Chapter 336 The Deeper the Analysis, the More Confused One Becomes

When I appeared at the next campsite, the crowd surged forward like a tide. They whispered among themselves, their eyes filled with curiosity and anticipation. I always liked to maintain a touch of mystery before my speeches, to whet their appetites. I glanced around, deliberately slowing my pace, letting the suspense build in the air. Su Yao stood beside me, holding my hand, offering silent support. I could feel the warmth of her palm, which strengthened my resolve.

I walked to the wooden platform in the center of the camp, took a deep breath, and slowly began to speak: "I know that many people still have doubts about our cooperation with our mysterious ally. Today, I would like to discuss with you in depth what this cooperation can actually bring us."

My voice was clear and strong, echoing across the camp. I pointed to several large crates behind me, filled with resources from our mysterious allies—deep-sea crystals, meteorite iron, and various rare herbs. "These are merely the initial benefits of our cooperation. Think about it, with these resources, how much will our strength increase? How much better will we be in our fight against the forces of darkness?"

A buzz of discussion arose from the crowd. I raised my hand to signal everyone to be quiet and continued, "More importantly, this cooperation brings not only immediate benefits but also a long-term future! By cooperating with our mysterious allies, we can share resources, exchange technologies, and even learn their advanced beast-taming concepts. Imagine what a prosperous world of beast taming will be after we defeat the forces of darkness!"

I painted a beautiful picture of the future, and the beast tamers listened with rapt attention. Many who had initially wavered gradually shifted their stance towards cooperation. I saw the beast tamer who mended beasts in the crowd; he clenched his fists excitedly, his eyes gleaming with hope.

“I know some people are still concerned about the safety of these resources.” I paused, then took a piece of deep-sea crystal from the box and displayed it to everyone. “I can assure you all that these resources are absolutely safe and reliable! To prove this…”

I swallowed the Deep Sea Crystal again, and a powerful energy instantly surged through my body. My aura soared, and my body faintly radiated a golden light. A gasp erupted from the crowd; they were all stunned by my actions.

Looking at the astonished faces, I felt a surge of confidence. "This is the power of cooperating with our mysterious allies! I believe that as long as we unite as one, we will surely defeat the forces of darkness and create an even brighter future!"

As I finished my speech, thunderous applause erupted from the crowd. I stepped down from the stage, and Su Yao came to greet me, her eyes filled with pride and love. She gently hugged me and whispered in my ear, "You did very well."

I felt her warmth, and a warm feeling welled up inside me. I knew that my efforts had not been in vain.

Suddenly, a commotion arose in the crowd. I turned to look and saw the Beastmaster leading a group of people over, their faces bearing hostile expressions... I gripped Su Yao's hand tightly and whispered, "Looks like the show is about to begin."

Before the applause had even subsided, a shrill shout erupted from the edge of the crowd, like sharp pebbles scraping across a smooth mirror, shattering the previously harmonious atmosphere. I looked in the direction of the sound and, sure enough, it was the Beastmaster and his group of stubborn followers. They strode aggressively toward us, their faces filled with undisguised hostility.

"Nonsense! What mysterious allies? They're just some dubious characters!" The Beastmaster's voice was rough and grating, booming through the crowd like a broken gong. "You actually believe these outsiders' nonsense? You're utterly foolish!"

His men joined in the commotion, shouting and mocking me, trying to drown out my voice and plunging the scene into chaos. Some of the beast tamers I had initially persuaded began to waver, their faces showing hesitation.

I felt Su Yao's hand tighten. She turned to look at me, her eyes filled with worry. I gave her a reassuring look, indicating that she shouldn't worry. I had anticipated this situation and was prepared to deal with it.

Just then, Su Yao suddenly released my hand and leaped onto a nearby boulder. Tall and slender, she stood atop the rock, appearing even more majestic and awe-inspiring, like a war goddess. She took a deep breath and then shouted in a voice even louder than the Beastmaster's, "Shut up!"

The sudden sound, like a thunderclap, instantly stunned the entire audience. The clamor ceased abruptly, and everyone turned to look at Su Yao, including the stubborn conservatives who had been shouting.

"What right do you people have to question Nong Yu here?" Su Yao's voice was full of authority, with an undeniable air of dominance. "He has devoted himself to the future of the Beast Taming World, yet you are here to sow discord. What are your intentions?"

Her gaze was piercing, sweeping over the troublemakers as if she could see right through them. Many were intimidated by her imposing presence and involuntarily lowered their heads.

Looking at Su Yao standing on the high place, my heart was filled with love and gratitude. She was always like this, standing by my side without hesitation when I needed help the most, sheltering me from the wind and rain.

Sunlight bathed her, gilding her with a golden glow. Every smile, every gesture of hers is deeply imprinted in my mind, lingering there. I can even smell the faint fragrance emanating from her, a unique scent that captivates me.

The Beast Tamer was overwhelmed by Su Yao's imposing aura and was speechless for a moment. His face was ashen, and he glared fiercely at Su Yao, his eyes filled with rage.

I slowly walked forward and stood beside Su Yao, side by side with her. I looked at the Beastmaster, a meaningful smile playing on my lips. "Beastmaster, I know you harbor resentment towards our cooperation with our mysterious ally. But I want to tell you, cooperation is an inevitable trend, and you cannot stop it."

I paused, my gaze sweeping over the die-hards behind him, my voice growing even more resolute. "Today, I'll show you what true power is!"

I reached out and grasped Su Yao's hand, our fingers intertwined. A powerful energy surged from within me, merging with Su Yao's power to form an even stronger force.

Sensing this power, the Beastmaster's expression grew even more grim. He gritted his teeth, seemingly making a decision. He abruptly waved his hand and shouted to his men, "Let's go!"

After saying that, he left without looking back, and his men followed closely behind, disappearing into the crowd.

As I watched them walk away, I felt no relief, only a heavier weight in my heart. I knew this was just the beginning.

"It seems the real battle has only just begun..." I said in a low voice, looking into the distance with a glint of light in my eyes.
