I reached out and slowly approached the pangolin's body. It trembled even more violently, its eyes filled with terror. I gently stroked its scales, sensing the chaotic energy within its body. I reaffirmed my statement and described in detail the marks I observed on the pangolin and Liu's suspicious behavior.
