There is a beast: (Hundred Explanations)

Chapter 8 The Wonderful Uses of Faith

Bai Jie was pondering. She had used Time Reversal once before, so why hadn't her proficiency with the Time Reversal skill increased? Her little face furrowed.

Many wispy white energies are drifting in from afar. Huh? What are those?

"Pfft! They seem to be coming for me, I'd better get out of here!" Bai Jie tried to escape, but the energy was too fast and disappeared directly into Bai Jie's body.

"Huh? It's gone?" Bai Jie touched her body with her left hand and looked at her tail with her right hand, but it was nowhere to be found.

[Ding~ Gained 21 points of Faith Power]

The power of faith? Is it the kind of faith that humans build and worship with stone statues?!

Bai Jie was shocked. "I only cleared away a few nightmares, and I actually got something like this."

In fact, Bai Jie was wrong. The power of faith does not need the assistance of stone statues; it only requires those people to have a certain degree of faith in him.

What is the use of this power of faith? Bai Jie looked at the 21 units of faith on the panel, not quite understanding, since his system wasn't some kind of intelligent system.

He had tried to communicate with the system before, but the responses he received were either silence or nothing. Since then, he hasn't relied on this simplified version of the system much, except for the AFK skill.

"Huh? Why is there a plus sign here?" Bai Jie looked at her cultivation level and saw a plus sign appear next to it, as well as a plus sign in the skill bar below.

"Could it be?" Bai Jie checked her cultivation level.

My cultivation level went from 1000 to 1100! Wow~ This power of faith is amazing, it actually increased by so much. This Nightmare Extermination Operation was a huge success!

Bai Jie raised his cultivation level to 2000. Looking at the remaining 11 points of faith power, he planned to max out his dream entry ability.

Cultivation level: 2000

Entering the Dream (Great Success) (0/)

Looking at the proficiency required to progress from Mastery to Perfection in the Dream Transformation skill, I couldn't help but twitch at the corner of my mouth. It actually requires so much. But it's understandable. Perfection is the second level of skill proficiency, and it gets harder and harder as you go further. Besides, even if it's expensive, it's only one-tenth the price of the Time Reversal skill.

After mastering the ability to enter dreams, a wondrous power spread throughout his body.

Bai Jie closed her eyes and sensed this advanced power. Was it an attack ability from within the dream?

The attack ability is to transform everything in the dream into threads. By binding the enemy with these threads, the enemy can be restricted and the damage they receive can be increased. This damage is no longer confined to the dream and will be returned to reality.

Bai Jie raised an eyebrow. Isn't this Lao Liu's skill? You can't beat me in real life, huh? Fine! Let's have a dream battle. I'm invincible, you can do whatever you want.

Having experienced the benefits of the power of faith, Bai Jie became excited and prepared to go and experience a few more nightmares.

. . .

Time flies. In these days, Bai Jie has been searching for nightmares that are troubled by evil spirits in the connecting space. To be honest, there are very few nightmares. The total number of nightmares he has found in the past few days is less than the 21 nightmares he found before. Moreover, each nightmare provides a different level of proficiency.

Bai Jie gritted her teeth and said resentfully, "With so few nightmares, how am I supposed to improve myself?!"

I sensed when I would regain consciousness in the outside world and realized that I only had about 100 days left.

Bai Jie sighed. It seemed there were few more nightmares left. She should just leave.

What Bai Jie didn't know was that the reason there were so few nightmares was largely due to his own efforts. There were still very few humans, and so many people had been saved by Bai Jie, all of whom were imbued with her aura. Even powerful evil spirits wouldn't dare to possess them.

Bai Jie lightly tapped the "spoils of war".

[Power of Faith: 35]

Entering the Dream: (2700/)

Time Rewind: (3640/10w)

The results have been decent; at least for the time being, we don't need to worry about our strength.

Looking at the two familiar dream portals not far away, the two little guys finally fell asleep. What have they been doing lately? Why haven't they been sleeping?

With a flick of her small paw, Bai Jie returned to her dream and opened two dream passages, one for Bixie and the other for Tianlu.

