Beast Taming Star Journey

The council hall fell silent instantly, all eyes fixed on the soldier lying on the ground. A chill ran from my feet to the top of my head; I realized that, at this moment, all hope for peace might have been shattered.

"What's going on outside?!" I asked sharply, grabbing another soldier who stumbled in.

His face turned deathly pale, and he shouted incoherently, "Lithium...Lithium forces...They broke the agreement...They launched an attack! Our defenses...Our defenses are about to collapse!" My heart sank, and a surge of anger welled up in my chest.

We fought for peace all day, and this is the result! "Su Yao, Beast Tamer, come with me!" I roared and turned to rush out of the council hall.

The scene outside was worse than I had imagined. Thick smoke billowed, flames soared into the sky, and the shouts of battle were deafening.

The lithium army surged in like a tidal wave, our soldiers were forced into retreat, and our defenses were on the verge of collapse. "Damn it!" I cursed, and immediately summoned my beast companions.

The giant bear roared as it charged into the enemy ranks, birds of prey circled in the air, emitting sharp cries, and venomous snakes flicked their tongues, waiting for their chance to strike.

"Set up the formation!" I shouted, a brand new formation appearing in my mind.

This is a formation I've never tried before. It requires all my beast-taming partners to work together perfectly, merging their individual powers to unleash their maximum potential.

My beast companions sprang into action, taking their places according to my commands.

The giant bear is located at the core of the formation. Its massive body is as majestic as a mountain, providing strong support for the entire formation.

Raptors and venomous snakes are positioned on the two flanks of the formation. Their speed and agility will serve as the formation's sharpest weapons, delivering fatal blows to the enemy.

At my command, the formation was activated. A dazzling light burst forth from the center of the formation, forming a massive energy shield that enveloped us.

The energy shield expanded outwards, blasting away the surrounding enemies. "What is this?!" the lithium soldiers cried out in terror; they had never seen such a powerful formation before.

I sneered and manipulated the formation to launch a fierce attack on the enemy.

Energy beams, firestorms, and venomous arrows—a variety of attacks were unleashed, routing the lithium forces' army.

Seeing this, the morale of our own soldiers, which had been low, was greatly boosted. They shouted my name and fought bravely against the enemy.

"Hmph, a mere trick!" The voice of the lithium faction leader came from afar, tinged with disdain. "You think you can stop me like this? Charge!" The lithium faction leader's voice boomed across the battlefield like thunder. My heart tightened, knowing that the real battle had just begun.

Sure enough, a group of elite beast tamers, each riding a ferocious beast, charged toward our formation like arrows released from a bow.

These strange beasts each possessed a powerful aura, clearly indicating they were no ordinary creatures.

Although my beast-taming companions were brave, they gradually showed signs of fatigue under the onslaught of these elite beast tamers.

The bear's breathing became heavy, a few feathers fell from the raptor, and the snake's attack speed slowed down.

Sweat beaded on my forehead. If this continues, the formation will be breached sooner or later.

The giant bear obeyed my command and slowly retreated, giving up the position of the array's core.

The raptor let out a sharp cry and swooped down from the sky like a black lightning bolt, heading straight for the enemy's rear.

The venomous snakes silently burrow underground, waiting for their chance to strike.

My beast companions rallied, and they seemed to sense my determination, unleashing even greater power.

The giant bear roared and slammed its massive paws into the ground, causing the earth to tremble.

The raptors circled in the air, constantly harassing the enemy's rear and preventing them from concentrating their attacks on the formation.

Venomous snakes would occasionally emerge from underground to ambush the enemy, catching them completely off guard. For a time, dust filled the air on the battlefield, and shouts of battle shook the heavens.

My beast companions and I fought desperately, like trapped beasts, surrounded by enemies. Just then, I felt a warm presence behind me.

I knew who it was without even turning around. "Su Yao!"

"I'm here." Her voice was calm, yet resolute. She stood behind me, back to back, together defending against the enemy's attack.

I could feel her body temperature, her breathing, and her heartbeat. This made me feel incredibly safe and filled me with fighting spirit.

We fought side by side, like two pine trees that stood tall and unyielding, never bowing our heads no matter how the wind and rain raged.

The lithium faction leader's face grew increasingly grim; he hadn't expected my formation to be so tenacious.

He gritted his teeth, as if making a decision... I saw a stone shimmering with an eerie light appear in his hand...
