Beast Taming Star Journey

The Misty Valley lives up to its name. Upon entering the valley, a thick fog, like a veil, immediately enveloped us, draping visibility so low that we couldn't see our hands in front of our faces. The cold air carried a damp, decaying stench that sent chills down our spines.

I gripped Su Yao's hand tightly. The Howling Moon Wolf and the Crimson Flame Eagle circled around us warily. Their senses were far more acute than ours, and they were growling uneasily, as if they had sensed some danger.

"Be careful, this place is unusual," I whispered, my beast-taming power unconsciously activating within me, forging a closer connection with the Howling Moon Wolf and the Crimson Flame Eagle, sharing their senses.

Su Yao nodded, and a long sword radiating a cold light appeared in her hand, its blade faintly crackling with the power of lightning.

We cautiously groped our way forward, the fog so thick it seemed to solidify, even our voices became muffled.

Ancient texts record that the Soul-Purifying Grass grows in places rich in spiritual energy and is accompanied by special energy fluctuations.

I concentrated, trying to sense the changes in energy around me, hoping to find traces of the Soul-Cleansing Grass. After walking for about half an hour, I still found nothing.

I couldn't help but feel anxious. The injuries to Howling Moon Wolf and Crimson Flame Eagle couldn't be delayed. If we couldn't find the Soul Cleansing Grass... I didn't dare to think about it.

In the center of the valley, a plant emitting a soft white light grew quietly. Its leaves were as translucent as jade, exuding a faint fragrance. It was the Soul-Purifying Grass!

"Finally found it!" I was overjoyed and was about to go forward to pick it when I suddenly felt a powerful aura rapidly approaching!

I turned around abruptly and saw a middle-aged man in a golden robe standing at the entrance of the valley. His eyes were sinister and a cold smile was on his lips. Several ferocious beasts followed behind him.

"The Golden Beast Tamer!" Su Yao recognized the newcomer at a glance, her tone carrying a hint of seriousness. What was he doing here?

The Golden Beastmaster looked at us, his greedy gaze landing on the Soul-Cleansing Grass. "Not bad, I actually found the Soul-Cleansing Grass. However, this thing is mine now." He waved his hand, and the beast behind him roared and pounced towards us... The Golden Beastmaster's beast, a giant python covered in metallic scales, roared as it pounced towards us, its stench overwhelming us.

"Howling Moon Wolf, Frost Breath!" I immediately commanded. The Howling Moon Wolf roared to the sky, and a stream of icy blue energy surged from its mouth, instantly enveloping the giant python.

At the same time, the Crimson Flame Eagle also took flight, its blazing flames crashing down on the giant python like meteors.

It angrily swung its massive body, blocking the Crimson Flame Eagle's fiery attack as well. This Golden Beast Tamer's beasts were indeed extraordinary! Without the slightest hesitation, Su Yao flashed forward like lightning, rushing towards the Golden Beast Tamer.

"Your opponent is me!" she shouted, her longsword drawing a sharp arc as it aimed straight for the Golden Beastmaster's throat.

The Golden Beastmaster sneered and calmly summoned a golden shield to block Su Yao's attack.

"Overestimating yourself!" He swung his palm out, his powerful beast-taming energy transforming into a golden palm print that blasted towards Su Yao.

Su Yao moved nimbly, narrowly dodging the palm strike. The two instantly clashed, sword light flashing, palm winds whistling, and for a time it was difficult to determine a winner. While directing the Howling Moon Wolf and Crimson Flame Eagle to fight the giant python, I kept a close eye on the battle between Su Yao and the Golden Beastmaster.

The giant python was far stronger than the Howling Moon Wolf and the Crimson Flame Eagle. Despite their fierce resistance, they gradually fell into a disadvantageous position.

Several wounds had appeared on the Howling Moon Wolf's body, and several feathers on the Crimson Flame Eagle's feathers had been singed. I was extremely anxious, but there was nothing I could do.

Although the python's attacks were fierce, they seemed somewhat rigid, always repeating a few fixed movements... Could it be...? A thought suddenly flashed through my mind. I stared intently at the python's movements, memorizing every move and gesture.

"Su Yao, be careful!" I suddenly shouted, while simultaneously commanding the Howling Moon Wolf and the Crimson Flame Eagle to retreat.

"What are you doing?" Su Yao asked, puzzled, but she still obeyed my command and quickly broke away from the battle with the Golden Beastmaster.

"I think... I've discovered something..." I whispered, my eyes gleaming. "His beast taming... seems..."
