Beast Taming Star Journey
Chapter 393 Allies' First Arrival Shocks the Battlefield
Chapter 393 Allies Arrive on the Battlefield for the First Time
Chapter 393
The pattern on the flag...it looked like...the symbol of some kind of metal. I searched my memory and finally remembered that it was an extremely rare metal—metallic gold.
The group drew closer, their armor gleaming with metallic light. At the head of the procession stood a warrior clad in silver armor, his aura powerful yet restrained; I estimated him to be at least a Beast Taming Master. Behind him followed several warriors also in metal armor, and a strategist in a long robe, holding a feather fan.
"Who are they?" Su Yao's voice rang in my ears, her tone tinged with unease.
I shook my head, indicating that I didn't know either. The atmosphere on the battlefield grew increasingly tense, and the beast tamers around me watched the suddenly appearing group warily, gripping their weapons even tighter.
Just then, the strategist stepped forward and said loudly, "Esteemed experts of the Beast Taming Realm, we are envoys from the Kingdom of Metal. We have come here to join you in fighting against the forces of darkness!"
The Land of Metal? I've never heard of such a country. And why did they choose this time to appear? Are they really here to help us?
My mind was filled with doubt, but at the same time, I sensed that this group didn't exude any malice. The strategist's voice, though loud, carried no aggression; instead, it was full of sincerity.
I secretly observed the beast tamers around me. Their expressions varied; some were full of vigilance, while others held a hint of curiosity. I noticed a young boy staring intently at the Jin Kingdom's group, his eyes gleaming with excitement.
"The Kingdom of Metal? I've never heard of it." A high-level beast tamer named Jin Yi stepped forward, his tone tinged with suspicion. "Are you truly here to help us? Or are you spies from the dark forces?"
The words of the metal-iridium beast tamer resonated with the surrounding beast tamers, who nodded in agreement. After all, in this perilous moment, any negligence could lead to catastrophic consequences.
The strategist was not angered by the beast tamer's doubts. He maintained his calm tone and said, "I know you all have doubts about us, which is only natural. To show our sincerity, we are willing to share the intelligence we have and our battle plans with you."
As he spoke, he walked towards us and handed us a scroll. I hesitated for a moment, but ultimately accepted the scroll.
I unrolled the scroll and carefully read its contents. The scroll contained detailed intelligence on the dark forces and their upcoming plans. This intelligence was crucial; if we could prepare in advance, we would gain a significant advantage in the battles to come.
"Is this information true?" Su Yao asked.
I nodded and said, "I believe this information is true. Moreover, I sense that they have no ill intentions."
My words surprised Su Yao. She looked at me and asked, "Why are you so sure?"
I took a deep breath and said, "Intuition."
No sooner had I finished speaking than we heard shouts of battle coming from afar. We turned to look and saw an army of dark forces charging towards us.
"It seems we have no time to hesitate any longer," I said in a deep voice. "Regardless of whether the people of the Land of Metal are friend or foe, we must now join forces to fight against the forces of darkness!"
I looked at the strategist and said, "We need your help."
The strategist smiled slightly and said, "We would be happy to serve you."
He turned to the thallium warriors behind him and ordered, "Prepare for battle!"
Just then, the gold-plated boy who had been silently observing suddenly ran over, pointed to the distant sky, and shouted, "Look! What's that?"...
I looked in the direction the golden-haired boy was pointing, and saw a huge black shadow appear in the sky, rapidly approaching us. The shadow was strangely shaped, like some kind of enormous flying monster, exuding a chilling aura of darkness.
"It's the air force of the dark forces!" The Beastmaster's expression changed drastically, and he immediately shouted, "Everyone, be careful!"
The surrounding beast tamers were immediately thrown into chaos, summoning their beasts in preparation for battle.
“Let’s go too!” I said to Su Yao.
Su Yao nodded, summoned her tamed beast—a phoenix engulfed in flames—and fought alongside me against the aerial force.
The battle erupted instantly, the shouts of battle deafening. The dark forces' air units were numerous and powerful, and we were quickly drawn into a fierce struggle.
While commanding my tamed beasts to fight the enemy, I observed the army of the Metal Kingdom. I discovered that although their warriors were few in number, each one was brave and skilled in battle, especially the Metal Warrior in silver armor, whose strength was unfathomable. With each move, he could kill several flying magical beasts from the dark forces.
Seeing this, my suspicions about the Land of Metal gradually dissipated. If they were spies for the dark forces, there would be no need for them to fight so fiercely.
The battle lasted for a long time, and we gradually felt our strength waning. Just then, Su Yao gripped my hand tightly. Her palms were a little cold, but her eyes were unusually firm.
“Nong Yu, I believe in you,” she said softly.
Su Yao's words were like a warm current flowing through my heart, making me feel incredibly at ease. I know that no matter what happens, she will always be by my side.
I took a deep breath, turned to look at the Metal-Iridium Beast Tamer, and said loudly, "Metal-Iridium Beast Tamer, now is not the time for doubt! If we don't join forces, we'll all be dead!"
The Beastmaster hesitated for a moment, but finally nodded and ordered his beast to join the battle.
With the addition of the Kingdom of Metal and the Beastmasters of Metal and Iridium, our situation gradually improved. However, the air forces of the Dark Forces seemed inexhaustible, and we remained at a disadvantage.
"This can't go on!" I thought to myself. "I have to find a way to turn the tide of the battle!"
My gaze fell on the strategist, Jin Bo. He had been standing at the rear of the formation, quietly observing the battle.
"Perhaps he knows something." A thought struck me, and I walked towards the strategist.
"Strategist Jinbo, what exactly is your purpose?" I asked bluntly.
Jinbo strategist smiled slightly and said, "Nong Yu, I know you still have doubts about us. However, now is not the time to explain. I will tell you everything after this battle is over."
"No!" I said in a deep voice, "I want to know now!"
The strategist sighed and said, "Alright. Since you insist..."
He stepped forward and began to explain their purpose. However, the beast tamer with the metal and iridium still looked suspicious, and the beast tamers around him also pricked up their ears, listening carefully to the words of the strategist with the metal and platinum.
All eyes were on me, waiting for my decision. I…
