The dazzling white light almost blinded me, and a buzzing sound filled my ears, like the fluttering of a thousand bees. When the light subsided slightly, I could finally see what was in front of me: a semi-transparent energy shield, like an inverted giant bowl, firmly protected the treasure chest inside. The surface of the shield shimmered with iridescent light, and strange runes flickered faintly within.