"Hundred Solutions~" x2

Two Pixiu (mythical creatures) were placed on either side of Bai Jie, and Bai Jie felt a sense of happiness.

The two Pixiu looked around and realized that this didn't seem to be their dream.

"Bai Jie, Bai Jie~ Is this your dream?" Tianlu looked left and right. Hmm, it was very clean and had a warm feeling to it.

At this moment, Tianlu Bixie saw the Tianlu Bixie doll that Bai Jie had secretly kept, and looked at Bai Jie with a puzzled expression.

Bai Jie's face immediately turned red, and she silently hid the two toys behind her back. Should I say that I forgot to hide them? I always kiss and hug them when I go back to my dreams to rest!

Tianlu ran very fast, and Bixie also came to help. They surrounded Bai Jie from the front and the back.

"Let's take a look!"

Bai Jie looked at them and realized they weren't going to give up. She didn't want to hurt them either, so she decided to just give it to them.

Bai Jie reluctantly handed over the doll.

“This looks just like us! It’s practically identical!” Tianlu exclaimed in surprise.

Bai Jie tilted her head slightly. "Is there even a question? I'm the dream's Kami! Making a little doll is a piece of cake!"

"Can this bring me out of the dream?" Tianlu asked Bai Jie.

Upon hearing this, Bai Jie wondered if she could take it out... His gold bars were real, so Tianlu could easily take them out. But the doll didn't actually exist; it was merely a product of Bai Jie's dream.

Just as she was thinking this, a stream of faith power flew out from Bai Jie's body and merged into the two dolls.

Bai Jie instantly sensed that the two dolls were no longer illusions; they could be brought out of the dream!

After glancing at the panel [Faith Power: 5], the beast was completely dumbfounded. It was just thinking about it! How did it fly out like that? Waaaaaah!

Bixie, who was playing with his doll nearby, noticed that Bai Jie seemed to have suffered a major blow.

Bixie nudged Bai Jie, "Bai Jie, what's wrong?"

"It's nothing, I just feel like I've lost a mountain of gold." Bai Jie lay on the ground, like a salted fish.

"Oh, these two dolls can be taken out of the dream, and you can put them into your dreams when you're not using them," Bai Jie said listlessly to the two Pixiu.

"Yay! I'm going to sleep with it every night! I want my brother's doll!" Tianlu was very happy to receive his new toy.

Bai Jie looked at Tianlu's infectious smile and immediately felt a little better, not so much that she had lost out.

"Bai Jie, when are you going to wake up? Bi Xie and I have both learned to swim! But you haven't! The ocean is huge! There are all kinds of fish. We put some fish in your mouth every day so you won't go hungry," Tian Lu said to Bai Jie.

"Probably another hundred days or so... Wait! You said you always stuff fish into my mouth!?" Bai Jie was speechless. His dream-entering skills were already quite advanced. Eating in his dreams could be reflected in reality, so he didn't need to eat so much. No wonder Bai Jie had been seeing a bunch of fish falling from the sky every day at mealtimes lately.

"Um... thank you. But actually, I don't need to eat?" Bai Jie thanked Tianlu Bixie and said that she didn't need to force him to eat so much.

“That won’t do! If we don’t eat properly, we won’t grow up! What if we all grow up and Bai Jie is still so small?” Tian Lu said seriously.

Bixie, standing beside them, nodded earnestly, indicating that he completely agreed with what Tianlu said. Baijie had helped them so much, and they wanted to take good care of her.

Bai Jie's lips twitched. "Whatever makes you happy."

"Why isn't there a Bai Jie doll?" Tianlu asked in confusion.

"Don't you see me every time you go to sleep? Why would you need a doll?" Bai Jie blinked.

"No, no! We're three brothers! Both Bixie and I have them, how can you be left out!"

"Alright, alright~ I'll definitely get one for each of you next time!"

It wasn't that Bai Jie didn't want to, but that he couldn't! He didn't have that much faith power; it took 15 faith power to solidify a doll, and he didn't even have 10 points left.

Bai Jie smiled helplessly. He was now a penniless Pixiu again, the kind who only had gold bars.
