"They...they've attacked!" The soldier's broken words boomed like thunder in the silent negotiation room.

A chill instantly ran from my feet to the top of my head. I stood up abruptly, a sense of foreboding washing over me. Before I could react, a deafening explosion came from afar, and the earth trembled.

The conference room windows were shattered by the shockwave, and glass shards flew everywhere.

Su Yao pulled me behind her and shouted sternly, "Protect our allies!"

"Despicable!" Elder Carbon roared, never expecting the leader of the lithium forces to launch an attack during negotiations.

I immediately realized that now was not the time to assign blame; saving my life was the priority! "Flaming Lion, Ice Python, come out!" I focused my mental energy and established a connection with my two tamed beasts.

Almost in the blink of an eye, two beams of light flashed, and my two powerful tamed beasts appeared beside me. The Flame Lion let out a deafening roar, its mane like burning flames, while the Frost Python coiled at my feet, its icy aura causing the surrounding air to freeze into frost.

"Yao'er, you protect Elder Tan and the others as they evacuate. Leave this to me!" I shouted to Su Yao.

Without the slightest hesitation, Su Yao drew her longsword, its blade flashing, and repelled the several lithium force soldiers who rushed in. "Leave it to me!"

I took a deep breath and glanced at the panicked crowd. "Beastmaster, organize an orderly evacuation! I'll hold them off!"

Boron, being a highly experienced beast tamer, reacted quickly and began directing everyone to retreat. I focused all my mental energy on the battlefield.

The soldiers of the lithium forces surged in like a tidal wave, their tamed beasts taking on various forms, emitting deafening roars as they charged towards us menacingly.

"Flaming Lion, Fire Wall! Frost Python, Ice Spike!" I calmly issued the commands.

The Flame Lion roared to the sky, and a huge wall of fire rose from the ground, forming a blazing barrier that kept the enemies at the forefront out of the way.

The enormous body of the Xuanbing Python coiled up, spewing out countless sharp ice spikes from its mouth, which rained down on the enemy, causing screams to rise and fall.

"What exquisite teamwork! As expected of Nong Yu!" the Beast Tamer exclaimed as he organized the retreat.

My beast-taming tactics differ from other beast tamers. I place more emphasis on the cooperation between beasts to achieve a synergy greater than the sum of its parts.

"Keep attacking! Don't give them a chance to breathe!" I shouted, my mind highly focused, paying close attention to every detail on the battlefield, ready to adjust tactics at any time.

The leader of the lithium faction stood on a distant high ground, watching everything with a grim expression. He clearly hadn't expected my summoned beast to be so powerful, capable of withstanding their first wave of attacks.

He snorted coldly and said to a burly man beside him, "Looks like we underestimated this kid. Go and take care of him!"

The man grinned maliciously, mounted a huge black bear, and charged towards where I was...

"It's here!" I thought to myself, sensing a powerful aura approaching.

The black bear charged like a small mountain, shaking the ground. I felt an immense pressure; this man's strength far surpassed that of ordinary soldiers—he was at least a high-level beast tamer!

"Flaming Lion, Flame Bomb! Frost Python, Freeze!" I immediately gave the order.

The Flaming Lion conjured a massive fireball from its mouth, blasting it towards the black giant bear with scorching heat. The Frost Python, on the other hand, spewed out extremely cold air, attempting to freeze the giant bear's movements.

But the man was clearly prepared; a layer of earthy yellow light emanated from the giant bear, forming a sturdy shield that blocked the attack of the flame bullets.

At the same time, the giant bear slammed its fist on the ground, shattering the ice, and continued charging towards us.

"Damn it!" I cursed under my breath. This giant bear's defense was too strong!

Just then, a figure flashed by, and Su Yao appeared beside me, her long sword flashing like lightning as she stabbed towards the giant bear's eye. "Beast, cease your arrogance!"

The giant bear roared in pain and swung its massive paw at Su Yao. My heart tightened, and I quickly commanded the Xuanbing Python to block the attack with its body.

With a loud "bang!", the Ice Python was sent flying, crashing into a row of houses. I glanced at my companion with concern; thankfully, it was tough and hadn't suffered any serious injury.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Su Yao circled behind the giant bear, her longsword dancing like a dragon, leaving wounds on its body. Blood splattered, and the giant bear's roar grew even more ferocious.

"Yao'er, be careful!" I shouted a warning.

Su Yao's swordsmanship was fierce, but the giant bear's hide was thick and tough, making it difficult to defeat it in a short time. I took a deep breath; I had to find a way to break the stalemate!

"Flaming Lion, Ice Python, combine your attacks! Ice and Fire in One Heaven!" I shouted.

The Flame Lion and the Frost Python roared simultaneously, their bodies surrounded by flames and frost respectively. The two completely different forces converged in the air, forming a powerful energy vortex.

"Roar!" Sensing this powerful force, the giant bear retreated a few steps uneasily. "Attack!" I commanded, and the Flaming Lion and the Frost Python launched their attack simultaneously.

Fireballs and ice spikes intertwined, raining down like a storm, slamming into the giant bear. The bear let out a piercing scream, its massive body crashing to the ground.

I breathed a sigh of relief; I had finally dealt with this troublesome fellow. But I knew this was just the beginning; the lithium forces still had many elite units.

Su Yao landed beside me, her body covered in blood, yet she still looked incredibly brave and spirited. She took my hand, and I could feel the warmth and strength in her palm.

"We'll fight together!" Su Yao said firmly.

I nodded, my heart filled with strength. On the distant hillside, the leader of the lithium faction watched all this, his face terribly grim.

His lieutenant asked cautiously, "Chief, should we continue the attack?"

The lithium faction leader didn't answer. He stared intently at Su Yao and me, a sinister glint in his eyes. He slowly raised his right hand, and a black bead shimmering with an eerie light appeared in his palm…
