"Su Yao!" I roared, the surging power within me erupting like a volcano, and the pain inflicted by the combined attack from the Thunder Beastmaster and the Fire Beastmaster receded like a receding tide. The star map shone even brighter, and a powerful energy wave spread outwards from me.

I felt an even closer connection with my beast companion, Xiao Yan; it was as if we had become one.

He held a bead that shimmered with lightning in his hand, and a powerful energy wave emanated from it, making the surrounding air seem to freeze.

"Kid, you think you've won just like that?" Thunder Beastmaster said through gritted teeth. "I have even more powerful methods up my sleeve!"

My heart sank. The energy fluctuations emanating from this bead made my heart tremble. This was definitely a powerful beast-taming magic weapon.

I turned to look at the Thunder Beastmaster, my eyes filled with killing intent.

"Little Flame, Wrath of the Heavens!" Little Flame roared to the sky, its flames transforming into a massive pillar of fire that shot into the heavens, then erupted like a volcano, sweeping towards the Thunder Beastmaster... Suddenly, a deafening roar echoed from the depths of the inheritance grounds, the ground trembling violently. I felt a powerful force surging forth from the earth's depths... Elder Feng's expression changed drastically, exclaiming, "What's happening? The inheritance..."
