Love is as vast as the Milky Way, impossible to cross.

Finally, one of the shop assistants mustered up the courage and stammered:

"Mr. Huo... Mr. Huo, when this lady came to try on clothes, we did our best to serve her, but when she came out of the second dress, we found that there was a tear in the back, and... and the clothes she chose were the most expensive in our store... We tried to communicate to solve this problem, but later... later we found that this lady couldn't do any of the solutions, so..."

At this point, the shop assistant's voice trailed off, becoming almost inaudible. They knew how weak and ineffective their explanation was. Whatever the reason, they shouldn't have treated their customers this way.

Just as Liu Shiyin was about to speak in her defense, she heard Huo Muchen speak up from beside her.

"She picked out the clothes?"

The shop assistant thought for a moment and then spoke.

"We helped her take down the first one. When this young lady went into the fitting room, Ms. Qin asked us to take down the second one. The second one stayed with Ms. Qin until the young lady came out of the fitting room. Ms. Qin said the first one didn't look good and handed the second one to her."

Huo Muchen listened without speaking, his brows furrowing slightly as if he were deep in thought.

"Turn on the surveillance footage and show the time when Qin Xiang was given the second outfit,"

Huo Muchen spoke up,

"Yes, Mr. Huo,"

The store manager rushed to the computer to check the surveillance footage. However, the footage showed that after the dress was in Qin Xiang's hands, she turned her back to her, and didn't do so until she handed the dress to Liu Shiyin.

Seeing this, Huo Muchen seemed to understand something, but he also knew that he couldn't draw conclusions easily without solid evidence.

"Get out of the way, I need to go in now,"

Qin Xiang, blocked at the door, growled angrily. Her voice was full of displeasure and impatience, clearly indicating her strong dissatisfaction with this treatment.

The security guard looked at her, a hint of apology on his face.

"I'm sorry, Miss Qin, no one can come in right now."

His words were firm and forceful; though tinged with apology, his attitude left no room for argument. Qin Xiang's anger intensified; her eyes widened as she glared at the security personnel.

"Do you even know who I am? I'm Qin Xiang! How dare you treat me like this?"

The security personnel bowed slightly, but maintained their stance.

"Miss Qin, I'm very sorry, but Mr. Huo has ordered that no one is allowed to enter at this time."

Hearing that it was Huo Muchen's arrangement, Qin Xiang's anger seemed to be extinguished by a bucket of cold water. She knew Huo Muchen's temper and his decisions well, and knew that no one could easily change his mind. She gritted her teeth, glared at the security personnel, and then pushed her wheelchair to the side.

She had originally planned to return after the sales clerk had finished humiliating Liu Shiyin, but she hadn't expected Huo Muchen to come. Had he discovered something? Thinking this, Qin Xiang felt a little scared. Just as she was lost in thought, her phone rang. Seeing Huo Muchen calling, she was startled.

Qin Xiang took a deep breath, trying her best to make her voice sound gentle and natural:

"Mu Chen, where are you?"

"I was at the shop where you and Liu Shiyin were trying on clothes,"

Huo Muchen replied,

"Where have you been? I haven't seen you for so long!"

Huo Muchen continued to ask, his tone sounding natural, without directly mentioning the clothes.

Qin Xiang breathed a sigh of relief, but the unease in her heart had not completely dissipated. She tried her best to remain calm and replied:

"Oh, I just went to the restroom, but when I went back, the security guard wouldn't let me in. I was really angry, so I took a taxi back."

"is it?"

Huo Muchen clearly didn't believe it, but he didn't investigate further.

"Then you should go back and rest first."

He hung up the phone after saying that.
