The roar of the Lin family echoed through the valley, and enormous beastly shadows pressed down like collapsing mountains. My heart pounded, but my gaze remained unusually calm, fixed on the charging behemoths. Their target… something was wrong!

Su Yao asked, puzzled.

"Catch the thief first and capture the king first!"

I leaped onto Xiaoxue's back, and Xiaoxue let out a clear cry, transforming into a white light as it charged toward the strongest giant bear in the enemy camp.

"He's insane! He's going to his death!"

I heard an elder from the farming family exclaim behind me. I ignored him; all my attention was focused on the giant bear in front of me.

Beside the giant bear stood a man dressed in black, none other than Lin Hu, a high-ranking beast tamer from the Lin family.

A cold smile played on his lips, as if he disdained my futile attempt to stop him.

"You overconfident brat!"

With a roar, Lin Hu commanded the giant bear to pounce on me. I clung tightly to Xiao Xue's fur, and Xiao Xue nimbly dodged the giant bear's attacks while continuously releasing frost power to slow it down.

Although the giant bear was powerful, it was clumsy and, thanks to Xiaoxue's agile movements, it couldn't do anything to us for a while.

While directing Xiaoxue, I carefully observed the coordination between Lin Hu and the giant bear, looking for their weaknesses.

Although their attacks were fierce, they had a clear rhythm. After each attack by the giant bear, Lin Hu would pause briefly, as if he was gathering his strength.
