Princess Changning's Residence

Gong Beige, along with Wen Lang and his group, stormed back to the flower hall. He abruptly sat down in the main seat and swept the tea set off the table, shattering it on the floor.

Everyone was so frightened that they knelt down on the ground, too scared to even breathe.

Wen Lang remained relatively calm, slowly walking to Gong Beige's side. Suppressing the fear in his eyes, he softly comforted her:

"Your Highness, please calm down. Why let a lowly woman upset you and harm your noble body?"

Gong Beige glanced at him coldly, the corners of her mouth curving into a hard, icy smile:

"You're truly useless. You made such a fuss over killing a mere merchant, and not only did you fail to kill her, but you also got dragged into this mess by her. You've completely disgraced my princess's residence. You deserve to die!"

Wen Lang gritted his teeth:

"Your Highness, I truly don't know when that wretched woman became so troublesome. She wasn't like this before, she really wasn't!"

Gong Beige interrupted him impatiently:

"Stop your nonsense, I don't want to listen to your rubbish. I just want to know how this bitch can die! No, I want her whole family to die!"

As Wen Lang's eyes flickered, a smile suddenly curved his lips:

"Princess, I have an idea!"

Gong Beige, too lazy to keep him in suspense, impatiently snapped:

"If you fart, let it go!"

A hint of embarrassment flashed in Wen Lang's eyes. He glanced at the servant kneeling to one side, then hesitated to speak.

Gong Beige noticed his hesitation and waved impatiently:

"You all go down."

Everyone felt as if they had been granted a pardon. They all bent over and crawled back a few steps until they reached the door, at which point they dared to stand up and run out in single file.

After everyone left, Gong Beige snorted coldly:

You'd better really have some ideas!

Wen Lang's sinister smile remained resolute:

"Princess, rest assured, my method will not only take Yu Shuyan's life, but will also make the entire Yu family, whom she cares about, pay for her death!"

Gong Beige became interested:

"tell me the story!"

Wen Lang didn't dare to keep them in suspense and said softly:

"That Yu Shuyan isn't arrogant; she's going to give something to Her Highness the Grand Princess."

Gong Beige shot a sharp glare at Wen Lang:

"Hmm~"

Wen Lang was startled, then instantly understood, and hurriedly said:

“I misspoke. I was referring to Gong Qiuyan’s son, Zhou Yunchen.”

Gong Beige raised an eyebrow:

You mean ~!

Wen Lang nodded hurriedly in agreement:

"Your Highness is indeed wise and perceptive. As long as Zhou Yunchen is dead, Gong Qiuyan will tear Yu Shuyan and her entire family apart, saving us the trouble of getting our hands dirty."

Gong Beige nodded slightly, then, as if remembering something, said:

“But I think Yu Shuyan is very confident about curing Zhou Yunchen.”

Wen Lang's smile, however, was chilling:

"With Master Ouyang Xu here, it would be a piece of cake for us to make Zhou Yunchen die of poisoning without knowing it."

Gong Beige suddenly realized:

"I almost forgot about my master. Go find him now and tell him that I ordered you to prepare poison and arrange for shadow guards to secretly poison Zhou Yunchen after Yu Shuyan finishes treating that bastard. I want to see if Gong Qiuyan will still protect that bitch after she kills him!"

Wen Lang seemed to have already envisioned the horrific scene of Yu Shuyan's entire family being wiped out, a gleeful and sinister light flashing in his eyes:

"Your Highness is wise!"

Gong Beige looked at him with disgust and snorted coldly:

"At least you have some brains. Killing Zhou Yunchen and making Gong Qiuyan suffer unbearable pain will allow me to use someone else to wipe out the entire Yu family. That's quite satisfying."

Wen Lang clasped his hands in a gesture of respect:

"Your Highness is too kind. I would gladly die for Your Highness as long as it helps you vent your anger."

Gong Beige suddenly frowned:

"Wen Lang, don't forget my warning. Just stick to your title of imperial son-in-law; don't even think about anything else, or else..."

Although the rest was not stated, the warning was self-evident.

Wen Lang quickly lowered his head, concealing the resentment and humiliation in his eyes, and clasped his hands in a fist salute:

"Your Highness, rest assured, I understand!"

Seeing that he knew what was good for him, Gong Beige's eyes showed satisfaction, but also a deeper contempt. She let out a soft, cold snort.

"What a spineless coward!"

Wen Lang clenched his fists tightly, but forced himself not to show any resentment.

But he really didn't understand why Gong Beige would marry him if she didn't like him.

If she didn't like him as a person, what else could she possibly like about him?

In terms of family background and education, he asked himself, there were far more people than him.

What exactly did Gong Beige see in him?

"Your Highness, I have important news to report!"

A guard with a full beard hurried in.

Gong Beige looked at Wen Lang, who was still standing there dumbfounded, bowing and clasping his hands in a gesture of respect. His impatience deepened, and he coldly shouted:

"What are you standing there for? Go now!"

Wen Lang was startled, snapping out of his thoughts, and quickly said:

"Yes, I'll go find Master Ouyang Xu right away."

Watching him coldly leave the room, Gong Beige disdainfully withdrew his gaze and looked at the bearded guard:

"Wang An, what's the matter that you're in such a hurry?"

Wang An looked excited:

"Your Highness, we've found that wicked woman who escaped. She's hiding in Yanggang Village, a small village nestled in a mountain valley not far from our camp."

A sinister smile curled at the corner of Gong Beige's lips:

"not dead?"

Wang An nodded:

"She didn't die; she was rescued by a family in the village. However, I don't know if she told that family anything. So, I came back to ask Your Highness what to do now?"

Gong Beige frowned slightly:

"Wang An, you're getting more and more backward as you get older. Do you really need to ask me for permission to do something like this?"

Wang An noticed her displeasure, so he quickly knelt on one knee, clasped his hands in greeting, and said:

“Your Highness, although that village is nestled in a mountain valley, it’s not entirely desolate. That family has quite a few members. If they all suddenly die, I’m afraid the other villagers might cause trouble!”

Gong Beige, however, said completely unconcerned:

"Then just make the whole village disappear, wouldn't that be great!"

Wang An's eyes suddenly widened:

"Your Highness, the village has more than three hundred people!"

Gong Beige sneered:

"So what? They're lucky to be willing to die for me."

Wang An concealed the shock in his eyes and hesitated before saying:

"If that's the case, I'm afraid it will cause a bigger commotion, and if it attracts unnecessary trouble, and if our camp is exposed then..."

Gong Beige frowned slightly:

That matter was of utmost importance to her.

She absolutely could not allow any mishaps.

After a slight hesitation, his eyes suddenly brightened:

"What's so difficult about that? I have a plan. Even if we kill those lowly people, it won't attract anyone else. In fact, it will make that mountain valley a place that no one will dare to set foot in again!"

As he spoke, his eyes were filled with suppressed ruthlessness and excitement!
