As he watched the people coming and going around him, Huo Muchen's eyes were fixed on Liu Shiyin like a cheetah eyeing its prey.

He didn't give Liu Shiyin any chance to react. His movements were swift and decisive. He grabbed her arm and forcefully pulled her towards the private room next to him.

Liu Shiyin was somewhat disoriented by Huo Muchen's sudden action. Her mind went blank, and she could only let him pull her forward. "Why are you here?"

Huo Muchen's tone revealed a strange emotion.

Liu Shiyin nodded without saying anything more. She felt Huo Muchen's gaze lingering on her, as if he wanted to find out more.

Huo Muchen remained silent for a moment, seemingly deep in thought. Then he spoke slowly, his voice tinged with complexity:

Why do you spend every break with him?

Liu Shiyin couldn't refute his words, because he had seen her with Zhao Zixun during both breaks.

"you like him?"

Huo Muchen suddenly asked,

Liu Shiyin immediately shook her head in denial. She had never, dared not, and would never have imagined having any emotional entanglement with people like them.
