I walked with Little Grey down the bustling street, feeling the gazes of the passersby. Among those gazes were curiosity, doubt, and... a hint of apprehension. This was completely different from the usual contempt and ridicule, which stirred a strange sense of pleasure within me.

I said coldly.

"What? You dare to challenge me? Who do you think you are? A good-for-nothing who got dumped, you dare to be arrogant in front of me?"

Young Master Li's tone became even more arrogant. He walked up to me, pointed at me with his finger, and said with a look of disdain, "Let me tell you, Su Yao is mine! A piece of trash like you is never good enough for her!"

His words were like a sharp thorn, piercing my heart. I clenched my fists, suppressing my anger. I knew now wasn't the time to confront him directly.

"Young Master Li, you are far too confident."

I tried to control my emotions and said calmly, "Su Yao's standards are not as low as you think."

Young Master Li burst into laughter, as if he had heard the funniest joke in the world. "Su Yao's judgment? If she knew your current strength, she'd probably avoid you like the plague! As he spoke, he reached out to pat my shoulder, but I grabbed his hand.
