

“Hello,” Damian nodded shyly and continued reading.

Stella noticed Anna pause in her movements and stepped forward, saying, "Anna, did you come here specifically to see Anthony? But you've come at a bad time; he's still asleep."

Hearing this, Anna turned her attention back to Stella: "Oh? What time is it? There are still important guests here, and he can still sleep? He's so lazy."

With that, Anna strode inside.

“No, you can’t blame Anthony for this,” Stella stopped her, gesturing for her to speak softly. “Anthony had a little trouble and just finished treatment. He needs to rest.”

"Something happened?" Anna was taken aback for a moment, then her expression turned to worry. "How could he suddenly have an accident? Is it...?"

Anna stopped mid-sentence, as if she had something to worry about.

Stella took her attitude to heart and shrugged: "I'm not too sure either. Let him tell you himself when he wakes up."

Anna nodded, first checking on Anthony to make sure he was still asleep, then went to persuade Stella and the other woman.

"He's still sleeping soundly, and it looks like he won't wake up anytime soon. If you have anything else to do, you can go ahead. I'll stay and watch over him."

Stella shook her head and declined, saying, "We don't have anything to do. Damian is reading, and I'm studying design. It's quiet here with Anthony, which is perfect."

Damian also said, "This is a task entrusted to us by our elders, and I will definitely complete it well."

Damian didn't say which elder it was, so Anna naturally assumed it was someone like a healer.

Seeing that she couldn't persuade them, Anna made an excuse not to disturb them and went into Anthony's room alone to stay with him.

Once the room was quiet, Stella and Damian, using the table as cover, openly began communicating using the hand gestures they had developed.

Sometimes, when Stella doesn't quite understand the gestures, her paper and pen for design come in handy. After all, Damian is a student of Robert, and when he gives Stella design advice, no one can find fault with it.

The two children talked most about how Anthony had just been freed from the curse when Anna suddenly showed up at their door. What was the connection between that?

However, given Anna and Anthony's long-standing good relationship, such a coincidence is not particularly strange, so all they have to do now is wait.

When Robert left, he said that Anthony was just a little exhausted and would wake up soon after resting.

But Anthony was still asleep when the fairy elder returned from the meeting.

As soon as the fairy elder entered, Stella greeted her: "Elder, you're back! Anna just arrived too, and she's inside watching over Anthony."

The fairy elder was taken aback, then realized, "Anna? Shouldn't she be guarding the clan's territory? She and Anthony seem to be on the same wavelength."

At other times, it might be considered a meeting of minds, but at times like this, someone would go to such lengths to come over from such a distance, which is probably more than just a simple matter.

Hearing the commotion outside, Anna came out as well, and did not flinch or avoid the fairy elder when she saw him.

“I felt that Anthony’s condition was not quite right after he came back, and then I found this. I thought about it for a long time, but I was still worried, so I switched shifts with a friend and came over.”

Anna took out Anthony's diary.

Stella leaned over and read a couple of pages, discovering that Anthony's writing was filled with words of pain and self-abandonment.

The fairy elder frowned and thought for a moment, then said to Anna, "Thank you, Anna, but there's no need to worry now. Anthony has fully recovered."

"That's good," Anna said, feigning relief. "Elder, what exactly is Anthony's illness? Why couldn't you find out when we were in the clan's territory?"

“Anthony is not ill, but cursed,” the fairy elder said with some shame. “We only felt that Anthony was not in good condition, but we did not think of that possibility. Fortunately, we did not miss the opportunity for treatment.”

“We have to thank Robert and Damian for this,” the fairy elder said with a smile, “Robert accompanied Damian to the amusement park and happened to notice that Anthony was not in a good condition, which saved his life.”

Damian closed the book and echoed the fairy elder's words: "I didn't do anything. Discovering the curse and lifting the curse were all Robert's credit."

"But it's because of you that Robert went to the amusement park," the fairy elder lied through his teeth.

Damian guessed that this was their new line of conversation. He glanced at Stella and, seeing that she didn't object, said apologetically, "Actually, I was going to see Stella. I heard that Stella was in the infirmary and thought she was sick."

Stella chimed in at the opportune moment: "I was originally going to the amusement park with Reed and the others, but I noticed that Anthony was acting strangely, so I suggested that he go to the infirmary to see the elven healer."

The fairy elder was very satisfied with their reaction and clapped his hands to conclude: "Although they are all coincidences, it is precisely because of these coincidences that Anthony was able to successfully break the curse. The gods are looking out for him."

The fairy elder waved his hand and said, "When we return to the fairy territory, I plan to hold a banquet to celebrate Anthony's recovery. Stella and Damian, if you can come, you must attend!"

Stella said she would ask the king, and Damian said she would ask Robert; neither of them could decide for themselves.

The fairy elder understood: "Damian, you could have invited Robert along. We owe a lot to him this time."

“I will tell him,” Damian agreed. “I’d also like to see where Stella used to study.”

“That might be a bit difficult,” Stella joked. “You’re too big. The fairy school is too small to fit you.”

Damian said with some regret, "I don't know the Shrinking Charm yet. It seems I'll have to wait until I learn it before I go."

The two of them were singing in unison, and it was clear they had a very good relationship.

The fairy elder smiled and told them to go back first.

Anna was originally going to leave and move to another room, but she volunteered to take care of Anthony, so it became the fairy elder who left and moved to another room.

Since they were all going out anyway, the fairy elder stopped at the door: "I'll walk a few more steps and take you back."

“If you get distracted by something else along the way, and Robert and Wang come to me for the cubs, I won’t be able to hand them over.”

Stella and Damian said in unison, "We won't!"

That's what they said, but they didn't actually reject the fairy elder.

After they turned the corner and left, chatting and laughing all the way, the window of Anthony's room was finally closed.

Damian only spoke when they arrived at Robert's studio, with no unsuspecting outsiders present.

"When I was talking about how Anthony was blessed by the gods, I saw Anna clench her fist at her side and then quickly relax it."
