Chu Yun dodged to the side, and the dark figure missed its target. It finally managed to stop and turned around abruptly, staring straight at Chu Yun with a resentful look in its eyes. "Sister, why are you avoiding me?"

Chu Yun finally saw his face clearly: a fair-skinned young man, dressed in black with two swords, his jet-black hair cascading down his back, the ends whipped up by the wind and swaying in all directions, the arrogance in his eyes completely gone, leaving only clarity.

The boy looked at her, his eyes filled with amazement.

"Chu Wenshu, you're dead!" In the brief moment between the two's stares, the group of people caught up. One of the young men in white drew his sword and thrust it forward, cursing Chu Wenshu as he charged at him with a fierce sword strike.

The young man, Chu Wenshu, stepped back with a light touch of his toes. The sharp blade was almost touching his throat, but Chu Wenshu was not afraid at all. He lowered his waist even further and, using some unknown technique, he instantly teleported behind the white-robed youth. He struck the youth's back with a palm, and the youth fell to the ground like a bird with broken wings, his sword flying several feet away.

Chu Wenshu straightened up, not even glancing at him, and turned to the astonished crowd, saying, "Did you see that clearly? If you dare to keep chasing me, you'll end up like him."

The young man in white was a five-star disciple of the inner sect, possessing formidable strength. Yet, he was defeated by Chu Wenshu in a single move. The people who had been chasing after Chu Wenshu were both shocked and frightened, hesitating to step forward, their previous arrogance completely gone.

"If you want to fight, then fight; if you don't, then get lost," Chu Wenshu said coldly.

These words enraged the intimidated crowd. One of them, his face ashen, shouted, "How dare you, an outsider of unknown origin, be so arrogant? Do you really think we're afraid of you?"

After he finished speaking, he suddenly rushed out, and the others followed suit, attacking Chu Wenshu together.

Chu Wenshu rolled his eyes so hard they almost reached the sky. Besides finding these people nonsensical, he was also annoyed by their unknown origins. He drew his twin swords and moved like a ghost, charging into the crowd like a whirlwind sweeping away fallen leaves. Wherever he went, people fell one after another.

Finally, he sheathed his sword and said coldly, "A bunch of trash."

He didn't kill them; the people on the ground only suffered minor injuries. But as Chu Wenshu said, they were truly useless. So many people were defeated so quickly and so miserably. They were embarrassed and could only lie on the ground pretending to be dead.

Chu Wenshu looked around but didn't see the person he wanted to see, and his eyes darkened slightly.

His body was restless, and something in the darkness guided him to look up. To his surprise, he saw that red figure, who felt so familiar to him, sitting on the high courtyard wall. The red skirt hung down, fluttering in the wind like a feather, scratching at Chu Wenshu's heart.

He smiled at Chu Yun, channeled his inner strength, leaped up, and landed steadily beside her, sitting down side by side with her.

"Sister, why are you sitting here?" He smiled gently, his tone calm and light, with the innocence and purity that one would expect at his age, a stark contrast to his earlier act of wielding a knife and injuring someone.

"You were fighting down there and blocking my way, so I had to find a quiet place to wait for you to finish fighting," Chu Yun said calmly.

Chu Wenshu scratched his head, somewhat embarrassed, his face turning red. "I'm sorry."

Chu Yun leaned forward, staring intently at him, her eyes full of inquiry. "Who exactly are you? Why are they chasing you? And why are you so close to me, calling me 'sister'?"

The closer distance made Chu Wenshu uncomfortable. He leaned back slightly, turned his head, and whispered, "I don't know who I am."

"What do you mean?" Chu Yun pressed.

Chu Wenshu still tilted his head, "I have amnesia, I don't remember anything, I only know that my name is Chu Wenshu."

As the woman's fragrance faded away, Chu Wenshu turned his head and found Chu Yun looking at him with suspicion. He couldn't help but say, "If you don't believe me, you can ask that so-called Medical Sage. He said I have amnesia, and I really don't remember anything."

Seeing that Chu Yun remained silent, he continued, "Those people pursue me only because the people they like all like me, and they are just jealous."

Chu Yun was completely bewildered. She frowned and stared at Chu Wenshu, puzzled and shocked. "What did you say?"

"It's true. I'm good-looking, so it's normal that many people like me, isn't it? I didn't do anything today, but several women gave me things. Here they are." Chu Wenshu said, pointing to his belt, which was covered with seven or eight sachets of different colors and sizes, which could not possibly have been made by the same person.

Chu Yun twitched the corner of her mouth. "I'll assume what you're saying is true for now, but it seems there's some reason why they hit you."

"Sister, what are you saying? They chased after me for no reason and wanted to hit me. Is it my fault?" Chu Wenshu said unhappily, her lips pouting so much that they could almost hang an oil bottle on them.

"Are you really unaware, or are you pretending not to know?" Chu Yun's gaze swept over Chu Wenshu from head to toe.

"Know what?" Chu Wenshu asked, puzzled.

"People of the martial world don't care about formalities. It's understandable that those women who like you would give you sachets, and no one could criticize you for accepting them. But you've accepted so many at once. Are you planning to accept all their affections and enjoy the blessings of having multiple wives? Not to mention their admirers wouldn't like it, I would want to hit you too," Chu Yun said slowly.

Chu Wenshu was startled and almost jumped off the courtyard wall. He stared at Chu Yun with wide eyes, waved his hands repeatedly, and stammered, "I...I, I had no such intention. I just accepted a sachet. I didn't think it was a big deal. Besides, if they hadn't promised to cook delicious food for me, how could I have accepted these sachets?"

As he spoke, he haphazardly tore off the sachet hanging from his belt and tossed it on the ground.

"You said you didn't know what it meant to accept a sachet from a woman?" Chu Yun asked, puzzled.

Chu Wenshu nodded emphatically.

"You also said you accepted the sachets because those women promised to cook delicious food for you?" Chu Yun asked again.

Chu Wenshu nodded again, "Yes."

After figuring out what had happened, Chu Yun was both amused and exasperated. She shook her head helplessly and muttered to herself, "Is that really how it is?"

“That’s right. I have no desire to have two women on my hands. In my eyes, they are not as pleasing as a plate of pastries,” Chu Wenshu agreed.

He then whispered, "In short, my sister feels more approachable to me than the others."

Chu Yun glanced at him sideways, "Is this why you call me 'sister'?"

Chu Wenshu's eyes shone brightly as he stared intently at Chu Yun. "Sister, you are so beautiful. I am delighted to see you and feel a deep sense of familiarity with you. It's as if we have met before."

Chu Yun was speechless. "You only got these gifts because of your sweet talk and good looks, right?"

"Sister, please don't disbelieve me, I truly love you," Chu Wenshu hurriedly said.
