Looking at Huo Muchen's slightly mysterious expression, Gu Heng became even more curious:

"How was the girl I brought to your house this morning? Do you think she's suitable?"

Upon hearing this, Huo Muchen was immediately confused:

"What girl? Was anyone here this morning?"

Seeing that Huo Muchen seemed to have forgotten, Gu Heng reminded him:

"It's that girl from the bar the other day, the one you even took a bottle of wine for. I arranged for her to work at your house this morning."

Huo Muchen suddenly realized that the girl who greeted him that morning was the same one from the bar that day. He just hadn't recognized her at all.

"What do you mean by taking a bottle for her? I wasn't paying attention and got ambushed, okay?"

Huo Muchen said, somewhat speechless.

"And who gave you permission to bring her to my house?"

Gu Heng touched his nose and smiled somewhat awkwardly:

"Huh? I thought you had your eye on her that night, and I was thinking you were looking for a change of pace. Now it seems she's not your type?"

Huo Muchen rolled his eyes at Gu Heng, shook his head, and said nothing more. His impression of that girl was still stuck in the vague memory of that night, and he needed time to sort out his thoughts.

"How about we go relax tonight?"

Gu Heng raised one eyebrow slightly, a relaxed smile on his lips as he made the suggestion.

After hearing this, a thoughtful look flashed in Huo Muchen's eyes, then he smiled slightly, responding with a touch of unruly roguishness:

"It's not impossible."

"Okay, let's get together after get off work. I'm heading out to work now."

As he spoke, Gu Heng walked towards the door, while Huo Muchen continued to bury himself in his work and ignored him.

"It's already eight o'clock, why hasn't President Huo returned yet?"

Lin Xiangyao glanced at her phone, her brows furrowing slightly, her tone tinged with urgency and frustration.

Seeing Lin Xiangyao's state, Liu Shiyin gently comforted her:

"He's probably out socializing, he'll probably be back soon."

She tried to ease Lin Xiangyao's tension, but Lin Xiangyao didn't seem to listen and just walked away on her own.

Liu Shiyin felt somewhat embarrassed and confused. Looking at Lin Xiangyao, who ignored her, Liu Shiyin didn't show much emotion.

She just thought that maybe Lin Xiangyao was simply a little tired or in a bad mood. With that thought in mind, she continued walking towards the restaurant.

"Hello, Mr. Gu. I'm sorry to bother you, but I wanted to ask if you know where Mr. Huo is? Why hasn't he returned yet?"

Lin Xiangyao finally couldn't hold back any longer and called Gu Heng.

Gu Heng looked at his phone, raising an eyebrow slightly. He felt somewhat bewildered, as if he were being checked up on. He couldn't help but chuckle, thinking that Lin Xiangyao was truly overestimating herself.

"Oh, we're at the bar, the one from last time. Would you like to come over?"

Gu Heng answered casually, his tone revealing a hint of provocation.

"Okay, I'll be there in a bit."

Upon hearing Gu Heng's words, Lin Xiangyao's eyes flashed with excitement. She immediately hung up the phone and began preparing to go to her room to change her clothes. However, when she turned around and saw the pure and lovely Liu Shiyin, a new thought welled up in her heart.

She didn't want Huo Muchen to think she was too proactive or too casual, so she decided to invite Liu Shiyin to accompany her to the bar.

Lin Xiangyao walked to Liu Shiyin's side and said softly:

"Shion, I want to go out and buy some personal items. Can you come with me?"

Looking at Lin Xiangyao's expectant eyes, Liu Shiyin smiled and nodded:

"Yes, of course."
