As Huo Muchen spoke, he gently lifted Qin Xiang up in his arms.

Although Qin Xiang had many grievances in her heart, she was speechless in the face of Huo Muchen's gentle actions and did not know how to speak. She could only let him carry her back to the room on the first floor.

Lying in bed, Qin Xiang was filled with turmoil.

Why did Huo Muchen bring Liu Shiyin back? Who exactly is Liu Shiyin? These questions swirled in her mind, intensifying her resentment.

Early in the morning, Qin Xiang got up lazily and found Huo Muchen already sitting in the dining room enjoying breakfast.

However, when she noticed Liu Shiyin standing next to her, she found her extremely annoying.

Qin Xiang was pushed to the dining table by the maid. Looking at the exquisite breakfast laid out on the table, she deliberately said:

"Please prepare a cup of coffee and a slice of bread for me."

"Okay, Miss Qin, please wait a moment,"

After answering, Liu Shiyin turned and went into the kitchen to prepare.

After Liu Shiyin left, Qin Xiang immediately went to Huo Muchen's side and asked softly:

"Are you going to the company today?"

Huo Muchen looked up at her and nodded slightly:

"Yes, there are some things that need to be taken care of."

His voice was calm and low, but it didn't seem to have much emotional fluctuation.

Qin Xiang continued to ask:

"Can I come with you?"

Her eyes shone with anticipation, hoping to gain Huo Muchen's approval.

"You should rest at home, or go out with friends. I'll be back early this afternoon."

Qin Xiang felt a sense of loss after hearing this. As she turned her wheelchair to leave, she unexpectedly bumped into Liu Shiyin, who was carrying a cup of coffee.

Seeing that the scalding coffee was about to spill onto Qin Xiang, Liu Shiyin reacted quickly and reached out to block the spilled coffee, but some of the liquid still splashed onto Qin Xiang's arm and the back of her hand.

Liu Shiyin also felt a burning pain in her arms and hands at this moment.

She knew Qin Xiang's identity; she was just a servant and had no right to argue with her.

"Aunt Wang, bring me the burn ointment."

Huo Muchen quickly picked up Qin Xiang, carefully carried her into the room, and gently placed her on the soft bed.

He then turned to Aunt Wang and instructed her to take good care of Qin Xiang.

After making the arrangements, Huo Muchen left Qin Xiang's room and went to the living room, but did not see Liu Shiyin. He then walked towards the kitchen.
