Ben10: A Romantic Adventure with a Gender-Swapped Class

Chapter 547 Two People from the Future [4]

Mo Bai suddenly looked up, her face filled with surprise.

But then he felt relieved—yes, he was who he used to be, how could the other person not understand his resentment and longing? The feeling was strange and eerie.

However, Mo Ge's rare moment of tenderness was fleeting.

He turned around abruptly, exaggeratedly slamming his other palm with one hand, making a crisp "smack" sound. His face returned to its nonchalant expression, as if the conversation had never happened.

“But judging by the time, we should head to the cockpit now!” He said in a light tone, with an undeniable urgency. “Let’s go!” With that, he strode forward without lingering.

Mo Bai took a deep breath, suppressing the surging emotions in her heart, and quickly followed Mo Ge's back.

Inside the cockpit, the scene was completely different.

Sister Ban (the future Little Ban) sat steadily in the driver's seat, her hands moving nimbly across the complex control panel, her eyes focused intently on the road ahead.

Dr. Contradiction was standing next to the passenger seat, leaning slightly forward, explaining something to the little boy in the seat whose face clearly said "I'm listening but I don't understand," while his fingers traced complex trajectories in the air.

"The Yamagaton Magic Disc can be used to enter multiple dimensions," Dr. Contradiction's voice was deep and clear, as if he were imparting ancient cosmic secrets.

As soon as Mo Ge stepped into the cockpit, his eyes swept over the scene, and a smile immediately appeared on his lips, as if he was enjoying watching a good show.

He deliberately raised his voice, and shouted at the driver's seat with obvious mockery.

"If Kevin saw this, he'd be furious!" He couldn't help but laugh at the thought of the car-obsessed guy seeing Ben (even if it was from the future) sitting in the cockpit of his beloved spaceship.

This joke really hit a nerve.

As everyone knows, Ben (in the past and future) has a terrifying "talent" when it comes to driving vehicles—from broken-down cars on Earth to spaceships, any vehicle that passes through her "hands" will either break down or explode. Kevin has gone crazy over this countless times and even specially formulated a vehicle security regulation to "prevent fire, theft, and vandalism by Ben".

Sure enough, upon hearing Mo Ge's "precision strike," Ban Jie didn't even turn her head. She simply leaned back indifferently, sinking into the spacious driver's seat, her hands still firmly gripping the control panel, her tone as relaxed as if she were discussing the weather.

“It’s not like we’ll miss out on one more,” she even shrugged playfully. “And if it transforms into some alien monster, a little hero, a quirky creature, or the Clock King,” she rattled off a string of alien hero names, “it’ll be a piece of cake. There’s absolutely nothing to worry about!” Her tone was brimming with a mysterious confidence in her “repair” abilities.

Mo Ge scoffed without any politeness, walked to the side and behind Ban Jie, crossed his arms and continued to undermine her.

“But every time you cause his car to stall, he won’t let you touch his beloved car. The look in his eyes, tsk tsk, like he’s guarding against a thief!” He imitated Kevin’s frantic expression perfectly.

"So much so that I remember one time, Kevin, after much agonizing, went all out and modified that precious little car into a super-sturdy version, supposedly fireproof, theft-proof, and vandal-proof Ben! And what happened?" He shrugged, making an explosion gesture, "Then a cursed witch casually tossed out a spell, and it was reduced to ashes! You didn't see Kevin's face then, hahaha."

As the two of them went on and on, relentlessly exposing each other's shortcomings, Dr. Mao Dun's brows furrowed deeper and deeper.

He glanced at the past version of Ben listening intently, even somewhat eager to try, then looked at the future version of Ben in the pilot's seat with a face that screamed "I did nothing wrong, I'll do it again next time," and the future version of Mo Bai fanning the flames beside him. A deep sense of powerlessness and worry about the fate of the spaceship welled up within him.

He sighed silently in his heart.

He was just explaining those bizarre parallel worlds to Ben from the past—the timeline where Wen became an Omnitrix holder, the timeline where Abedo was trapped in Superman X form for a year in despair, the timeline where Ben became a cosmic tyrant...

But now it seems that the real-world crisis brought about by the "troublesome duo" is no less than that of those parallel worlds.

"The Yamagaton Magic Disc can be used to enter multiple dimensions," Dr. Contradiction subconsciously repeated the key information, as if reminding himself of the purpose of this trip.

He habitually lowered his head and glanced at the old pocket watch in his hand, which seemed to be in sync with the pulse of the universe.

"Please speed things up."

Upon hearing Dr. Contradiction's words, Sister Ban's hands moved without hesitation, quickly pushing the accelerator lever.

Instead, a slightly intrigued smile curved her lips as she began to complain.

"Wow, that's unusual! Usually, people just kick me off the ship!" This upgrade in treatment is a bit sudden.

Dr. Maodun had no time to explain and spoke at breakneck speed.

"Because the cross-dimensional portal will open at this time, right..." He pointed towards the cargo hold, before he could finish speaking—

boom! ! !

The entire "Old Broken Car No. 2" seemed to have been violently struck by an invisible cosmic behemoth.

The ship emitted a tooth-grinding metallic groan, violently rocking from side to side and pitching up and down.

The warning lights on the control panel flashed wildly, and the red warning light instantly flooded the cockpit.

A dull, eerie impact came from the direction of the cargo hold, as if some enormous creature was forcibly squeezing into the hold.

In the instant that chaos descended, Dr. Contradiction's figure became blurred and transparent, like a sand painting scattered by a strong wind.

His last words, tinged with a barely perceptible urgency, pierced through the piercing alarm and reached everyone's ears clearly.

"Then good luck to you, see you on land!"

As soon as he finished speaking, his figure vanished completely from the spot, as if he had never been there at all.

Seeing this, everyone left Sister Ban there, since someone had to stay behind to pilot the spaceship.

The rest of the group went to the cargo hold and saw the magic disk shaking violently and emitting a lot of purple energy.
