Quick Transmigration: Survive to the End
Chapter 548 World 6
Stella's eyes widened, and she dashed off like an arrow.
"My king, the elf cubs are about to be born!"
"Thank you, Stella, for bringing me good news," the Elf King said, catching her and placing her on his shoulder before using magic to notify all the elves in the Elf City.
Soon after they arrived at the mother tree, elves began to arrive excitedly one after another.
Some of the elves carried bows and arrows, some wore half-finished flower wreaths, and some carried small baskets filled with fruit.
Clearly, they were all busy with their own things before receiving the news. Upon learning that a new cub was about to be born, they arrived without even having time to pack their belongings, afraid of missing the crucial moment.
Before long, all the elves in the Elf Forest had arrived.
Without Stella's guidance, they quickly discovered the cracks in the embryo.
The elves, now devoid of their usual elegance and aloofness, craned their necks, staring longingly at the crack.
Perhaps because there were too many spirits present, the development of the rift temporarily stopped.
Stella flew up and circled around, encouraging the cub: "Good boy, keep going! Once you come out, we can play together."
Upon hearing Stella's voice, the sound of fruit cracking came again, and a crack appeared in another direction.
For a moment, the cheers and encouragement from the elves filled the air.
At dusk, the crack in the fruit finally opened up, but the elf cub didn't emerge from the embryo until the night sky was filled with stars.
Albert, who had defeated the other elves early in the morning and become the guide for the cubs, immediately went forward to wrap the cubs in blankets to keep them warm, his face beaming with an incredibly irritating smile.
Elf cubs spend a long time growing in the embryonic stage, so after birth they have a body similar to a three-year-old human child.
After he opened his eyes, he didn't need to search much to pinpoint Stella's location.
But before they could say anything, the little cub was overwhelmed by the elves who came to give them gifts.
Although the cub couldn't get close to Stella at this time, in the days that followed, the cub's favorite thing, besides sleeping, was to spend time in the same room with Stella.
Several months later, the Elven amusement park was partially completed.
Upon receiving the news, the fairy clan packed up all the minors in their clan and sent them over.
"Stella!"
Stella had barely arrived at the meeting place when she was embraced by three little fairies.
"Stella, is this the surprise you asked Blue to tell us about? It's absolutely amazing!"
Reed flew into the air and danced a celebratory dance before returning to her: "I didn't expect this place to be so big, big enough to accommodate so many of us little fairies playing together."
Grey said, "I heard that only a small part of it has been repaired. Once it's fully repaired, it will be able to accommodate all the elves and fairies. That means we can play games with the elders!"
As they spoke, Rhett and Grey held hands and flew into the air, happily singing their newly written song.
Blue was actually very happy too, but he was able to restrain himself, so he just quietly gave Stella a thumbs up: "Stella, you are amazing!"
“It’s not that I’m amazing,” Stella blushed at the praise and quickly explained, “I just came up with an idea. Garcia and the other elves did the rest. They are the ones who are really amazing.”
Before Blue could retort, a childish voice came from the side: "Stella is amazing."
When Blue and the others looked over, they saw a chimera elf cub with three heads, dressed in cute little clothes, earnestly praising Stella.
Without Stella even needing to introduce him, Blue and all the little fairies present knew who he was: "You must be Damian, right? It's our first time meeting, so we brought you a gift!"
“Thank you,” the cub Damian said in a serious tone, then looked at Stella expectantly.
Stella knew what he meant and stopped on his head.
Damian then smiled with satisfaction, and when he spoke to the little fairies again, his tone became much softer and more gentle.
Stella didn't need to fly in mid-air herself, so she could look around with peace of mind, and she soon noticed something was wrong.
Wang clearly said he would come early, but now it's almost time to enter the park and he still hasn't shown up. Is something holding him up?
Stella was lost in thought and gradually drifted off into a daze.
"Stella, Stella?" Grey waved her hand in front of her eyes, finally bringing her back to her senses.
"Sorry," Stella said, still a little confused, "Grey, what did you guys just tell me?"
“It’s okay, no need to apologize,” Grey leaned closer to her. “We were just discussing where to go first.”
“Reed wants to challenge monsters, Blue wants to solve detective puzzles, I want to see the place where the game is planted, and Damian says he wants to go with you.”
"So, Stella, where are you planning to go first?"
Before Stella could answer, her attention was drawn to the newly appeared Elf King.
Although on the surface the Elf King seemed to be doing nothing wrong, Stella, who had spent a lot of time with him, could sense that he was not in a good mood, and was even somewhat depressed.
Just as the Elf King finished his speech and the cubs were about to enter the garden, Stella flew up from Damian's head.
"You guys have fun. I suddenly remembered that I forgot to tell Wang something."
Damian, though puffing out his cheeks, didn't stop her and followed the little fairies inside, turning back every few steps.
When Stella landed on the Elf King's shoulder, he was somewhat surprised: "Why didn't Stella go inside?"
Stella tilted her head and looked at him for a moment: "Is the king unhappy? Has something happened?"
The Elf King was somewhat surprised. He took her back to his study and said, "A dragon cub has gone missing, and a mermaid's baby was almost killed."
"What a coincidence?" Stella frowned. "Your Majesty, there must be something wrong here."
The Elf King reached out and gently smoothed the wrinkles between her brows: "The Merfolk have completely sealed off their territory and severed all contact with the outside world, but the Dragons have already left Dragon Island."
Stella pursed her lips and after a long pause said, "The dragons are going to join the war."
The Elf King looked up towards Dragon Island, and after a moment asked, "Does Stella want to stop them?"
“Me?” Stella didn’t understand why the Elf King asked that, just as she didn’t understand why the Elf King would ask her to relight the extinguished candle.
But setting everything else aside, and thinking like a simple little fairy, Stella nodded in agreement: "If I knew there was a problem ahead, I would definitely want to stop it. Dragons are allies of us elves and fairies."
“Very well,” the Elf King said gently, “shall we go together?”
Stella asked, "To Dragon Island?"
“No,” said the Elf King, “of course we should go to a place where the immediate problem can be solved.”
